Chapter 55 Men From the Past

Vivianne continued to move her feet towards the exit of the Mall, unheeded even though her legs felt weak and almost unsteady. Many times Vivianne staggered and ended up bumping into people along her journey. He also had a chance to almost fall because of tripping, whether tripped by what. He's not sure either. 

He did not care, even when Avan started to feel uneasy, Vivianne ignored him. The goal is only one, get out of there as soon as possible. He did not want to meet someone from his past. He's changed all his looks, but somehow someone still recognizes him. 

Vivianne called for a taxi with a huff, and stomped her feet as it started to get impatient. 

Vivianne began to think no.

If he was here, his friend would be here too. Oh my God, what is this? Why after all this time he was in Jakarta, why is it only now that he met Alex? Well, the guy he hit was Alex's closest friend to Andrew. Someone he wanted to forget, he vanished from his mind and heart. 

Last thing he knew they were moving overseas. Melbourne continues its education.

And why would Vivianne know? That's because the Mother had forced him to find Andrew to hold Andrew accountable a few weeks after Vivianne was able to tell the Mother calmly. And the Mother forgave him. And when Vivianne gets to the campus the scary news happens.

Andrew had gone from there with his friends to the Outer Country. And this is what made the Mother had fallen ill, and Vivianne more injured. They could have left Vivianne without a burden.

"Why is he here, now? If Alex is here, then that means.Andrew is here too!  Have they returned to Jakarta? God, don't let me meet them. Especially with Andrew! Nah! I'll avoid it if I meet him. But I hope I hope not!" before long Maya and Mommy appeared beside Vivianne by holding her chest. 

" Mom! Ohsh! Ohsh! What the hell is it? Why don't we go shopping?" said Maya who was still panting because she had run after her sister for fear of losing her track in the Mall is very wide.

" Hmm. Nothing. Fatigued,May! Tomorrow, the Mother must wake up early because she has to attend the graduation with Mother! Mother must also be tired, we better go home. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we can shop again." Vivianne said without looking at Maya because the taxi she called had reached the lobby.

" Oh…! Yes, it's up to you" said Maya who was a little disappointed.

While the Mother only looked at her child with a suspicious face.

" May, you go in first, Mother too, huh? Let Mbak in front," said Vivianne while opening the taxi door.

One by one they began to enter, starting with Maya, then the Mother. But when the Mother was about to enter she looked at Vivianne while whispering, "You should explain it to Mother later tonight! What the hell is it! Here let Avan's a fat mother."

" No need, Bun. Avan seemed exhausted, in a slumber, "reject Vivianne subtly 

" Remember Mother's message earlier!" said the Mother.

Vivianne could only exhale her coarse breath. Her mother is indeed sensitive, she knows Vivianne the most. Of course he knew, something was bothering Vivianne.

After the Mother entered perfectly Vivianne closed the taxi door for rear passengers perfectly. Vivianne hurried to open the front taxi door. But his steps came to a halt when he heard the voice of someone, someone he wanted to avoid.

"No! It must be just an illusion!, Yes, the time I heard his voice here, Hahaha.." he laughed softly.

But the voice was getting clearer, like talking to his cell phone.

" Yes, Lex? Lo, I just got here! Lo where? Don't tell me you're the same girl! Males knows I met him! Hypocritical girl!And, please tell me this is important! Otherwise, I will be mad at you! In the middle of a meeting when you call me!" said that person.

Vivianne turned her head towards the right and how surprised she was when she saw that someone from her past. He raised his mask higher so nervous he did not want the person to recognize him.

" In-him?" vivianne. He still looks very handsome and more mature now. 

"But is that really him? Andrew?" vivianne said softly with lips that felt trembling.

While the man she feared was getting closer and closer while Vivianne's legs were as numb now, rigidly unable to move. 

He tried his hardest to move. Her footsteps were broken. He tried to reach the front of the car door, but he slippage seemed to be too slippery. Vivianne was dazed to the back she held tightly to Avan when she was about to fall down. He just hoped Avan wouldn't get sick because he wouldn't let her.

Mother also came out of the rear passenger door because she heard the cry of her son. He was frozen and could only see the extremely fast event happening. His son is at stake for his life.

" Loh, I'm not hurt? Oh, my God, thank you. I survived! Thank you God." Vivianne muttered softly.

" Mrs, is madam okay, Kan? You okay?" someone spoke behind him.

And he looked back at the sight of a big hand hugging his shoulder so as not to fall. That's why he didn't feel any pain.

The man helped her up and stood beside her. Vivianne tried to duck. But the man looked down like he was looking for his face.

" mrs? You hear what I said?" returned say.

" Ah, Yes! S-I'm fine. Thank You!" in a hurry Vivianne immediately opened the car door and entered without giving the person a chance to speak.

" Thank you, Son. Sorry we're in a hurry!" said Mother nodded and got into the car.

" Together" he said disconnected.

While Vivianne continued to bow while hugging her child tightly in the car her body shook. His tears started to flow he began to sob in silence.

" Sir! Move, quickly, Sir!" vivianne Kelu.

" You okay, son? No one's hurt, right?" Mother said with worry.

Vivianne just nodded her head, but then shook her head.

Mother grew worried and tried to advance her body towards Vivianne who was sitting in front. And hugged her shoulder, and broke Vivianne's cry. Awakened Avan looked at her Auntie who was hugging him tightly.

" Avan sat down with Maya's sister first huh? Sir, please stop for a moment." said the Mother very worried.

" Okay, Bu!" said the driver who had far away drove his car left the Mall was finally stopped pull over.

" May, you're in front of Avan. Vivi you moved to the same back Mother!" said the Mother ordered.

Maya just nods with Avan in her arms and Vivi weakly comes out and changes seats with Maya.

After they moved seats, Vivianne hugged her Mother very tightly.

"Why are you, my boy? You were never like this after that. What the hell is it? What the hell's going on? You know that guy, don't you?" ask the mother who is beginning to suspect.

Vivianne nodded in the arms of the Mother. And Mother gives strength by giving a soft caress on her back.

" May, you know who that is?" ask Mother quietly who can only be heard by the two of them.

" In-dia..Andrew, Bun."

Mother stiffened in Vivianne's arms. " he-andrew? The guy who's been impregnating, you?"

Vivianne nodded weakly again.
