Backstreet is a pattern of relationships filled with consequences.

That's what Micah is currently living with Gavin. Micah hid it from Micah's parents, who had not given their blessing to Gavin and Micah.

Unbeknownst to Feni and Wira, Micah often spends time with Gavin. Micah's parents were too busy. Where did they find out about Micah and Gavin, Micah thought.

"You're still in touch with Gavin?"

The question of the Hero made Micah speechless. Finally, when it arrived. When will Wira ask about her relationship with Gavin.

Micah cleared his throat slowly before answering the question of the Hero. "No, no, Pa." Inwardly wants to withdraw his words. Didn't want to say that because it was against his heart.

Micah nodded for sure. "Yes, Pa. Papa knows that Micah's going to the thesis."

"You can have a relationship with anyone, Micah. Not with Anton's family. Are you ashamed that you will marry Gavin one day? What do people say if you're married to your own ex-sister-in-law?"

Micah silence. No more words came out of his lips. Fighting is also free.

Micah was not afraid that his life would no longer be supported by his parents. But Micah prefers to discuss this with Gavin. So Micah would not step alone.

Somehow he and Gavin would ask Micah's parents for their blessing, neither Micah nor Gavin had discussed it.

They choose to enjoy their togetherness rather than having to think about it even though the blessing of parents is most important.

Micah took his bag and left just like that leaving Feni who was still in Micah's room.

After her divorce, Micah had the support of her parents. Freeing Micah to choose as long as Micah is happy.

But not with Feni and Wira. They allowed Micah to be with anyone he loved, as long as it did not come from the Anton family.

Micah turned his finger on the lip of the cup that contained matcha greentea that had begun to cool. The contents have not yet moved into Micah's stomach. Micah preferred to look at it rather than enjoy it. Not tasteful at all.

Micah waited half an hour for Gavin to arrive at the cafe. Gavin said he was outside. Micah could not meet Gavin in his office or in his apartment.

"Hey. Sorry, old brother."

Micah smiled faintly. Gavin's fixed kiss on Micah's forehead made Micah's heart feel a little calmer.

"No, really. You're busy, aren't you? I'm sorry, I'm disturbing" Micah said unkindly. In line with his mood which is not good.

Gavin clasped Micah's hands tightly together on the table.

"Regular. Papa and Mama. They don't want to ruin our relationship." Micah's tears just fell. "Son, really love me, right? Really wanna fight for our relationship, right?"
