Like getting slaps from all directions, Arsen had just listened to an astonishing fact. It turns out that oral consequences that are too sharp can make others suffer.
Arsen was unable to resist using words. The head lowered with water sliding from the eyes. Now he knows why his former in-laws hate him so much. He deserves to get such treatment.
“I can only say sorry because everything has happened. But, please, give it a chance to fix everything.” Arsen restrained the feet of the former in-law who had stood up and was about to leave him.
Lady Baldwig shook her head. The throat feels choked because the painful memories of the past must be reviewed in the mind again. Still have Bellinda until now is very grateful. It was never imagined in life that the only princess left first.
“I forgive you, but not by agreeing for you to remarry. Who can guarantee there will be no similar incident?” Still with her stance, Mrs Baldwig continued to refuse.
“Let's bring a lawyer together. Make a legally written agreement that can be filed in law as well as demands, in case I repeat the same.” In a position of calm, Arsen looked up when offering the deal. “Your granddaughter and daughter must be happy and enough for all life both materially and other things. If I'm breaking, please do whatever.”
Already up to the stage of not knowing what else to do, Arsen also proposed an agreement so that his former in-laws are sure that Bellinda and Colvert's life will be guaranteed. “Think once more about how they feel,” added Arsen.
Lady Baldwig closed her eyes. The one who persuaded him to give Arsen permission was not the man alone. But, Bellinda, Colvert, even the husband as well. However, her name was a mother who had seen her own daughter go through a period of pain, her heart so hard to soften.
The middle-aged woman knows that Bellinda still loves Arsen. Trying to close your eyes to that. Come to think of it, is he who is too selfish and hard to put aside the happiness of children? Or is it all due to anxiety?
Arsen's offer sounds pretty interesting too. “OK, we make a letter of agreement, but all must be favorable to my daughter.”
Without a second thought, Arsen nodded and agreed. “Please make all the points, I will not ask for one but blessing.”
After going through a difficult negotiation, Arsen finally went home to the apartment with satisfactory results. The last month of his struggle to pursue the permission of the former in-laws was finished already.
Arsen only returned after completing the making of an agreement with Lady Baldwig. He did not want Bellinda's parents' decision to change if not hastened.
Not directly to the unit itself, but Arsen pressed a few numbers on the next door. He entered Bellinda and Colvert's residence.
It was very late when the widower set foot there. Exactly his presence along with Bellinda who came out of Colvert's room.
“Your face looks tired once, is today still rejected again?” bellinda asked as she approached her ex-husband.
There's a sluggish slab shown by Arsen. She held Bellinda's body in her arms and recalled the words of her former father-in-law.
“Why didn't you ever tell me that I was in a coma and almost gone when I gave birth to our child?” Arsen's voice sounded very sad. He kissed Bellinda's head many times.
“For what to say that? I don't want to be seen weak in front of you,” Bellinda explained.
Arsen's guilt is mounting. It can no longer be calculated in what way it pays for everything. The man pressed both hands together. “From now on, you can show your weak side, don't cover from me. No need to feel strong if it is not okay.”
Arsen then cupped Bellinda's cheeks together. He raised the woman's face to look at her. “Please .. forget my words in the past that had judged you can do nothing, spoiled, and all other insults. I don't want you to live with the shadow of that painful sentence.”
