Being Queen in the Hands of Sister-in-law

Being Queen in the Hands of Sister-in-law
The Part 73

Dark clouds blanketed the sky of Jakarta this afternoon. A seal of the hearts of the families and mourners who delivered the body to its final resting place.

Gavin had no power to stem his tears when he put his wife's body into the pit.

Everything is like a dream. Even losing Micah she hoped it was only a dream.

The happiness they feel is not yet. They were together after many years apart.

But now they are separated again. Not a year or two. Except forever.

The hardest parting is death. Where only prayer can be offered when longing. Can't cure that longing, it even feels growing.

Triplet needs both parents to accompany, care for, educate them to adulthood.

Triplet had not had time to feel the warm embrace of Micah. They could not see Micah's shady eyes.

Gavin broke charcoal. I don't know what to do or how to do after this. Her life is no longer beautiful without Micah. His world was no longer attractive after Micah's departure.

Gavin could not help but hold his body upright as the ground began to bury Micah's body.

His soul mate has gone. Half his breath is gone. Micah went to bring all the love and heart that Gavin had.

Perhaps, Gavin could no longer love. His whole heart was buried with Micah's body.

***

After the funeral, Gavin locked himself in his room. Be sincere and patient. Two words that are easy to say but hard to do.

Gavin tried to be sincere even though it was difficult. Micah's departure certainly made a very deep hole in his heart.

Gavin still hopes that what is happening right now is a dream. Gavin wanted to immediately return to the real world, and Micah gave a wide smile welcoming him.

Hugging her tightly and then expressing each other's longing. Holding their children and playing together.

Even the fragrance of the perfume Micah always wears before going to bed is still smelling on their pillows and beds.

Gavin's tears came down again imagining it all. He hugged a picture of his wedding with Micah. Where Micah was smiling widely while hugging Gavin.

It felt like just yesterday they were happy to get married, a fancy reception, then find out Micah's pregnancy which turned out to be pregnant with twins.

For almost nine months they waited for the birth of their children. Prepare all your needs together.

Dream good dreams with their children later.

It feels unfair to Gavin and Micah, as well as their children.

The triplet had to lose its mother, even when they had never touched it once.

"Vin, let's pick up the triplet, yeah. They can be brought home."

Again, Gavin is getting more and more bothered. Can't imagine this house without Micah.

"It should have been me and Micah who picked them up, Ma. They should be able to hug her now."

Yunita wiped her tears. Seeing Gavin fragile and destroyed like this, certainly made him very injured. He also lost Micah. The good boy must first face the almighty.

Yunita immediately hugged Gavin. Currently only support can be provided for Gavin. Asking for patience and sincerity, of course Gavin is trying to do that.

"Mom knows it's heavy, son. But Micah must be sad if you ignore the triplet. They need you now."

Gavin nodded in understanding and understood. Is correct. There was a triplet he had to think about. Gavin has to give his best for them. The part of Micah that still remains with real.

"We're picking them up now, Ma."

Yunita smiled widely. He immediately went out to order Gavin's housekeeper to clean and prepare the triplet room as they were about to return home soon.

***

The arrival of three red babies was welcomed by the family.

Still there is less without Micah's presence. They were just trying to keep smiling in front of the triplet when their hearts were deeply hurt.

"What's their name, Vin?"

Hearing the question, Gavin fell silent and answered nothing.

Micah and Gavin had agreed to seek a name after their children were born because one was not yet known by gender.

But now, even Gavin can't think what name he's going to give his three children.

"Not yet to find a name, Pa. Gavin will think of a fitting name for them."

The hero nodded in understanding.

"Sister, weeping children, nih."

Gavin was still comfortable with his sleep.

"Sister, help me. Children cry gini stuff."

Gavin jerks. Micah's voice sounded so real in his ears.

Opening both eyes, Gavin breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Micah sitting standing before him holding their baby.

"Sleeping brother what's fainting, anyway?"

Gavin blinked his eyes a few times. Didn't answer Micah's question. Gavin was still busy easing his racing heart.

His dream looks real to the tightness that Gavin feels was carried to the real world.

"Aren't you all right?"

Micah sat beside him.

Gavin twisted his body to face Micah. Touch her hand and hold it tightly.

Feels real.

Gavin also looked at his mother who was holding her children.

Both of his mama stared intently at Gavin. She could have fallen asleep when her three children were crying together.

Gavin immediately hugged Micah tightly. Even until she cried on Micah's shoulder.

Micah to astonishment. Staring at Yunita and Feni in turn. Both of his mama's shoulders are sniffing their shoulders a sign they don't understand what happened to Gavin either.

"Don't ever leave my sister, yeah, honey. Don't ever try to get away from you."

"So why, anyway? I was right here. Carry a triplet, again. Why wake up like a gini?"

Micah rubbed Gavin's cheek and looked at her gently. "No nightmare, huh?"

"Very bad."

"I'm here, brother. It's for you and the kids."

Gavin hugged Micah again and kissed his face repeatedly.

Flashbacks

After waiting for almost thirty minutes with fear, worrying Micah why-why, the doctor finally came out with happy news.

Micah was conscious and was able to communicate.

Gavin's feeling of relief was incredible. Happy tears dripped down her cheeks. Soon she met Micah and hugged him tightly.

I am so grateful that they were given the opportunity to be together.

"Thank you for holding on, dear" he said, greeted with a sweet kiss on Gavin's cheek.

"Sister getting thinner. This too..." Micah rubbed Gavin's jaw, which began to overgrow his hair. "Not treated for sure. I think it's dangerous to kiss kids, Papi. Could be red-red their cheeks later."

"How can you take care of yourself while you're here fighting between life and death, dear. I don't have time for that."

Micah laughed a little. "Healthy kids? How are they developing?"

Gavin nodded for sure. "Sound children. Their weight has all increased. The firstborn this morning until noon was fussy because he did not want to drink formula milk. But thank God this afternoon was going to drink milk."

"We look at them, brother. I want to love them ASI."

"Tomorrow, yeah, honey. You guys rest tonight."

That very night, Micah was transferred to the ward. Leaving the ICU room which Gavin said was a very stressful room.

Inside the ICU room, Gavin felt it was a place to fight with the angel of death. It doesn't make sense. But that was in Gavin's mind.
