Being a Paralyzed Doctor Bride

Being a Paralyzed Doctor Bride
Chapter 5. Lied

Yuan could only sculpt while sitting at the dining table. He stared at the cold food. Anton cleared his throat and began to calm the son-in-law.

"Yuan, forgive Andri, huh? He's been like that ever since he experienced ...." Yuan's words hung in the air as Yuan cut him off.

"It's okay, sir. Yuan knows. Yuan understood exactly what Mas Andri was feeling." Yuan looked at Anton with teary eyes and a stiff smile.

Anton looked to breath. On the other hand Riana was busy with her food while playing the mobile phone. After she finished eating, she did not say a word and just left the table.

Anton again shook his head because his two children were being bad to the son-in-law. He encouraged Yuan and the woman could only answer that it was okay, but her heart was so sick.

Yuan felt that everything he did in this house seemed to be meaningless. There's only Drini and Anton who strengthen. The rest of Riana and Andri only consider it dust that sticks to their families.

"Where is Andri, Mom?" anton asked when he saw Drini walking towards them.

"I-mom made a mistake, sir!" Drini again occupied her seat while drowning her face in the palm of her hand.

"Why?" asked Andri while frowning.

"I-mom slapped Andri with these hands!" Drini looked at both of her palms with a trembling body.

Anton took a long breath. The man immediately approached his wife and hugged her in a standing position. Drini's cry broke.

"Udah, it's okay. You know how Mom feels now. So, I chose silence. You know, I'm trying to wake Andri up. But, for now let him take his own stance, ma'am. Men are getting forced to get more violent."

Anton kept his wife calm. He tried to advise Drini without hurting his wife and making her soulmate feel cornered. After she finished eating, Sumi cleaned the table.

Yuan chose to sit in the back garden. Staring at a variety of ornamental plants treated by Drini. The soothing aroma of the different types of flower plants made Yuan's heart a little calmer. He smiled gently as he closed his eyes as the morning wind caressed his face.

"I will accept your destiny, Lord. I have made this decision so, please strengthen me to have unlimited patience. Only You can turn the hearts of men. So, hopefully what I do later for Mas Andri can make You help me melt his heart."

Yuan said those prayers in his heart. He still believes in God's goodness. Hopefully he will never get tired in the face of Andri's very temperament attitude and his spicy remarks.

From that day on, Andri again refused to eat a table with Yuan. He did not want to eat the dishes made by his wife. The man specifically asked Sumi to prepare the food and drive her into the room.

One day, a new idea pops into Yuan's head. The woman forbids Sumi from cooking, then secretly prepares food for Andri. After a bad luck, Yuan asked Drini to deliver the food to Andri.

Since the fight that day, Drini who felt guilty was silent a thousand languages to Andri. He was reluctant to greet his son because he was afraid Andri still put a sense of disappointment.

"Mom, can Yuan ask for help?" asked Yuan with a gentle smile.

"What do you ask for, Nduk?" drini asked with a big smile.

Yuan began to arrange rice, vegetables, side dishes, and several types of drinks on the tray. When she was finished, she lifted the tray and presented it to Drini. Drini also received it with eyebrows that intertwined.

"Who's this for, Nduk?" ask Drini.

"No, ah!" reject Drini while putting the tray back on the table.

Yuan smiled faintly and then grabbed both of her mother-in-law's hands. The two stared at each other. As if there was telepathy between them, Drini suddenly nodded.

"Yo wis, I'm taking you to Andri. Later, if he won't eat, piye?"

"Mother forcefully! Yuan knew in fact Mas Andri was a good man. She would have eaten it all if Mom said she had taken the trouble to cook and prepare all this."

Drini was silent. He looked at his daughter-in-law. He really did not expect that Yuan had such extensive patience.

As Andri continued to hurt Yuan with her attitude and speech, she became more and more kind to Andri. Drini thought if only he was in the position of Yuan, surely he would not be as patient as ever in facing Andri.

"So, you're asking Mom to lie?" Drini squinted her eyes while folding her arms in front of her chest.

"Th-that ...."

Unnatural intermittent laughter Drini broke. He really has an object that can be used as a joke now. The middle-aged woman instantly pinched Yuan's gaunt cheek.

"You're really adorable! All right, I'm gonna do this lie mission for you!" exclaim Drini spirit.

Drini lifted the tray again and looked towards the door of Andri's room. He knocked on the door. After Andri allowed entry, Drini turned the door lever.

While the mother-in-law entered the room, Yuan remained silent at the dining table as she continued to pray. He hopes this time Andri likes his cooking, and the relationship with Drini can improve.

On the other hand, Drini immediately stepped closer to the table that was near the sofa. From the condition of the room, Drini realized that the son-in-law was treated badly by Andri. There were pillows and folded blankets on the sofa.

"Ndri, eat first" said Drini without taking his eyes off the pillow and blanket.

Andri who was still on the balcony was silent. He just stared at the blue sky with the actual sunlight starting to scorch and dazzle the eyes.

Drini sighed harshly, then walked slowly closer to the son. He squirms in front of Andri then clasps his fingers. Drini tried to suppress her emotions in order to fight to melt Andri's heart for Yuan.

"Ndri, are you still mad at Mom?" ask Drini in a soft tone.

"According to Mother?" ketus Andri while glancing Drini a glance through the tail of his eyes.

"Mom's really sorry. It's not appropriate for me to be so rude to you, Ndri. I'm really sorry." Drini looked down at her skirt while playing her fingers on it.

"That's easy, huh, I'm sorry?" Andri smiled as she looked at Drini.

Hearing Andri's words that sounded tense made Drini look up. He looked at the son with a goiter throat. However, what Andri did was not wrong. In reality, he is guilty.

"Ndri, what should I do for you to forgive me?" ask Drini with teary eyes.
