Despite hating her ex-daughter-in-law, Mrs Baldwig can still control her emotions well. Bellinda's parents did not immediately give a look of horror when they met Arsen who was somehow aiming and from where to come with his son and granddaughter.
“Granny bring gift for me?” colvert asked while shaking the papperbag in his grandmother's hand.
Lady Baldwig then stopped looking at her ex-daughter-in-law, turning to smile gently at the only grandchild she had. “Sure, Dear.” He held out a tentengan that was deliberately purchased for his grandson's birthday gift to Colvert. “Come open inside.”
“Wah ... really bought me what I asked for, Granny.” Colvert to hold with two hands because he liked it too much, when peeping it turns out to contain a mini microscope that he often talked on the phone when his grandmother contacted.
“Sini, mommy bring.” Bellinda took over. He took some distance from Arsen so as not to look close to the man. Although the faces of his parents were no glint of anger, but he knew there was hatred harbored.
Meanwhile, Arsen was still standing in front of his apartment unit. He was confused how to greet the former in-laws. Wanna call what? Mommy's? Mrs Baldwig? Or the other one? Until now there has not been a single sentence of greeting out of his lips.
Bellinda's door was opened by Colvert. “Come, Granny, we go in,” take him while pulling the hand of the grandmother who was staring at her daddy.
“Iya, first.” Lady Baldwig patted her grandson's back to get inside.
After there was no Colvert, Arsen smiled and slightly nodded his head. It was all that came to mind to greet her former in-laws.
Lady Baldwig simply raised one eyebrow without replying with a lip pull. “Why is he here?” The question was directed at Bellinda. As long as his daughter lived separately in the apartment, only now did she meet Arsen.
The frown on Mrs Baldwig's forehead deepened. Why did he bother living in Amsterdam?
“How are you?” ask Arsen. Yes ... Consider it a pleasantries because he does not know what to talk about when meeting former in-laws. He had forgotten, other than Colvert and Bellinda, there were his widow's parents who needed to be faced as well.
Lady Baldwig pulled the corner of her lips. “If I am not good, it is definitely impossible to stand here,” the answer came out with a steady tone, neither high nor pressed. It's just that the arrangement of words seems to insinuate questions that should already know the answer without asking.
Bellinda saw a flash of dislike between her mommy and Arsen. Rather than getting run over the affairs, it was better that he separate first.
“Mom, come on in, Colvert must have been waiting.” Bellinda clamps her parents' arms to move.
Lady Baldwig nodded. Linger seeing people who are hated and have made the life of his son difficult, can make his heart increasingly want to issue a curse on Arsen. Instead of his elegance being lost, he better leave his former daughter-in-law. Maybe not now will ask the intent and purpose of re-emerging in his daughter's life, but later will be done when the time is right.
“Oh, yes, Everest has agreed. She has no problem with your status of having been married and having children. So, next week you should go home for a family meeting.” Lady Baldwig deliberately spoke in a loud voice as she walked into the door.
Arsen was both silent and surprised by what he had just heard. “Everest? Family gathering? Is this why Bellinda does not give certainty? Because he's being betrothed again?”
