Being Queen in the Hands of Sister-in-law

Being Queen in the Hands of Sister-in-law
Part 6's

"Livy wait for me."

With half-running wide strides, Micah chased after Livy and his other colleagues who had already left the office for lunch.

"Why, Kha?" Everyone seems astonished. The girl is rarely seen in the office. At lunchtime he did not come down, or must have been out of the office with Gavin.

"I'm coming to lunch with you guys" he said with certainty while breathing in.

Ria looked at Micah questioningly. "Related, Kha?"

Micah nodded strongly. "Yes for sure, dong. Where do you want to eat?"

"On the front meatball, anyway," replied Novia.

"Geek, ah." Micah precedes their steps. Hearing they would eat meatballs, his hunger had grown.

"Tumben you had lunch with us, Kha? Mr. Gavin, what aren't you doing?"

"Sstt... Don't say tumben. I will not be allowed to bother me."

His friends laughed at Micah's response.

Since this morning Micah cried in Gavin's arms, Gavin did not burden Micah too much with work. The usual task was given to Micah entirely, half of which was taken by Gavin.

Gavin also gave Micah permission to rest outside. Therefore, Micah went down immediately to find his friends who were going to lunch.

The way Gavin behaved changed a bit too. He's no longer cold, no longer cold. Gavin became more attentive to Micah. Making Micah who was initially reluctant to be more enjoying the comfort provided by Gavin.

"Would you drink, Kha?" the bargain was slow as he sipped the coffee made by Micah.

Micah shook his head. "I only drink water, brother."

And again, their calls had also changed. It's no longer Lo and I, it's no longer me. But me and my brother. That way, Micah felt closer to Gavin. There were no more restrictions like before because of Gavin's cold attitude.

"Once upon a time drinking coffee was okay as well. Would you mind rasain kopiku, Kha?"

Micah shook his head strongly. "No. That bitter coffee. The coffee guy's got a lot of sugar just a little bit. I don't want to, ah."

"Zobain. You'll like it later." Gavin forced Micah. Pushing his still half-filled cup softly before Micah.

"No, Brother Gavin. It's bitter."

"It is precisely the bitter that is delicious. Besides, for my sister there is no bitterness. It's so sweet to drink it while you look."

"That's a big deal, Father."

Gavin laughed at hearing that. At once saw the face of Micah who looked wrong to hear his chatter.

Seeing Gavin's laughter, Micah was stunned. Micah had almost never seen Gavin laugh. He just realized it.

What was Gavin made of until he rarely laughed? Micah thought hard. Thoughts that will only waste their time because it doesn't seem important.

With some hesitation, Micah drank a little of the coffee Gavin gave him. His frowning frowned feeling bitter in his mouth. The first time Micah had tasted coffee this bitter.

"Again" said Gavin.

Micah shook. "No, Brother. It's so bitter."

"The second one won't be this bitter. Enjoyed, Kha."

"So, I'm not giving you a healthy drink, yeah. People don't like it, really, still forced."

Gavin laughed again. "No. Oh, just occasionally."

Micah did it again. It's true what Gavin said. The coffee he drank was not as bitter as the first one when Micah tried to enjoy it.

The smell is also fresh and soothing. Micah inhaled his scent deeply with his eyes closed.

"Where?"

"Better," Micah answered, which made Gavin smile.

The busyness of Micah's parents makes them rarely meet and spend time like tonight. Feni and Wira are both busy working. They are busy developing two big companies in different fields.

"Where are you interning, Micah?" ask Feni in the middle of the dinner.

Feni's question made Micah speechless. All this time no one knew where Micah was apprenticed other than Gilang and Gavin himself. Also Sena was Micah's best friend and Micah's old friend who was also apprenticed there.

"In Gavin's office, Ma," Micah replied quietly. He no longer knew what reason to reason if he still hid where he was apprenticed.

"Why not in Gilang's office? Mama's office could also. Your father-in-law's office can do it too."

"In Kak Gavin's office it's the same, too, Ma. There even Micah does his real work. Later if you go to the office of Papa or Mama, or to the office of Papa Anton, who there Micah even arbitrarily there. My son has an office, anyway. Micah was very busy at that time, Ma. Internship time is near, but Micah has yet to get an office. Thought of going to Gavin's office maybe he'd help. Uh, totally welcome, dong." Micah made up stories. To make both parents believe the reason.

"Why not in Gilang's office?" suhut Petra made Micah silent for a moment.

Micah glanced at Gilang who seemed reluctant to help Micah give an answer. The proof, he was still engrossed with a plate of rice in front of him.

"Same Papa knows we're still newlyweds. Still hot. If Micah was apprenticed there, you would know what happened. Yeah, right, Brother?" Micah asked Gilang for support.

Gilang nodded and smiled. "Yes, honey," he replies pretending to be friendly. "What Micah said was true, Ma, Pa. I'm actually happy that Micah is in my office. But I like to get out of control when I'm near Micah."

Micah almost spewed out his guts after hearing Gilang's disgusting words. But Micah pretended to smile shyly for the sake of perfecting a charade.

"Oh, newlyweds, yeah, Pa."

The little laughing hero. "Yes it's okay" he said, making Micah exhale with relief. "Wherever you intern, it's important that you keep working with your heart. It must be good."

"Yes, Pa" answered Micah.

Now there are only two parents who do not know this. Hopefully, both parents can help Micah to explain this if they meet Gilang's parents. Micah no longer had to bother telling the fakes he had made.

"Ma?"

"Hm."

"Which Mama and Papa see from my relationship and Gilang now what?"

"You're happy. You guys seem to love each other. Mama's glad you finally got this match so well you can love each other now."

Micah laughed a little. It turned out that her parents were insensitive to what was actually emanating from Micah's two eyes. Lips can lie. But the gaze of the eyes never lies if they can be sensitive just a little.

"Mikha can ask, Ma?"

"Can."

"Gavin is Gilang's sister, yes, Ma. Why wasn't it Gavin who was betrothed to Micah?"

"Why ask that? Don't tell me you like Gavin because you're in the same office with him. Move if it's like that."

"Ih, Mama. I don't mean it."

"Keep what?" sahut Feni was impatient.

"I mean Gavin, right, older than Gilang. Why did Gilang marry first, not Gavin? Kan, he said he can't step over an unmarried sister."

"Oh, that..." Feni breathes a sigh of relief. He almost freaked out that Micah liked Gavin. "Gavin didn't want to be betrothed. He said he had a girlfriend. Because of your grandfather's will, you must marry into Anton's family, and live in Gilang alone at that time. Yeah, you're finally getting set up."

Micah digested every utterance that came out of his mother's lips. Micah hesitated, is that really the story?

If indeed Gilang was alone at that time, why after this marriage happened he did not try to accept this marriage?

Trying to love Micah was not done. But neither will divorce Micah. Actually, what is Gilang planning for Micah?
