Chapters 2. Part 6's

The trip to Risari village, we had no problems at all.

Although several large gorillas were spotted on the way, they chose to walk away from the streets. It's as if the behavior of the great gorillas has returned as it was, like not attacking humans if they are not attacked first.

I observed the surrounding scenery that was almost filled with meadows and hills. Streets made of soil are quite comfortable to pass.

Very different from the scenery around the city of Lorisa which has many large rivers flowing.

I just realized the view in this world is beautiful.

I shook my head slowly, this was probably because I was just always in the room and never noticed in the scenery around me.

As we approached the village of Risari, the land that had previously been filled with grasslands changed with plantation crops, such as wheat and vegetables. Although some of the plants have been damaged after being passed by a large herd of gorillas.

It has been decades since the village of Risari was last attacked by monsters. Usually every few weeks, the Black Forest in the north of Risari village is visited by adventurers and royal warriors to kill the monsters that roam as raw materials for weapons.

However, it was that lately, monsters often behaved unusually. Knowing that, the villagers had already left Risari village and temporarily took refuge in Banderang city. Although in the end the city of Banderang was also attacked and almost destroyed.

A while passed until we finally arrived at Rosari village.

One by one the houses that are built quite far apart are starting to be seen. However, there is something strange in the village of Risari. Right now, the village was completely deserted and without a monster sound was heard. Usually after a village is attacked, some other monsters will start to arrive. Like a big pig or a big mouse one meter tall.

In this world the monsters look similar to the animals in my original world although there are several different parts and their size is larger, between double to ten times larger.

We immediately picked up our weapons and jumped down from the carriage.

I, Nazdia and Anifsa stood at the very front, while the silver adventurers who were coming with us were also on standby behind us.

Liani, the only commoner of Risari village was still silent inside the carriage.

“Come out!” I shouted out loud enough, realizing that someone was hiding.

Moments later, from behind some houses in front of us, two human figures appeared wearing coats that covered his head. They also wear mouth coverings so that only the eyes and forehead are visible. One of them carried a sword and the other carried a spear.

One of them laughed looking at us, a man's voice sounded. “I didn't think you guys could realize our whereabouts.”

There's a rumor.

About the silver or bronze adventurers who died or went missing around the city of Banderang. Upon deeper investigation, they were not attacked by monsters, but rather by someone wielding a fire sword.

There was a conclusion, after hundreds of years of silence, they finally began to move again.

“You're from Siskf kingdom, right?”

The Siskf Kingdom was inhabited by the Siskf race, a race of humans who had scales on their bodies. They have more power than any other human race. Because it borders directly with our kingdom, the human kingdom, we have long been at odds.

They had also always considered the ordinary human race like us to be weak beings.

Again, the man laughed, louder. “Looks like we don't need to hide ourselves anymore.”

The two people in front of us took off their coats and mouthpieces, then threw them aside. They wear pretty revealing clothes and look pretty thin clothes. But because of that we can also see scales on some small parts of their body, such as the hands, feet, neck and some small parts on the abdomen. Even if they pay more careful attention to their eyes look like the eyes of an animal.

“I heard Banderang city attacked by monsters?”

“That's none of your business,” said Anifsa sounding angry, she pulled her bow and then aimed at the man standing quite far in front of her. “What do you guys want?”

“Please first sweet girl.” The man smiled widely. “You should realize that you are the weakest human race in the world. Although you can have offspring quickly, but the weak race will be forever weak. Even a few months in this kingdom, we always meet weak humans.”

“So it is true that you killed our friends?” Anifsa looks angry.

“True, even they are not good enough to entertain us.”

An arrow covered in lightning rushed very quickly towards the man's head. But men easily avoid it. Although the man's body is large and muscular, he has a fast movement.

“Oi..oi...could you tame the girl beside you?”

“What do you guys want?” I repeated Anifsa's question.

“Hmm, let me think.” The man looked at us more closely and for a moment his eyes stopped when he saw some chariots behind us. “Although your city has just been attacked, you decided to come to a dangerous place like this. You guys want to take something in this village right?”

None of us answered, but it also tells the man what he said was true.

“So right. In that case, hand over all your horse carriages and show the items you will take to be.”

“Why should we do that?”

“Of course if you want to live, if not..” said the man still with a big smile. He raised his sword then a few seconds later his sword blazed an enormous flame. Maybe this is the first time I've seen such a fire-burning sword.

The man swung his sword, a huge fire gushed quickly before us.

Nazdia was already preparing in front of us, he was holding back with his shield. The fire from the man's sword disappeared when it hit Nazdia's shield.

“Cih, that cowardly weapon is perfect for the weak human race like you guys.”

“Why are you doing this?” I try to understand the thoughts of the man in front of me. This is the first time Rizkal met the Siskf race, although it has become common for the SIskf race to be obsessed with power. “It is not better if you attack the Black Forest or if it is still not enough, you can attack the Black Lands.”

The man laughed loudly. “You're right, there always appear very strong monsters. Even so, you guys don't deserve to protect a legendary weapon."

"Although your kingdom also has two legendary weapons."

"Of course it's not enough."

"So no matter what happens, you will attack the human kingdom?"

With a big smile, he nodded then pointed the tip of the sword towards us.

"In that case, we'll stop you here."

I started to create small ice slab creation magic. Even if I knew magic like that wouldn't hurt them. Plus, the fire sword that belonged to the man looked extremely powerful. But I just want to see the element that the spear girl has.

"Such magic is just a little child's toy to us" said the man deliberately waiting for the magic I made to be finished.

Then…

Dozens of small ice slabs had formed but I did not stop the creation of my ice magic. Until finally hundreds of ice slabs were created on my head.

"Hmm, looks like you guys aren't the weak humans we used to meet."

I swung my right hand, as soon as the slab of ice I had created drove at high speed towards the two people before me.

The man with a confident face, swung his sword, the ice slab I made instantly disappeared when it hit his fire sword.

But like my original goal, the girl next to him had to use her spear, repelling all my ice attacks. He turned the spear in his hand very quickly. Without a single piece of ice I've passed his spear.

The wind, at least not the fire.

"This is all?" said the man after hundreds of ice sheets headed towards him stopped and did not hurt him at all.

"Alright, I'll fight the girl with the spear."

"Be careful" Nazdia replied in front of me.

"I see, we're gonna beat that guy fast." Anifsa took out her arrow weapon ability, twenty seconds later her arrow began to shine.

I also started making other creation magic, three large chunks of ice that moved slowly around me, began to form. It was defense magic. This magic takes 15 seconds.

Not willing to wait any longer, the man and girl before us swung her sword and spear together.

One blaze and two x-shaped wind slashes headed towards us. The fire that had previously been very large, this time got bigger with the help of the girl's wind.

Nazdia used her shielding ability, golden light enveloping all around us. The fire attack belonged to both of them, once again being easily held back by Nazdia.

"Switch, coward."

Right after their fire attack disappeared, a thin mist appeared between us.

I made a small and medium-sized sharp ice slab magic on top of my head. To be honest I don't have effective ice magic against opponents with speed.

You could say that the ice magic I had was aimed at defeating a big and powerful enemy, not a small and fast opponent like the two people in front of me.

"All right, let's move forward."

I moved to the side, away from Anifsa standing, while Nazdia ran towards the man with her fire sword.

"If you want it like that" said the man. "Maluna, you're dealing with a man with a magic book."

Maluna nodded then ran towards where I was standing.

There are several reasons I dare to fight an enemy that I do not yet know its power. The first reason is that they have never fought a gold-ranked adventurer and the second is that if we lose against them, it means that their strength is very dangerous for the human kingdom. Although the two of them looked not someone the strongest in Siskf kingdom.

I attacked with the sharp ice slab I had created, as I expected, Maluna was too fast and easily dodged some of my ice attacks. But I did deliberately not shoot all the ice that had been created. There were still over 10 ice sheets on top of my head.

I'm waiting for the right time.

After dodging some of my attacks, Maluna leapt forward towards me. His spear was enveloped by the wind which made the speed increase. He pointed his spear at my chest.

I moved two chunks of ice around me trying to resist Maluna's spear attack. I moved back under pressure from him. One chunk of ice was pierced through by his spear.

Not wasting a chance, I shot the remaining few slabs of ice towards Maluna's body from various directions. But before hitting it he jumped back with a quick movement.

“Not bad either,” he said slowly. Then he twirled his spear in a beautiful motion. “We'll see how long you've been holding my attack.”

Not long after, he started attacking me again. Puncture from the front and slash from various directions he launched with his spear. Little by little my ice started to erode.

I can't possibly survive like this any longer.

I tried to pay attention to Maluna's attack pattern, but in contrast to the monster the attack pattern was unpredictable. Even shooting my ice sheet at the blind spot didn't work. With a quick movement he was always on the move and attacked me with full force.

The ice chunks that were previously large, have now begun to shrink. His wind spear attack could not be held back completely with the current chunks of ice.

Some of his attacks hit me, creating scratches on some parts of my body.

I shot once again with all the remaining ice sheets.

Maluna jumped back, she smiled sinisterly looking at me. “Have you given up?”

I caught a glimpse of Nazdia and Anifsa still fighting fiercely.

“Alright, I'll start seriously,” I said then create a high-level ice attack magic. The magic book in my left hand moved to open a sheet of paper with a spiked surface.

I raised my right hand, then gradually began to appear the ice point that began to enlarge. This magic takes 10 seconds, so that long I have to survive the attack.

“That's great!” maluna shouted and began to attack me again.

This time I moved backwards avoiding his attack, the ice chunks survived my remaining two and would not last much longer. Other than being more careful about using the remaining chunks of ice, I dodged attacks that I could avoid by jumping backwards or running away.

Until finally a few more seconds until my ice ball magic was created. But before that, Maluna attacked with her remaining strength, piercing with her spear towards my chest.

Two chunks of ice I'm destroyed resisting Maluna's attack, but with that my ice-ball magic is ready for the shot. I aimed the ice ball towards Maluna's chest and also jumped backwards.

Maluna deflected the ice ball with her spear easily. The ice ball shattered and created a haze of ice. But it did not stop there, the spear that was hit by the ice ball immediately froze, as well as his hand that was hit by the ice ball splinters also began to freeze.

"What's…." Maluna jumped back and dropped her spear and started rubbing her cold hands. Even his breathing began to dew.

Without wasting any chance, I made another ice ball magic.

"What are you doing?" maluna shouted at me, her face looking very angry.

"This..," I said, showing the ice-ball magic that began to form over my right hand. "This is a high-level magic, only gold-ranked adventurers can only use it."

"So you're ranked gold" he said slowly and turned his head to see his friend fight. He smiled thinly. "At least…."

Maluna picked up the ice spear lying on the ground, almost all the parts of the spear had already frozen, yet she did not care, she took out her spear and ran towards me at full force.

Unfortunately my ice ball magic is ready to use. Plus Maluna's running speed has decreased drastically.

However with the rest of his strength he had, using his left foot he tried to stand up, once again his spear in the blanket of wind.

I immediately prepared the ice wall magic. This magic takes 2 seconds. Magic energy began to gather in my palm.

He pointed the tip of his spear at me and threw it quickly.

I lowered my head and pressed my hand against the ground, a 45-degree wall of ice immediately formed just before Maluna's spear hit me. His spear flew over my ice wall.

I carefully walked to the side and made two small slabs of sharp ice.

Maluna was sitting in pain watching her leg knees freeze, but just in case, I shot two ice sheets into her hands and could not move.

He screams in pain.

This time he should no longer be able to fight.

Once again, I made a large sharp ice plate, preparing to make a final strike.

Just then I remembered something very important.

Seeing Maluna in pain and her hands bleeding, made me think for a moment. Even though I've gotten used to fighting using Rizkal's body, it's my first time fighting a human.

Even when I remember Rizkal has killed some bad people, such as bandits, robbers or someone who is dangerous to many people.

Would it be okay if I killed someone in this world?

I saw that Maluna who closed her eyes was still enduring the pain.

I turned my eyes to watch Nazdia and Anifsa fight.

With the distance now quite far away, they were still fighting with all their might. Despite fighting two golden adventurers, it seemed like his opponent still outperformed the two of them.

A dangerous man.

Even if he looked closely, the man continued to attack Nazdia relentlessly with his flaming fire sword. Nazdia just survived. He did not even have a chance to strike back with his fire spear.

While Anifsa looks hesitant when shooting his arrows, because the man moves very fast. And the direction of his shot was always covered by Nazdia's body.

I looked at the fight moment and realized something.

Although Nazdia wore complete armor, but the heat of the armor exposed to the fire will still be felt on his skin. He couldn't possibly endure like that continuously.

Realizing that the girl I loved so much felt pain, a feeling of anger rose in my heart. I'm sure it's Rizkal's angry feelings who doesn't want Nazdia to get hurt.

I shot a sharp slab of ice right beside Maluna's body, then shouted at the silver adventurer who was still on standby.

“You guys, tie this girl and cover her wound temporarily, we will find out important information from her.”

“Siap.”

As I walked towards the fight Nazdia was in, I made a high-level magic, a large ice spear.

To Rizkal, Nazdia was the most valuable person in this world, no matter who her opponent was, she would definitely protect Nazdia as much as she could. That was the reason he fought so hard increasing his strength.

He didn't want to see Nazdia cry.

He did not want Nazdia to feel any pain.

He wanted to make Nazdia happy.

All of those feelings I can still feel. A feeling I had never felt before. The feeling of protecting someone valuable. The feeling of pain when I see someone I love suffering. Feeling angry when someone hurts him.

I fired a huge ice spear right after the man jumped back to avoid Anifsa's attack.

The ice spear rushed swiftly, towards the man's body.

Unable to dodge, he held back with his fire sword. He was pushed back and the ice spear was crushed, but the shattered ice spear still accelerated quickly. They made scratches all over the man's body.

“Do not touch, my girl.”

The man endured the pain he received and then observed the circumstances around him. When he saw that his friend was already helpless, he looked very upset.

“Cih, useless girl base.”

I stood beside Nazdia and prepared some large ice plates on top of my head.

“Hei...hei..not that 3 against 1 looks unfair?”

“Although we are the weakest human race?”

The man laughed at my words. “You're right, you guys are quite strong compared to the humans we've been dealing with. Yet there are still many of my races that are stronger than me. With that power now, you guys remain the weakest race.”

“Silent,” shouted Anifsa by shooting three arrows at once towards the head and body of the man. All of his arrows were enveloped in bluish-white lightning and were speeding very fast.

The man jumped up and dodged all of Anifsa's arrows. Without wasting a chance, I also shot three large ice sheets towards the man.

With his fire sword still blazing heavily, he smashed three large ice plates of mine easily. It seemed like only a huge ice spear magic could injure him.

The man sighed in annoyance. “Sweetie, it looks like I have to delay killing all three of you.”

“No I will let.” once again Anifsa shot her arrow, but in vain.

The man laughed. “Not to worry, one day we will meet again. Until then, take good care of yourself.”

For a moment he noticed the surroundings and stopped when he saw Maluna who had been tied up and surrounded by silver adventurers. I moved to block the view of the man staring at Maluna.

The man smiled widely then raised his sword and once again raged a great fire. He twisted his body quickly then swung his fire sword to the ground. An explosion was created and then a thick smoke appeared.

Despite being blocked by smoke, I knew the man was running fast and disappeared behind a house. Then a few moments later the horse's roaring voice sounded.

“Is it okay we let him escape?” Anifsa asked me, the thick smoke has started to disappear.

I'm nodding. “No need, but make sure he doesn't come back here.”

“I understand.” Anifsa immediately ran and jumped on a tree and ended up on the roof of a house. He watched for a moment as someone was speeding his horse.

I was with Nazdia walking towards the silver adventurers were.

"Thankfully you are with us, if not, whether we can defend against them or not" said a man with a face full of relief. He had a sword and a shield in his hand.

The adventurers who were with us numbered 10, with almost all of them carrying swords and shields. One of them was carrying a magic wand, he was a healer among us and had already treated Maluna's wounds, although the wounds on her knees did not look completely healed.

I'm nodding. "We have to hurry, we don't know if they will show up again or not. And make sure you stay alert, there may be enemies still hiding."

"Ready."

After putting Maluna on one of the horse carriages, we started walking towards a warehouse led by Liani.

The warehouse was already half destroyed, but as Liani said, the groceries under the warehouse were still intact as before. The silver adventurers immediately picked up the groceries, while Nazdia and I observed the situation not far from the warehouse. Likewise with Anifsa still jumping from the roof of the house to the roof of the other house, be aware of the circumstances around.

Standing side by side with Nazdia, I began to treat the small wounds of the rest of my fight with Maluna. As Pieria had said, I could feel pain, even though I still had not suffered a fatal wound and proved Pieria's remark about how I would feel no more pain than a scratch.

But even so, the pain of a wound like this had frightened me. I cannot imagine the pain of death.

The magic book on my left hand shone. Just by looking at it, the scratches on the arm part of my right hand began to close, truly a very useful magic. If I can heal like this in my original world, maybe I'm not afraid of being scratched by a knife anymore.

"I'm sorry" Nazdia said suddenly, noticing the wound on my right hand that I was healing. "If I were stronger…."

"You're right, there are still many stronger than us huh?"

If the man's words are correct, we must quickly increase our strength. If you think about it, that man was a scout group from the Siskf kingdom, even fighting the scout group alone had overwhelmed us greatly, I wouldn't be surprised if their main group still had people with greater abilities than the man earlier.

In a world where strength is everything, we must increase our strength as much as possible to protect our loved ones.

I noticed the armor Nazdia was wearing, in some parts there was burning. I touched it slowly.

I breathed a sigh of relief, slightly reducing the worry. Once again, I continued to heal the wounds on my body by occasionally paying attention to the surroundings.

Moments passed until three horse carriages were filled with food, such as wheat, vegetables and fruits.

We immediately left Risari village and headed back towards the city.

On the way, I closed my eyes and called out to Pieria.

Time soon stopped.

Pieria appeared soon.

"Where is it exciting in this world?" pieria asked with a proud smile on her face.

"I don't know what to answer." More precisely between feeling scared and tense. I don't really understand what happened, although one thing is certain, I have absolutely no regrets about doing it.

"I'm sure soon you will be addicted" he said, still smiling widely. "So you want to go back to your real world now?"

I nodded slowly, I felt very tired, maybe it's the right time to go back. "But there's something I want to ask."

Pieria nodded in understanding.

"If I or Nazdia were to die in this world, what would happen?"

"I don't understand your question, if Nazdia dies means to die, if you die you will switch bodies with others."

"I mean if I die, do I still remember Nazdia and meet again?"

Pieria nodded a few times, looking understood. "So that's what you mean, of course you still remember Nazdia, but the memory of someone you entered also has a memory as well. So even if you still remember Nazdia, Rizkal's feelings you won't remember anymore, you won't know why you have to work so hard for Nazdia. Plus, the feelings of the person you are entering will also affect your mind and of course this person also has a loved one as well. You will gain affection for someone new and lose your affection for Nazdia."

I understand every word Pieria says. "So the point is, did Nazdia and I have to stay alive in order to be together?"

Pieria put her hands together, then slowly opened them. Slowly from both of his hands came a very bright light. Because it was too bright I closed my eyes and instantly my consciousness began to disappear.

I immediately sat down and saw the digital clock on the desk showing the number 05.07.

I lowered my head feeling the black ball still in my hand. The world is real. Nazdia, Anifsa and the others. They have a past and a future. They try hard just to live tomorrow.

While I'm here….

I closed my eyes very tightly, wanting to cry.

I shook my head slowly, then turned on my room light. I put a black ball in one of my study desk drawers and then I locked it.

Push up 5 times, squat jump 20 times and sit up 10 times.

I took a deep breath after doing all that, then looked at the digital clock once again. It didn't take 3 minutes, but I never did.

Wh why?

Of course because I think exercise is useless, it is better after waking up directly open the phone and see the latest news on social media, it is more useful right?

I sighed softly.

I went down from the 2nd floor to the bathroom.
