Chapter 40 Vivianne Go

BRAK!!

Viviane and Tania who were hugging while crying were shocked and turned their gazes towards the door that was forcibly opened.

" Vi? Are you Okay? I heard a commotion at your doorstep. Is that Andrew? Right, Dia? He didn't hurt you, did he?" Frantic and worried Bryan took a peek into Vivianne's body.

Vivianne simply shook her head, and their embrace slipped.

" Thank God! Alhamdulillahot. I think Andrew's here to apologize for what he did, but he's making a scene. You know I won't tell you where!"with a look of annoyance Bryan clenched both of his hands.

" Tan, sorry can you come out for a minute? There's something I want to talk to Bryan. Just a minute, Kok!" vivianne said without responding to Bryan's complaint.

Tania, come closer and softly slowly say, "Vi? You certain? Please control your emotions, Vi! Pity the baby in your belly, if you continue like this." 

Vivianne smiled at her best friend and said softly anyway, "I know what I'm doing. Don't worry!" 

" Ok! I'm trusting you!" he hugged her again and walked towards the door.

Bryan seemed confused to see Tania's departure and looked at Vivianne.

" What do you want to talk about, Vi?" Bryan approached Vivi's bed.

Vivianne smiled again, "Sister, come closer."

Bryan came back as Vivianne wished and leaned towards Vivianne.

" What do you want to say.." 

THE PLAQUE!!

Vivianne slapped Bryan's cheek. The unprepared Bryan was surprised and touched his cheek with one of his hands.

" What are you doing, Vi?" bryan said in a slightly loud voice.

" What did Brother say? I think it's worth it Brother got! How you, Brother! You know all this, right? And my brother agreed? Brother is no better than Andrew!" Vivianne stopped then took a deep breath.

"I think big brother is different! I thought, Brother my friend! My best friend! But no! You guys are the same! You rich boys who like to play with poor and innocent girls like me! What do you get from this bet, huh? Satisfaction?"returned say. 

Vivianne started to sob a little, she could barely finish her words. But by looking up at the sky he returned.

"Sister is more ruthless than Andrew! At least he's not pretending! He admitted everything even though it hurt to me! But, brother.Sister my friend! But you also close your eyes and participate in the bet? Huh! How pitiful you are Vivianne! Very sad! Hahaha.." Vivianne shook her head while laughing full of sadness.

" Vi! Listen to me, my explanation. That's not the case, Vi!" Bryan was about to hold Vivianne's fingers, but Vivianne's hand was raised so that Bryan pulled his hand back.

Bryan took a breath and exhaled it. 

" I did know and was wrong in this. But believe me, Vi! From the start I refused, and Andrew and Alex made you their target. I even persuaded Andrew to let you go! By giving him understanding so that he can choose the appropriate heart. I'm wrong! I thought Andrew would give up, and express his feelings to you! But apparently, he prefers to lie to his heart. Vivi, believe me, if I knew Andrew would be like this, I'd have stopped him a long time ago and not opted to back down!" bryan said with a look of regret.

" Revert?" Vivianne was confused by Bryan's words.

" Well, back off to get near you. Back off to chase you! Retreat so as not to make you my lover and snatch you from Andrew! Don't you know? If I like you so much, Vi! I love you, Vi! But I know, your heart chose Andrew and I think Andrew loves you too! So I'm backing down for your happiness! But the truth is.I was wrong! I was wrong, Vi!" Bryan shook his head. His gaze was full of deep regret.

" Why didn't you say it from the beginning? Why didn't you tell me about this bet? Why?" vivianne is back.

" Because I'm Andrew's best friend, Vi! He's my friend after all! You've been friends since you were a child! There's no way I'm betraying him!" bryan shouted a little.

Bryan was a little surprised, he took a few steps back.

Bryan's down. Look at the floor below. One tear dripped. He seems to know he was wrong.

" I'm sorry Brother, Vivi! I'm sorry.." Bryan began to shed his tears again while staring sadly.

"Easy! Thanks for the fake friendship, brother! I was quite happy then. Unfortunately, everything is just an illusion. A complete lie! Go,Sister! I don't need help, Brother! I don't want to see Andrew, Brother or Alex! You're all the same! And thank you for the help. But enough to get here! I have no business with you guys!"vivi said with hurt.

" But, Vi? Please don't break our friendship. Brother does not want! At least let brother help you, be by your side. Maybe this is all you can do to make up for all your mistakes! Please.please give me a chance to make up for it!"bryan said as he took Vivianne's fingers forcibly despite Vivianne's muttering and carried her to his chest, pleading.

Vivianne who kept on revolting took a deep breath many times, "Deliver, Brother! Don't make me hate you!"

Bryan who heard it let go of his grasp.

" Please Vi, you can forgive Brother, can't you?" Bryan continued to try, pleading with increasingly reddened eyes to hold back his pace of tears.

" I don't know! I can't right now! My heart hurts too much! I believe in Brother! But brother betrayed me! By letting this happen, it means that brother has hurt me! But someday I'll try! Go,Sister! Let me alone!" tania refused to look at Bryan.

" Vi…" 

" Go, Brother! There's nothing more we can talk about. It's all over. Our friendship ended when my sister hurt me." Vivi said without turning her head.

" Alright,Vi! I can only hope that one day you can forgive my mistake! Take good care of yourself! Because I can't take care of you anymore! I will pray for you from far away! Again forgive me, Vi! May you find your happiness. I'm pampering. Assalamualaikum!" bryan said lethargic.

" Ofraight!" vivi replied without looking at Bryan.

Before long, the sound of heavy steps a man stepped. Stopped for a moment, and again the sound of footsteps grew farther away.

And the sound of the door closing was heard.

Vivi cried, crying over the fate that befell her. Betrayed her lover, even someone she admired, someone she trusted. Someone who makes him comfortable speaking anything. Friend, brother, Bryan.

" Why the hell, brother lied to me? Sis! Hik Hik...mis it me, are you the same? Because I'm just a poor girl? Plain girl? So you can easily play with my feelings? Am I so low and worthless in your eyes? Oh Allah..why? Why should I accept all this? Have no pity on me who is just this Orphan, O Allah?" Vivi was crying the firmer her body was shaking so violently.

Tania came in and saw her friend who was crying so much and walked up to her while stroking her back.

" Vi? Everything's gonna be OK! You still have me, Vi! Cry if it makes you calm!" tania said, who followed sadly.

" They're all evil, Tan! They're evil! No Andrew, Bryan, Alex! All are evil just like me! I'm disappointed Tan! I don't want to be here, Tan! I want to go home! I'm going home!" said Vivianne who began to pull out the hose infusion and grimace for a moment and began to go down under her bed.

" Vi, but you're still weak! You're still sick!" said Tania panicked and hugged her friend's almost shaky shoulders.

" I'm not sick, Tan! My body doesn't hurt! My heart is sick! If you won't take me! Let me go home by myself!" vivianne said it was getting impatient.

" Ok! We're going home! Go home to me or you?" Tania gave up she put Vivianne on her jacket and cleaned up her gear. Looks like they have to go home quietly this time.

Vivianne shook her head. " I want to go home to the orphanage, Tan! I miss Mother!"

"What?"
