Being Queen in the Hands of Sister-in-law

Being Queen in the Hands of Sister-in-law
Part 7's

A bouquet of chocolates was on Micah's table. Micah who had just arrived was already invited to play a puzzle. Who put that chocolate on his desk?

(Pict from pinterest)

From a secret fan, huh? Ah, who am I until there's a secret fan of all?

Who is it, dong? The employee here? No one knows me very closely.

It is also not possible that this is from Gilang.

Or this is from Kak_

"Have you come, Kha?"

Micah turned his head when he heard Gavin's voice. He came to disperse the daydream of Micah who was busy thinking about who the chocolate giver was.

"Don't like chocolate?"

"Huh? Oh, this is from Gavin's sister?"

Gavin nodded. "So my brother is trying to open a business with bouquet making services. And cobain fun. Thank goodness you like it."

Micah's slightly happy face turned slightly irritated. He put the bouquet back on the table. "Oh, just a prank. Thank you, yes," he said withstanding the frustration.

He was happy to get that chocolate. But suddenly feeling upset himself when Gavin said that it was just a fad.

"Why?"

Micah shook. "Nothing. Kak Gavin's ten-hour schedule with colleagues from Malaysia" said Mikha by focusing his views on the agenda book that has written Gavin's schedule for the next month.

Gavin who noticed Micah's change smiled slightly. Not that he didn't realize his mistake. But to him, seeing Micah's visibly irritated face was fun. Micah looked even more adorable with her pouting lips. And his little words judes.

Ah, apparently Gavin could not forget his admiration for the girl but the man's wife. He was seven years below. But it did not diminish the feeling that was slowly growing in his heart.

"Sir Gavin still has something to talk about? If you don't want to let Gavin's brother get out of here."

"It's rude of you to have an office."

Hearing him, Micah sighed violently. "Yes already. It's up to Brother Gavin where he wants," he relented.

Gavin immediately positioned himself. Sitting in the chair in front of Micah's table. He stared fixedly at Micah whom Gavin knew Micah was trying to stay focused on his work.

The proof is that Micah glanced at Gavin many times and would have misbehaved if their views met.

"Sir Gavin if you don't want to go back to the sister's room, just mending me who sat in the sister's chair. Brother's changing here."

"Can. Please. Who knows, someday that chair will be yours too."

Micah. His hand stopped writing after hearing Gavin's ambiguous speech.

"Oh, aamiin, deh. Hopefully one day I can buy this company to continue sitting in Gavin's chair, yeah."

Gavin laughed. "Aamiinu. And aamiin is also to hopefully others. Titip aamiinku for each of your prayers. For every thing you say," he replied, making Micah even more confused.

"What did he say, anyway? It's not clear" Micah said slowly as Gavin left Micah's room.

"Mikha?"

Micah widened his eyes looking at the figure standing before him. This was never thought of before even though he had already prepared a series of questions that would definitely be given to him.

"Ma? H-hi, Mama. How are you?" greet Micah with a stammer. His heart was beating fast. Trying to neatly prepare the temple after temple that he had arranged in his brain.

"Mama's good, honey. Why is it here?"

Micah smiled faintly. "Em, Micah interns here, Ma?"

"Really?" Yunita's reaction was no less surprised.

Micah nodded in confirming.

"Why is it here?"

"That time was short, Ma. Time to find an internship."

"Kan, there's Gilang's office if it's tight."

Yunita laughed and shook her head. "It's okay once in a while, right?"

"If Silang Gilang, he can't, Ma, if only once."

"Really?" Yunita widened her eyes.

It felt like Micah wanted to slap his own lips. Had it not been for his charade to go perfectly, Micah would not have said the shameful thing.

Micah nodded firmly. "Yes, Ma. That, deh."

"Yes already. But comfortable working here?"

"Oh, comfortable, Ma."

"Gavin's good?"

"That's fine, Ma. Despite the sheer amount of work, Gavin likes to make her breathless."

"What are you talking about?"

Gavin came out of his room and interrupted Micah's words.

"Eh, no, Brother. No talking about anything."

"Back of work there!"

"Yes, Brother. Ma, I work again, yeah. Bye Dear Mama."

Micah kissed Yunita's cheek without hesitation. To her, Yunita was just like her own mother. No need to be awkward and from the beginning it was easy to familiarize yourself.

***

Yunita sat down gracefully on the chair opposite Gavin. The fifty-year-old woman looked at her son. Noiseless since he started to sit himself on the chair.

Even though it had been five minutes, the two of them were still silent to each other without a word being said.

"What do you mean by accepting Micah here?" Yunita opened her voice.

"He who came alone here," Gavin replied expressionlessly.

"You can reject it."

Gavin's quiet. Yeah, correct. Gavin could have rejected it. But Gavin doesn't want to do it because Gavin wants to be close to Micah. Letting Micah be in one house with Gilang alone made Gavin think day and night. Getting the chance to get closer to Micah, he certainly would not be wasted.

"You still love him?"

Gavin was silent. Not to justify Yunita's words, nor to deny them. Without asking and the son-in-law answers from Gavin was actually Yunita already knew what was in Gavin's heart. Gavin still loves Micah.

Gavin falls in love with Micah the first time Micah and his family come to Anton's house. About eight months ago.

But Gavin must harbour his feelings because Gilang will soon be Micah's husband.

At that time, Gavin did not come to Micah and Gilang's wedding. Gavin prefers to keep himself busy in the office without caring about what events are being held by his parents.

During the night, Yunita enters Gavin's room and finds Gavin fast asleep with a picture of Micah in his hand.

Yunita is disappointed, but can do nothing but ask Gavin to stop loving Micah because Micah is the wife of Gilang, Gavin's own sister.

"Mama told you, Gavin. Stop loving Micah. She's your sister's wife. And you've seen, haven't you, how much the two love each other?"

Gavin smiled cynically. Laughing in my heart what Yunita had just said. Not knowing that Micah cried yesterday in Gavin's arms asking Gavin to help Micah part with Gilang.

"Mom seriously, Vin. Forget Micah. Don't expect to take Micah from Gilang."

"If I had taken Micah from Gilang, it would not have been comparable to what Gilang had taken from my life, Ma."

Yunita's heart was like a knife. It hurts to see Gavin who is still holding his wound until now. "You still can't forget it, Gavin?"

"I'll never forget, Ma."

Gavin is trying to get his focus back on work. But Yunita's arrival made her mood today fall apart. It wasn't Yunita that he hated. But the discussion that Yunita opened made Gavin not want Yunita's arrival this time.
