Chapter 22's

"Si..who are you?" tanya Lirih Yeri, who had just regained consciousness from her old sleep.

Soo Jae who saw Yeri had opened her eyes and smiled warmly at Yeri.

"Kim Soo Jae." Soo Jae replied quietly, "I'll call the doctor to check on you." Soo Jae continued and will press the button near Yeri's bed to call the doctor.

"Doctor? Am I in the hospital?" ask lirih Yeri.

"Yes, you're in the hospital now. I'll call the doctor." Soo Jae replied.

"no need. I'm fine."

"All right." Soo Jae complies with Yeri's wishes.

"Have we met before? Why are you here? I don't know you at all." asked Yeri looking at Soo Jae questioningly.

"Your parents have a job, so I got them to look after you here. And, you can know me now." Soo Jae replied with a faint smile.

"Whatchu mean? My parents? Who are you, actually? What do you mean, get to know you now? Does that mean we didn't know each other before? Then what are you here for?" asked Yeri streak with a confused face.

With a rough breath out of Soo Jae's lips, he massaged the base of his nose because he felt tired of having to answer all the questions that came out of Yeri's mouth.

"Kim Soo Jae, that's my name. We don't know each other, but from now on we will know each other. So stop asking questions, I'm not a bad person." Soo Jae replied with a sigh.

"You just realized but you've talked a lot." moaned Soo Jae.

Yeri who heard that immediately put on a bent face and kept silent without answering or questioning about Soo Jae again.

"What's wrong with me talking so much? You stranger." Yeri's inner self is upset with Soo Jae.

"Why are you silent now? Does your head hurt? You want me to call a doctor?" ask Soo Jae a little worried.

"No I'm fine." replied Yeri a little sniffy.

"You angry?"

"No."

"Basic woman." said Soo Jae, getting upset.

"Yes I'm a woman, you think I'm a man" Yeri replied.

"You had an accident yesterday and you had surgery, but look now. You're talking like you're not a patient."

Yeri's chest immediately throbbed pain when she heard Soo Jae's words. It was as if something was hitting his chest so hard, that it made him feel pain.

"Accident? O-op?" ask lirih Yeri.

Soo Jae who heard that frowned, confused.

"You don't remember, if you had an accident, yesterday?" ask Soo Jae quietly, staring into both of Yeri's sad beads.

"No-no." replied Yeri with a headband.

"I'll call the doctor."

After Soo Jae calls the doctor to check on Yeri, the doctor goes to Yeri's hospital room with the nurse and checks Yeri's condition.

"Miss, are there any complaints you're feeling right now?" ask doctor.

"Just feel a little pain in the head."

"alright. Then is there anything else you feel besides feeling pain in the head?"

"Did I have an accident?" ask lirih Yeri, please,

"You don't remember, if you had an accident yesterday?" ask the doctor.

"No, I don't remember anything."

"You were downstairs to the hospital yesterday, because you had an accident and caused a brain bleed until we had surgery" explained the doctor, "Did you remember your name? Or your family?"

Yeri just shook her head slowly with a sad look.

"Alright, I'll discuss your condition with your guardian later. Excuse me first." said and said goodbye to the doctor.

"Sorry doctor, can you explain it to me?" ask Soo Jae who caught up with the doctor who was already outside Yeri's hospital room.

"Yes, I'm the patient's future husband. How's her condition now? What happened to my future wife, doctor?"answer Soo Jae's lies and ask Soo Jae to know.

"From the patient does not remember himself and the events he experienced. So my diagnosis, the patient had Dissociative Amnesia. Where the patient can not remember anything about himself or the events that the patient experienced." explained the doctor.

"Amnesia?" ask Soo Jae a little in disbelief,

"Yes, it could have happened because the patient had bleeding in the brain, due to a violent impact during an accident and could also have occurred due to trauma or depression" explained the doctor back.

"Depression?"

"Yes, depression can also lead to Dissociative Amnesia." replied the doctor, "If I may know, have the patient ever experienced violence?" ask the doctor.

"What does the doctor mean? Violence?"

"Yes, from the results of the examination on the patient's body there are a number of bruises on the back, neck and also the patient's wrist there are several sharp object incisions."

Soo Jae just kept quiet not answering, because he didn't know Yeri very well. But she must know all of Yeri's conditions by pretending to be Yeri's future husband.

"My future wife was a very quiet doctor and I didn't know if my future wife had an incision wound on her wrist."

"All right, I understand. I will make a schedule to meet with the Psychiatrist doctor, in order to further examine the mental state of the patient." replied the doctor friendly,

"Will my future wife's memory recover, doc?" ask Soo Jae

"Certainly can, by retelling about himself and his surroundings. It can be a trigger for the patient's memory to return, but it must be slowly. Otherwise, the patient may have permanent amnesia."

"Alright, doctor. Thank you." Soo Jae said after the doctor explained Yeri's condition in detail.

The doctor leaves Soo Jae still standing at the door with her mind raging.

"I have to find out the cause of Yeri's accident" said Soo Jae.

The day had changed the night and it was outside in the rain. Yeri and Soo Jae are getting along after 4 hours together.

Soo Jae tells Yeri a lot of things about herself, but Yeri is also a little sad because she can't tell anything about herself because she doesn't remember anything.

Even so, they are now friends and Soo Jae also tells, what is Yeri's name.

"You still need something?" ask Soo Jae quietly after helping Yeri to drink.

"No oppa." replied Yeri with a sweet smile, "Thank you."

"Sama-sama." Soo Jae replied with a shady look.

The two looked at each other deeply, as if they were talking through their eyes. However, they had to cut their eyes off when they heard the sound of the door opening.

"Yeri, dear.. You're sober, honey?" said Ms. Park who had just entered the inpatient room and immediately ran over to Yeri.

"Yeri-a, are you conscious?" asked Mr. Park also who had just entered the room and saw Yeri who was sitting leaning on her bed with a warm hug by his wife.

"Who are you?" tanya Lirih Yeri who is still hugged by Miss Park.

Madam Park slowly released her embrace from Yeri and stared wistfully at the two beads of Yeri.

"You don't remember, dear eomma?" tanya lirih Miss Park.

"Yeri-a, this is appa dear. You don't remember appa and eomma?" ask Mr. Park in a sad tone.

"Sorry sir, madam. When Yeri regained consciousness, the doctor immediately examined her and.. The doctor said, if Yeri has Dissociative Amnesia." said Soo Jae who stood not far from Yeri's bed.

Both of Yeri's parents who heard Soo Jae's explanation also felt sad because Yeri did not remember them.

"Dear, this is eomma. Your real mother, dear." said Mrs Park introduced herself.

"Eomma.." replied Yeri softly with teary eyes.

"Dear this is eomma."

"It's Appa Yeri-a, your real father." said Mr. Park introduced himself.

"Eomma appa." called out Yeri and immediately hugged the eomma tightly followed by Mr. Park who also hugged her.

Soo Jae, who sees a small family that is so warm, can only smile thinly with her heartfelt gaze.

"Eomma, I miss you. And, it seems like fate has led me to someone I have to take care of and protect." Soo Jae's inner self remembers the eomma and the destiny that binds her to Yeri.
