The next day, after eating the breakfast prepared for us, we prepared to head for the adventurer guild. The union officer who had just brought us breakfast asked us to get there immediately.

Although I actually still want to sleep after a hard day's work yesterday. But it is not possible, if you see many residents of the city who are struggling to survive here. 

Then I realized something, there was not a single day Rizkal was lazing around. Very opposite to me. Which is very sad. There is no day without laziness.

Of course as gratitude can feel the life of the young man named Rizkal, I will live as well as possible. Not as my usual self but as a young man named Rizkal.

I hope, in my real world also one day can be like Rizkal.

We walked past many townspeople who were repairing their houses or if they were badly damaged, they were just looking for valuables under their piles of houses.

Living in this world is not easy. If one chose to laze around, his life would definitely not last long.

Even the two little children I saw yesterday on the street, were still looking for valuables in a house that was flattened to the ground.

I decided to greet them.

“What are you looking for?”

The little boy who had a bigger body, turned his head, then looked at me for a while. His hands look a lot of scratches. “That's sir, a coin that has been collected by mom, I'm looking for it.”

“I can help you.”

“Create sir?”

I'm nodding. “Of course if you are sure of the location?”

“Here sir, under this wall, there should be a closet where to store it.”

“Alright, you guys back off.”

I started to lift the rest of the destroyed walls one by one, Nazdia also helped me immediately. Not long after, just as the little boy had said, there was a small wooden cabinet under the rubble of the house that we had cleaned.

The little boy jumped down, then opened the closet with the key he carried. The cupboard was opened and a bag was taken away by the boy. 

He held onto the bag tightly and began to shed his tears. 

"Thank you, sir" he said, kneeling before me.

"No problem and no need to kneel, stand up."

The boy stood up and wiped his tears.

"Once again I thank you for saving this city, sir. If you're ready, even if not how much, will you accept half of this bag?"

I was stunned to hear the small man in front of me. Wh why? Although they had just lost their parents and also lost their homes, but still did not forget about others.

Why are the people of this world compared to me…

Although to be honest, I didn't really save this city, there were even a lot of people who died and were left homeless like them.

"Master?"

"Ahh no need, you keep it, but if I may give you advice, it is better that the coins you hold be kept in the adventurer guild. You can take it little by little from there.”

The little man nodded then kept the pouch under his shirt.

We climbed back up to where the little boy's sister and Anifsa were. Anifsa was stroking the hair of the little girl beside her.

Seeing her brother return, the little girl ran towards him. “Where's sis? Meet?”

Her brother nodded with a smile on his face, then hugged his sister tightly.

“Let's go back to the refuge first?”

“Hmm.” The little girl replied with a sweet smile.

After thanking her once more, the two little ones waved at the three of us then started walking away. Just seeing their hands holding hands tightly while walking, was enough to make me happy as well as sad.

“So, we also have to go immediately to the adventurer union right?” Anifsa looked at me with both hands behind her head.

“Ayo.”

We continued our journey towards the adventurer guild building.

Because of yesterday's incident, the building also suffered quite severe damage, but with the swiftness of the adventurers to repair, the building had begun to be used again.

We immediately entered the adventurer guild and were immediately greeted by Agustio who now served as the guild chairman.

"Yet you come too" said Agustio, allowing to sit in one of the empty seats on a round table.

Inside the guild was still not too crowded, it seemed like adventurers were still helping the townspeople to repair the house or find something in their ruined house.

We sat in one of the available chairs, Agustio also sat in front of us with a woman who was old enough.

"Once again we thank you for saving this city" Agustio said, bowing his head, the woman next to him also following him.

The three of us nodded, no matter how many times we heard thank you.

"But if you're still willing to help once more, we're very grateful."

"What's going on?" I said to Agustio.

"We have just received a letter from the kingdom, they will come with help, both soldiers and food, but it seems to take about 4-5 days to get to this city.

We are not sure of the current stock of food until then, therefore we plan to take stock of food stored in the village of Risari.

Here, Liani's mother as an elder in Risari village, kept the food stock underground. It should still be safe up to now."

Risari village is in the north of Banderang town, where the big gorilla comes from. To ordinary citizens the place was now extremely dangerous, it was not even impossible that there were still some large gorillas hanging around.

"So we were asked to control the food stock?"

Agustio nodded answering my question then bowed his head once more.

I looked at Nazdia and Anifsa alternately.

"Why not?" anifsa told me. "It's still too dangerous for a silver-ranked adventurer to miss Risari ."

"Anifsa is right" Nazdia added.

"Alright, we accept this task."

"Thank you" Agustio and Liani said.

"For the payment…."

"No need to think about it" I quickly cut Agustio's unfinished speech. "In exchange the adventurer guild had to take care of the children who lost their parents, until one day they could protect this city."

Last night I discussed this matter with Nazdia and Anifsa, they did not mind if the task this time was not paid at all.

"All right, I understand." Agustio raised his right hand, not long after the union lady attendant came to our table. "Please prepare the chariot and the adventurers, as planned."

"Good sir." The officer left immediately.

"We've prepared 4 horse carriages and some silver-ranked adventurers, hopefully they can help."

"Thank you" I said to Agustio. "In that case, we retreat first to get ready. We wait at the north gate of the city."

Agustio nodded and we immediately walked towards the exit.
