One silver ring with a shiny diamond has been perched pretty on Alula's ring finger. Who else was pinning it, other than the man in a neat suit with the sideways combed hair of the mist. The man who from first sight stunned Alula.
Alula rubbed the soft ring finger that had been circled around the ring.
"Beautiful," said Alula without a sound.he looked up, staring in the bead of the man's eyes before him. "Thank you," he continued, who was only reciprocated by a nod.
Alula smiled haru, unable to believe that in an instant she had torn down her defensive wall. He who for years kept the pain alone, he who for years tried to be strong in front of everyone, has now put his heart on the man he has loved since childhood.
Isn't this what he wanted? Living happily with the people he loves. This is not a dream that Alula made herself, this is a reality that will soon be realized.
Alula flinched from her daydream, when she heard Marsha's screaming voice and boisterous applause. Not to forget, Marko's loud whistling was so deafening, that he landed a roll of tissue that Mama Indri threw at the man.
"Whisper" said Mama Indri who briefly clapped her hands, then threw a roll of tissue at Marko.
"Yeay .. finally," cried Marsha when Mirza finished pinning her ring on Alula's finger.
Fortunately that night no other visitors came, because the entire cafe was booked by Mirza. Otherwise, of course Alula will feel embarrassed because it will be the center of attention.
"So, when are you getting married?" mama Indri asked after Alula sat back in her chair.
"Tomorrow." It was not Alula who answered, it was Mirza. The man was still standing behind Alula.
"Don't you, Mir!" spray Mama Indri. she wanted to hit the boy's bo kong, but Mirza hurriedly ran around the table to return to her seat opposite Alula.
"Unfortunately, marriage is easy." Pa Sanjaya also opened his voice, he shook his head to hear Mirza's words.
"Hehehe, joke Pah." Mirza is grumpy, while Shaka and Shaki share a laugh at the behavior of the father and the others.
"Papa scolded Opa," Shaka whispered to his twin brother. Mirza just smiled, then stroked Shaka's head.
"Quickly, Ma," said Mirza who this time put on a serious face. "Faster is better."
"Udah is not strong, Om." Marko giggled while covering his mouth with his left hand.
Mirza only glanced at her best friend, then set her sights on Abhi's father.
"What do you think, Father?
"Loh, you come along. Whenever you are getting married, I pray that it will be launched and given a blessing."
"Amen."
"Would you please have the place ready?" Lovely Mother who had been silent since, spoke up. The older sister of Alula's mother was also happy with the wedding plan.
"Lula wants to hold a contract at the parlour, can't she, Mom?"
"By dong, baby. Let me prepare it later."
"Okay, for I'll let Beautiful Mother set her place. But, if for the reception let Mama take care of everything, huh?"
"Should there be a reception?" Alula turned to the woman who had been her adoptive mother, the woman who would soon become her mother-in-law.
"Oh have to dong! leave everything to Mama."
Alula nodded obediently.
"It should be festive, Auntie." Marsha looked at Indri's eyes while pulling down her eyebrows.
"Oh sure," replied Mama Indri confidently.
They continued to eat dinner with laughter. Alula did not expect, if the answer 'yes' it will have a happy effect like this. He kept staring at the people around him in turn, feeling grateful to be in the midst of people who loved him.
...****************...
One more month, the wedding will be held soon, everyone is busy helping with the wedding preparations. Including the prospective in-laws who have since determined the date of the event have designed a series of plans.
"La, what will the reception souvenir be?"
Alula shook her head, not knowing what she would give as a souvenir to her invited guests. He did not know, what kind of invited guests will be present at the wedding reception. But for sure, those people are not random people, considering the prospective husband and prospective in-laws are a famous businessman.
"Make it possible?" asked Mama Indri, the future mother-in-law of Alula was so enthusiastic about wanting to give the best for herself and her only child.
"By Ma, Lula doesn't know and is confused, what to say."
Alula stopped her work, then looked at the woman beside her.
"Why?"
"How many guests are coming?"
Alula had to calculate the amount of her savings, giving gold as a souvenir would definitely make her finances drained.
"Maybe it could be more than five hundred," replied Mama Indri.
Alula's brain began to spin, summing up the hundreds of people who would come, multiplied by the price of gold that would be made a souvenir of her wedding.
Shortly thereafter, there was a sound of restrained laughter. "You why? until it's tense?."
Alula just shook her head.
Mama Indri grabbed both of Alula's shoulders, then rubbed her gently. "You just calm down, don't mind much. All your wedding needs we're bearing. You don't have to pay anything."
Alula can breathe a sigh of relief. Ah yes, he forgot that he would marry a rich man and would become the son-in-law of a famous man. Alula smiled happily.
"What are you doing again?"
"Design dress, Ma." Alula took a picture of the one she kept on the table. Then show it to Mama Indri.
"It's so pretty" praised Mama Indri. "It's just a picture, especially if it's the original."
"It's Lula's dream dress, Ma."
Mama Indri smiled, and soon she said, "If you wear two clothes, how?"
"meaning?"
"Your mom wants you to wear Indian clothes." Mama Indri's eyes were clear.
"Indian Shirt?"
Mama Indri nodded, "Yes, Indian bridal dress. You know, you used to love watching Bollywood?" Now it was Alula's turn to nod. "Mama really wants to see you become a bride like an Indian woman, must be very beautiful."
"May," replied Alula, smiling.
Alula returned to her drawing tool, she had to finish the drawing immediately before starting the next process.
"Are you sure it'll be done in time? one more month this one."
Alula chuckled softly, "Yakin, Ma. Mama know not? I even finished one dress in a week. Though the dress is so complicated, my customers like to fight."
"Great! Mama didn't know you were that smart."
"Well, I just don't want to disappoint the customer, Ma." Their conversation continued, the topic they were talking about was just about marriage.
Since the wedding date was determined, they, especially Mama Indri, directly contacted the WO team who had handled Mirza's wedding reception with Gweny first and entrusted everything to the WO team. From buildings, decorations, catering, even other small things.
"Well, Mr. Mirza wants another reception, huh?" seloroh one of the women from the WO team, when Mama Indri contacted him. "I haven't." He also chuckles.
"Do'akan, this time the last," said Mama Indri with a happy smile, as if she would be his bride.
"Definitely, Mom. May everything be launched. And thank you for returning to entrusting us with everything."
"Yes, don't forget my message. I want the most luxurious and second to none."
The woman in the all-black uniform laughed softly, "Sure, Mom. It will be a party with the most spectacular Bollywood theme" she said with confidence.
Wedding time is getting closer, all preoccupied with various kinds of preparations. Even Mirza often comes home the night just to finish her work at the office. Because after the wedding later, he does not want to be burdened with office affairs. As much as possible, before the wedding, all the work was done.
