Arsen and Colvert sat face to face at one of the tables that could easily see how fast food restaurant CoBell was doing. From their position they can watch Bellinda who is helping employees serve customers.
Bellinda's small business is crowded every day. But, if the weekend can actually double or triple. So he often left Colvert on Merry on Saturday and Sunday.
There were about ten employees there. But still if it is crowded it feels less. Be Bellinda who intervenes. The condition only occurs during the weekend, and can still be handled with power. So, he did not try to find additional employees because it was considered to save labor costs as well.
In front of Arsen and Colvert have presented two soft drinks and burgers. Bellinda gives for free so as not to get too bored when waiting for him to finish work.
The gaze of the two men who were thirty-three years old was staring in the same direction. Who else if not the figure of Bellinda who is friendly to serve customers.
There was a smile on Arsen's face. He was embarrassed to accuse his ex-wife of not being able to do anything. In fact the woman made her own money, lived very well her son, gave a decent life without the slightest lack.
Arsen knew that Bellinda was born to a wealthy family, Baldwig had companies in Asia and Europe, which is why she was betrothed to her parents. But, his name was forced, so that time there was no love and his mind was covered by hatred.
But certainly CoBell is not under the Baldwig family company because it does not have branches. Certainly not a big business. Possibly Bellinda's own.
Arsen took a breath. I want to regret it but it all happened.
“Don't look on, later you like my mommy.” Under the table, Colvert kicked Arsen to stop looking at the cashier area where Bellinda was standing.
“Can't, later you hurt him again.” Colvert thumped his lips and stared intently at the sign of dislike.
Arsen smiled wryly. He hit his son's innuendo. “Say you'll give me a chance if your mommy is the same. Why is it suddenly changing course?”
Colvert twists the eyeball until it looks more adorable. “Em .. on second thought, my mommy looks happy just with me. But sometimes he can suddenly shed a tear when he looks at me for too long, he says I look like Daddy.” He saw the figure of Bellinda being talked about. “I don't want to lose her smile even though I want to have a family like friends. There's Mommy, Daddy, and me, or maybe a sister. But, if my wish makes Mommy sad, better not.”
Arsen. He was silent and could not say anything. Is it true that in front of him is a five-year-old child? Why is his thinking so mature and so distant?
“My Mommy's happiness is my happiness too. I'm quite happy to know that I have Daddy and can now meet in person. Although it turns out in the form of annoying.” Colvert still mocked Arsen.
But Arsen did not respond. He looked at the terrified look of the eyes emitted by Colvert. The boy's words seemed to be squeezing something behind his ribs.
“If the man you call Daddy is.”
“Steven?”
“Yes. Do you like her? And do you think she can make your mom happier than living with me? More worthy to be your Daddy?”
