Campus Horror
The Part 59
The trial resumed by providing evidence from the Public Prosecutor.
Before the evidence agenda is carried out, the Chief Justice asks the defendant to move from the examination seat to the defendant's seat located to the right of the legal counsel.
Furthermore, the Chief Justice allows the Public Prosecutor to prepare witnesses to prove the crime that has been committed by the accused.
“We will present a witness who will complete our investigation. The witness that we present is the foreman who is working on the construction at the time of the estimated murder by the accused. Precisely mid-1986, August.”
Officers entered the courtroom accompanying a witness and directed him to occupy the examination seat.
After the witness successfully occupied the examination seat, the Chief Justice asked the identity of the witness.
“Can you introduce yourself, Sir?”
“My name is Irwan Iswadi, but commonly called Tole.” Tole mentions his age, as well as his current residence address.
“Does brother Irwan know the defendant?”
“I know him with the defendant's brother, Sir, uh Your Honor I mean. His brother was one of the workers when working on campus at that time.”
“Good, so the existence of brother Irwan is here as a witness, right?”
“Iya, right.”
“Are the witness brothers in good health at the moment?”
“It's very healthy, Your Honor Judge.”
“Are you ready to give the correct description?”
“Ready, Your Highness.”
“Alright then. Before starting the agenda of proof with the presence of witnesses, please the sworn officer to say an oath or promise in accordance with the religion espoused.”
Tole as a witness is asked to stand up and repeat the pronunciation of the oath from the oath.
After that, the Chief Justice invited Tole to sit down again.
“Brother witness, I hope to give a description correctly in accordance with what you experienced yourself. Whatever you see and hear. If I know that your testimony is wrong, we will demand perjury. Are you ready?”
“Ready, Your Highness.”
“Brothers are foremen of building workers during campus renovation work, right?”
“True, Your Highness.”
“Do you really see the accused at the time of the incident?”
“Yes, Your Honor. I saw his sister Ari come out of the campus in a hurry but the path was not normal. After I noticed, his legs spit out a lot of blood.”
“Ari? Is Ari the suspect's sister?”
“True, Your Highness.”
“Where is the Brother position then?”
“I'm at a stall near campus buying cigarettes.”
“About what time?”
“I don't remember for sure. What was clear was that it was dark but still left the atmosphere of twilight. Probably around half past seven, Your Majesty. I can still see clearly her sister Ari using long pants and tied hair.”
“Then what do you do after that?”
“I walked towards the campus, I suspect there are bad people who hurt my friend's sister. Because his legs look bloody. I am afraid if the building materials on campus are stolen by thieves or bad people. But when I got to college, I didn't see anyone. The campus looks quiet and dim as usual. The building material is still in its initial position. A few minutes later, Ari arrived with her sister. I then hid next to the cafeteria table to find out what they were doing. Then I saw Ari hoarding something with soil in the corner of the campus. I was afraid of being discovered, so I decided to go quietly before they finished burying something. The next day the hole was sealed and plastered with concrete. Ari said she'd put a statue on it.” Dewi panicked and was surprised to hear the delivery made by Tole to the trial participants. He whispers to Antoni that what the witness is saying is wrong.
For and his family also looked towards Ari who participated sitting as a congregation visitor.
Ari's face showed disbelief that her name was mentioned in the trial. Even he was accused of being the one who helped his sister in eliminating the victim.
“Who ordered Ari to put the statue there?”
“Campus person said.”
“Then, before did you know that there is a hole there?”
“Know, Your Grace. Ari said he was told to dig a hole by college guys to plant a tree. I just pardon it. After finished making the hole, he permission kesaya to go home early because not feeling well.”
Now the Chief Justice will harmonize the testimony of the witness to the defendant.
“Defendant, from the whole testimony submitted by the witness, I suspect that that day you were indeed helped by your sister, is that true?”
“No, Your Grace. Everything the witness said was a lie. Uh, not all, Your Majesty. The fact that my leg was injured and bleeding was true. But after I left college, I didn't go back to college. I stayed in the room kos.”
“Can anyone prove your alibi?”
“Nothing, Your Highness.” The weak Goddess.
“Why did you stab the victim? May I know?”
“I'm just defending myself, Your Majesty. The one who attacked me first.”
“It is impossible for someone to attack if there is no cause. Did you intimidate the victim until a fight broke out?”
The silent Goddess was unable to answer the Chief Judge's question.
“How's Attorney? Is there anything you want to ask the witness?”
“Nothing, Your Grace. I just asked permission to add a list of witnesses that is Ari, the elder brother of the accused for us to check first. Thank you.”
“Does the Legal Counsel on the part of the accused want to convey his rebuttal?”
Now it was Antoni's turn to ask the witness who had been brought in by Sandria.
“Tread Tole, right?”
“True, Sir.”
“Good. He said earlier that the situation on campus was sullen. How can you be sure if the one who came was our client?”
“I can see the way the road of people who come is not normal like enduring pain. Yes, just like the way of the road when he left the campus earlier.”
“Why don't you directly reprimand our client and the person you call named Ari?”
“Yes be afraid, sir. They did something suspicious at night. Who would dare? Yes I just go home, than me who why-napa.”
“Boy's testimony sounds ambiguous. In fact, you didn't see any human bodies there, did you?”
“Not seen, Sir. Just approaching me did not dare. Maybe if I leaned my head into the hole I could see it. As they do.”
Antoni could no longer answer Tole's submission. He ended the question and answer session on the part of the accused. In his heart Antoni admitted that he would not be able to win the case. All the evidence and witnesses have turned to clients. How can he prove that his client is innocent. He admitted to stabbing the victim with a knife.
Antoni is only willing to carry out his duties.
The trial that day continued with the presence of witnesses namely the defendant's schoolmate, the defendant's college friend, and also the worker who saw directly when Ari dug the ground where the victim was embedded.
The results of the trial that day were too jomplang. All witnesses cornered Dewi as the perpetrator who had the motive to eliminate the life of the victim, Asih Prabandari.

Sandria sat alone in the courtroom after everyone had left the inaugural hearing this afternoon.
He kept silent to his worries.
Then Antoni came and approached Sandria.
“Why, San?”
“Eh, Lo, Ton. Why here?”
“Gue came by to go home, uh you're still here. Why lo?”
“The defendant's family threatened me this morning.” He answered with a bitter smile.
“Iya? How can?”
“Gue told to stop this case.”
“Terus?”
“If my family won't be hurt.”
Antoni was silent and did not answer.
They are professional opponents, but if in their personal lives, they are good friends. Successfully observe lectures at the same university, making them familiar.
“Lo great prosecutor. The prosecutor is honest and strong. You must know what to do.”
“Gue packed choice. Back off by receiving five billion or forward losing my family.”
“Buset! Much greatly. Then after that there will be people who demand you as a bribe prosecutor. Ah, guess the plot of the ancients. It must be my client-in-law, right, who has a job?”
Sandria nodded slowly.
“Gue to how, Ton.”
“Forward! During the hearing, ask for help secretly with the police. Try calling Mr. Jim. He must have an idea to take care of your family. The kids are off school. Make it easier to keep an eye on.”
“Actually I have my conversation record with him, Ton.” Sandria laughed a little.
“Then what's the point of me talking long times wide times high just now? Trobos is already! Fear not! Jeblosin the old man and!”

“Pa, what if Mama really goes to jail?”
“Ya how to. Papa can't say anything. Want to blame you for siding with the police can't either. If Papa were you too, Papa would have done the same.”
“Sorry For Yes, Pa.”
“Papa was actually curious. Why your mom could do that. Let's just say he didn't kill Asih. But with him behaving badly in his past alone is enough to make Papa shake his head. Papa became suspicious that your Mama really killed Asih.”
“Pa. Do not let Mama kill Asih because Papa is chasing Asih.”
“Ah don't say that to you. Papa became more and more pityful with Asih. We leave it to the same authorities. If it is proven, then how. Indeed Your mama also claimed to have stabbed Asih, right?”

Sided, Ari was arrested as an accomplice to the murder case. He was detained for further questioning by the prosecution. In the next trial, Ari will be raised from a witness to a suspect who will be indicted in court.
