A branch or branch was broken, and both Andrew and Vivianne fell while shouting their names.
Andrew tried to hug Vivianne tightly so that Vivianne would not be knocked down and badly injured. They rolled around long enough. Until Andrew's embrace unconsciously released.
"SISTER!!"
"LIVE!!"
They rolled down where there was a flowing river below. In the darkness of the night, Andrew tried to find a grip to hold his weight but was in vain because his hands were too slippery as the rain started to fall slowly. They rolled back until they finally stopped for a moment before reaching the river. And they fainted.
I don't know how long they've been unconscious. Their bodies were not only wet with rainwater but also dirty with mud or soil when they rolled earlier.
Suddenly there was movement from one of them and it was Andrew. Andrew slowly began to wake up from his stupor. Holding his head which was heavy and painful. His back even his whole body was also hurting. It was fortunate that he had tightly hugged Vivianne so that their movements when they fell were not too tight, and this at least lightened the wounds they would receive.
Andrew kept trying to hold his head while trying to get up to sit down. Hand's empty. "Where's Vivianne? Didn't I just hug her so tightly that she wouldn't get hurt?"
Although a little difficult because of the rain, Andrew tried to sharpen his gaze. Instantly he trembled when he saw Vivianne who was below him, on the lip of the river. Andrew tried to get up but the slippery ground made him slump down by force. His back hurt, but he didn't care.
He limped closer to Vivianne to see her condition. Andrew tried to look up the cliff. Fortunately, the cliff side here is not too steep, but enough to make anyone who jumped here could have died or been seriously injured if they did not have a strong enough physique.
Andrew saw Vivianne's condition. He was injured, one of his jeans Vivianne wore opened and from there came fresh blood like he had been torn into something when he fell. Andrew opened his shirt so that the top was open at this time. He tore off some of his clothes and ran towards the river to just soak some of his torn clothes with river water. He cleaned Vivianne's right leg wound and bandaged it with another piece firmly to reduce the flow of blood that continued to flow.
Afterwards, she approached Vivianne and hugged her while patting her cheek resuscitated her.
"Vi! Vivi..Wake, Vi!" andrew panicked a little.
Not moving, then Andrew did not give up. Try to get back to wake him up. "Vi! Vivi..Wake up, baby. Please wake up!" he said with a sobbing seeing Vivianne's miserable condition worse than he was.
Suddenly lightning struck, along with a flash in the dark sky. Andrew looked up, "It looks like the rain is going to get heavier, I'm afraid the storm is coming. How'this? Did I try to carry Vivi, huh? But where? Where am I taking her so Vivi can take shelter? His condition is not good if it continues like this. He's gonna have a fever. And shit! Why does it have to get colder, huh?" Andrew continued to grieve their situation.
Until his gaze looked to the right when lightning struck and it looked like there was a cliff that jutted deeper, like a cave. It was about less than a meter away from his current place.
Andrew looked happy, "Well, there! Exactly right! That I can make for shelter tonight, hopefully help will arrive soon. May Alex and Bryan read my message before I search for Vivianne and realize we disappeared long enough to look for us. Well, hopefully!"
With a little strength, Andrew tried to carry Vivianne but her body was also too weak. Finally, he tried to hook Vivianne's hand onto her shoulder and drag their steps slowly, step by step feeling heavy and long. Though their distance is not too far, but the condition of those who are injured makes the distance felt very far.
With patience at last, Vivianne and Andrew arrived at their destination. Andrew put Vivianne in the deepest place so that the cold of the night and the slope did not hit his body too much. Especially when it is raining heavily, of course, making the air cooler.
Andrew panted himself a little. In the cave, for a moment he poured his body to rest.
Andrew racked his brain and finally decided to go out looking for something. He took out his backpack, thankfully he thought of carrying it. Otherwise, somehow their fate was at this moment. He took out a bottle and looked at it. "Ah, just a little! I'm thirsty, Vivi must be too!" Finally drink some of the water and put it back in the bag. The cold of the night was not heeded. He came out looking for branches of small branches, after enough he brought it back into the cave where Vivianne was.
Back, Andrew took something and he felt sure to keep a lighter for him smoking earlier. "Alhamdulillah! Found it!"
He tried to light the bonfire he made but failed until the experiment several times finally succeeded. Maybe because the twig had been exposed to rain water so it made it wet and difficult to make a campfire. After quite a light, he decided to bring himself closer to the campfire and put his palm there.
Andrew approached Vivianne, "Vivi, are you awake? Vivi?"
Vivianne was still closing her eyes, but her lips were soft. "A-water…"
"You thirsty? Waita minute!" Then Andrew came to his bag and picked up a bottle of water.
"Are you strong enough to wake up?" andrew asked Vivianne, who opened her eyes and stared blankly.
However, Vivianne still listened to Andrew's voice and shook her head.
"All right, I'll help" Andrew said, hugging Vivianne's back.
"Aww!" shouted Vivianne weakly.
"What pain? I'm sorry, I'll slow the movement down" Andrew said worriedly.
Slowly, Andrew made Vivianne lean over his shoulder and sit down. Then, give him the rest of the water that only a little left.
Vivianne drank it slowly until the water ran out. "Are you still thirsty? Hungry up? I only have a few biscuits, but enough to prop up our stomachs so as not to get too hungry. I'm afraid you're catching a cold and getting a fever."
Vivianne just nodded. Andrew took two biscuits out of his bag. That was all he had and gave one to Vivianne. Andrew's habit is that he doesn't really like snacking, so even if there is, it's just as a distracting friend if he's lazy to smoke.
"Wait a minute, I'll get you some water!" Andrew put Vivianne leaning against the wall and ran out.
Andrew returned with a bottle full of river water. The river is quite clear, so it is at least enough to hold their thirst temporarily until the morning. This is what can be done.
Andrew handed the water to Vivianne, Vivianne received it and drank it. Andrew was about to eat his biscuits but he saw Vivianne as if she was swallowing her saliva. He finally smiled.
"Take it!" Looking at Vivianne who was still hungry, Andrew gave her his share.
"Sister, how?" ask Vivianne.
"No need to worry, I'm still full after dinner last night before looking for you" Andrew lied.
Vivianne nodded and picked up the rest of the biscuits. "Thank you."
"Together" said Andrew.
Vivianne shook her head. "It's not the food."
Andrew looked at her confusedly, "Then?"
