The sun was already shining hot on us when we saw the fort of Banderang city.
From quite a distance away, we realized something was strange. On top of the fortress wall, stood a huge black creature that was none other than a huge gorilla. Looks like the big gorillas have already entered the city. The state of the city is now very bad. The question is, are the city residents still surviving?
Desfi gritted her teeth. “We must be fast.”
We immediately drove the horse as fast as possible. Desfi as an envoy to ask for help from another city, he would not forgive himself if he was late to bring help.
Even for me and Nazdia, the city of Banderang also has many memories after living there for several years. We also know many people are kind to us when we are in trouble.
From Desfi's story, before he left the city, the residents were advised to gather in a building in the middle of the city. The building has a very large garden and is surrounded by iron walls. That place is our only hope.
When we arrived in front of the main gate of the city, it was wide open, but there was no trace of a fight. It seemed like a fight against a huge gorilla was taking place at the northern gate of the city.
As we passed through the gate, all our eyes were stunned in disbelief.
Banderang city contained many high-wall buildings, most of the buildings were already badly damaged, some even flattened with the ground.
Not only that, in the middle of the road, human body parts splattered. The blood began to dry up and the fishy smell of blood could not be avoided.
This scene reminds me of what happened 8 years ago.
Regardless of the scenery around, we continued walking on horseback, there was currently only one place we immediately headed to.
Between happy and sad when we saw the building we were heading to was still surrounded by more than 20 large gorillas. At least we're not really late.
With a quick movement we jumped off the horse and tied it to the iron fence, then ran quickly over the collapsed iron fence.
I prepared my magic book then chose one of the magic with a wide range of attack areas. The magic book opened and I felt it on top of my right palm filled with magic energy. The distance I was standing was close enough to the big gorillas standing. I put my right hand on the ground.
In an instant the straight area before me was covered with ice and made almost all the large gorillas unable to move.
For a moment I observed the situation around me.
The adventurers and the city guards banded together to protect the building behind him, even though life was at stake, visible from some of his friend's bodies lying motionless. But they don't seem to be giving up.
At the very front, stood the young man who was carrying two swords, the sword in his left hand was covered in ice and the sword in his right hand was covered in blazing flames. He looked exhausted and in some parts of his body came out blood. He must be a young man named Rasniar who was previously told by Desfi.
Not wasting the opportunity I made, Rasniar jumped up and then swung his two swords, his body spinning fast. Two large gorilla heads slipped from his neck.
Some of the big gorillas noticed our arrival and pulled their ice-covered legs and hands hard. They ran towards us standing with a loud roar.
Nazdia immediately stood before me, waiting for the attack of the great gorilla with his shield.
Anifsa prepared her arrow and pulled her arrow towards the big gorillas who were running towards us. Five seconds passed, the tip of his arrow was covered in blue-colored lightning. He shot his arrow at the neck of a large gorilla.
Upon arriving before us, a large gorilla swung a large wooden stick towards Nazdia. Nazdia held him in with her shield. Then puncture the spear whose tip was covered with fire, towards the neck that was previously hit by Anifsa. He turned his spear until the neck of the large gorilla was hollow.
One big gorilla fell. There were still 5 large gorillas running towards us.
After seeing Anifsa's lightning arrow strike that wasn't strong enough against the big gorilla, I made him a slab of ice of considerable size. Magic that could only be used by silver and gold ranked adventurers.
"Anifsa, you shot at the part I attacked."
"Good."
I shot a slab of ice towards one of the chests of the great gorilla, seconds later the lightning-covered arrow shot out rapidly towards the chest already injured. The big gorilla fell to the ground.
The three gorillas were already in front of Nazdia, preparing to hit with their big hands with all their might. They roared loudly.
Nazdia calmly prepared one of the shielding abilities he possessed. For a physical attack, his shield could reflect all attacks.
Three large gorillas bounced back.
One large gorilla appeared from the side and was faced by Desfi. With a shield in his left hand on the back of fending off the fierce blow from the gorilla, then slashing down with his fire sword.
But the wounds received by gorillas have not been too deep. I shot an ice sheet at the gorilla, then coupled with the attack from Anifsa, the gorilla collapsed to the ground.
There were three big gorillas in front of us.
Nazdia without giving the gorilla a chance to stand up, he unsheathed his fire spear through the armour of the heart of the large gorilla until it did not move.
I quickly shot two slabs of ice at the two remaining gorillas. It was ended by Anifsa and Defsi as the last attack.
After making sure all the big gorillas in front of us did not move, we moved forward, towards the remaining adventurers.
“All who can still fight,” I shouted at the adventurers and the guard troops in front of me. “We attack together.”
They answered with a loud scream. Some of those who had previously looked desperate, once again raised their weapons. With the appearance of the three gold-ranked adventurers, it naturally made the course of the fight turn around.
There are still more than 50 large gorillas scattered throughout the city. Some of them were still standing on top of the fort walls, then jumped into a house and destroyed it.
The sound of screams still rang out in the corner of the city, it seemed like not all the residents of the city had gathered here yet. Whether it was the townspeople or the adventurers or the guards who were still fighting. The thing to do now was to defeat all the remaining gorillas in front of us.
Once again I froze the hands and feet of the great gorillas with my magic so that they could not move.
"Groan!" I shouted as loudly as possible.
