Black Ball

Black Ball
Chapters 2. About Gold Coins

Time is 22.13.

I stared at the ceiling of the room, thinking about many things. The black ball is already above my right hand, I am ready to continue living my life as a young man with Rizkal.

Although I know changing habits does take a long time, but I have tried little by little.

Like I did today, I'm working on all school PR for tomorrow.

Usually I do PR in class in the morning, of course by looking at the work of friends. That's easier, right? Compared with struggling to think about a problem that is not necessarily able to answer it. I always thought that way.

But today, after living a life filled with sadness. I feel that doing PR is much easier than defeating a powerful monster, even life is at stake.

Of course I also did not forget the daily quest in a game that was like my obligation every day. I took it as entertainment after working hard on PR. Even when I did, I didn't feel as enthusiastic as usual.

I sighed softly.

I remember now I still don't have a cell phone.

Every night, before I go to bed I open a social media app. Even if I couldn't sleep that day, I could stare at the phone screen until morning. And in the end I was late for school.

But tonight was different, even though I couldn't open the phone, I felt it wasn't a problem. After all, when I think about it again, I don't know the benefits of opening social media, even staying up late.

If I remember it again, in that world there is absolutely no cell phone, and that is not a problem. Maybe because of that, in that world I really feel alive.

I think cell phones make me ignore everything around me.

I closed my eyes, trying not to think about anything else.

When I opened my eyes, the ceiling of the room, made of wood and neatly arranged, filled my vision.

On the right, a wooden window that had many striped holes, the cold morning air entered through the hole. I can even see my own breath.

While on my left, a girl was still fast asleep. I can see her plain face at a very close distance. I can even hear her soft breath.

Slowly, I lifted the blanket and sat watching the girl beside me.

Nazdians. A girl I love so much in this world. If in my real world there was a girl like her, my life would definitely be better.

I sighed softly.

Although I'm not too sure I can find someone like that in my real world. But at least I can feel it in this world.

I nodded and touched the tip of Nazdia's nose.

"Hmm..," Nazdia muttered softly and then changed her position, which was originally facing upwards, now facing towards me.

He's still closing his eyes.

I wanted to touch her one more time, but just looking at her innocent face was enough to amaze me.

I want to see his face in a moment.

Not until I was satisfied to see his face, his eyes began to move and then blinked a few times.

Looking at me who was looking at him, he smiled shyly.

"Rizkal..," said Nazdia slowly.

"... Good morning." Good morning."

"Good morning" he answered and sat opposite me. "Although I also want to see your face while asleep."

"It's a shame."

I smiled broadly. I only realized waking up and looking at the sleeping face of someone I loved, was very happy.

For a while he looked annoyed even though he finally smiled back. He moved his body and then moved to sit right next to me. His right hand hugged my stomach.

"Night I realized something" Nazdia said softly, her head leaning against my shoulder. "Every day we have to make beautiful memories."

"You're right" I replied in agreement with him. "So if you want something, just say it right away, okay?"

Nazdia nodded quickly. "I'll remember."

"But before that, today we have to attend Zazki's funeral."

"You're right."

Today will be the last day we see Zazki.
