Campus Horror

The Part 25

“For not yet returned, Ma?” Andi had just arrived home and found a quiet house. Only his wife, Dewi, was watching television showing Korean dramas.

“Numbered, Pa. Earlier in the morning said you want to find the material thesis.” Without stopping the activity of looking at the big screen in front of him.

“Iya Papa knows. Meet you on campus.”

“Papa Campus?”

“Iya. Said the possibility of his book is on the Tourism Campus.”

The goddess just nodded. Not very interested in the activities of her son and husband. His job as a Korean drama lover is more interesting and should not be punctuated by unimportant information.

After changing clothes, Andi headed for the kitchen.

Open the refrigerator. His eyes circled all over the cold room in search of something that could refresh his mouth.

There are several pieces of pudding believed to be made by the Goddess. Because his wife loves to cook. All the dishes made by him were delicious. Even if it's just an omelet.

While eating the pudding, Andi's hands surfed on some of his personal social media apps. Then there was a conversation from Mom and Dad in the room. Samar was heard, as the conversation was conducted in a very small voice.

I don't know why Andi became curious about the content of the conversation.

Now, Andi has approached and sharpened his sense of hearing.

"...malah make Kirman become suspicious later with the Father."

"Yes, Mom. You just want to make sure."

"Surely you have nothing to do with the death of the victim on campus?"

Andi was very surprised by her mother's question. He waited with a riled up answer from the Father.

"Yes! My father told me!"

"Well, now I want to make sure. No, don't put your face like that. People will become suspicious!"

***

To see his father throwing fish food into the pond. Not to directly say hello. Slowly he approached accompanied by studying the facial features of his Papa.

A face with a very distant mind. His hands kept moving giving the koi fish food.

"Pa!"

Andi was surprised and looked.

"Home home, Gi?"

"What the fuck are you thinking, Pa?"

"No. Papa didn't think anything. Why indeed?"

"It seems like there's a problem again."

Andi just smiled.

"Where did you find the book you were looking for?"

"No, Pa. But I've found something interesting." To answer with a mischievous clatter on his face.

Not going to his room immediately. But to his parents' room.

"Hi, Ma!"

"Home home, Mama's son?"

To walk to his Papa's desk and pick up one of the books used to write his Papa's schedule.

"Search for what, honey?"

"This is gonna borrow Papa's note. I have an English assignment."

"Aren't you writing a thesis? How is there any more work?"

"Oh.. That, Ma. Temen me, uh the underclassman who asked for help, Ma."

"Yes, Ma. Meaning Agia. Yes, it is, Ma. I'll go to the room first!"

"Basic bujang! My mother is ashamed."

***

To be silent in disbelief after researching Andi's notebook and the pocket book she got from the library.

'This is Papa's writing. How could Papa leave English grammar notes in a book that Asih reads?'

To not be able to think about this alone. Everything seems complicated and without a way out.

Deni, Robi, Damar, and Bagi, are now discussing the video of the sighting stored in Ratna's dimemori. Drinks and food presented in front of them were not able to arouse appetite.

Deni is lured by the fact that his love has disappeared for real and cannot possibly come back again.

Deni prefers to imagine Asih getting married to another man and living happily. Compared to the fact that for years her lover was lying stiff alone in the cold and dark buried in the ground.

“Om. Um nothing?”

Deni was silent. As a matter of fact, Deni is not doing well.

Damar began to tell them about the beginning of their stressful journey. Agia and Stevina were the first to experience the incident on campus.

“Om can I meet Agia? Can Agia be a bridge between Om and Asih?”

“If the problem For less know, Om. But several times Agia wanted to meet and discuss something with Om. Not to be confused with time maybe. If it's like now, it's easier to manage time. Because Om and Agia both want to meet.”

Damar continues the story of his encounter with the detective police who handled the case.

“We are not alone, Om. There's a cop who's gonna help us figure out who did it.” Damar expressed his heart.

***

Damar and Bagi were still sitting after Deni and Robi.

"Bro..."

Damar averted his eyes from the screen of his mobile phone towards Bagi.

"Gue has a bad feeling about this case."

"What feeling?"

"I went to the library of the Faculty of Tourism. I found something."

"Found what?" Damar put his mobile phone on the table and confirmed his sitting position more upright. Damar looks very enthusiastic.

"This is something that we can make a clue or not. But I guess, I need input from you." To give a pocket book containing English grammar notes to Damar.

Damar looked at the pocket book.

"English Records?"

For nodding.

"Gue nemu tucked in a book that Asih read. In that book."

"Then? What's so special about this notebook is that your feeling comes up."

For then give up the paper he torn from the agenda book schedule activities owned by his Papa.

Damar examined the paper and read.

Damar raises his shoulders, indicating he has not found any clue.

"Not knowing me."

"See. It's the same writing, right?"

Damar looked more closely.

"Oh, yes!"

"That's... My bokap handwriting."
