The Part 27

"Sorry, Sir. I'm late."

Dira Nugraha just nodded at the arrival of Asih in his room.

Two months after the incident at the Deni family villa, Dira did ask Asih to meet him after his part-time work after five in the afternoon.

"Can I help you, sir?"

"Just go. Are you really in a relationship with my son?"

Asih just stared at Dira expressionlessly.

"Why are you just silent?"

"Because whatever my answer is, you don't like it."

Dira gave a rough breath.

"Why should I not like it? You're nothing to me and my family."

Dira noticed the change in facial expression Asih held back emotions, but Dira admitted that his efforts to look calm really deserve thumbs up.

"It seems you understand very well my response as Deni's parents to your relationship. And I'm sure you know the purpose I'm calling here. I'm asking you to stay away from my son."

Dira stopped to give a pause to his words.

"Be as ordinary as a scholarship student. Come to college just to study. Not for anything else. Especially teasing my son."

Dira snorted annoyedly when he remembered this woman before him trying to enter his family.

Asih still silent do not want to believe if a dean whom he greatly respects turns out to be the father of the lover and grandfather of the fetus he contains now.

"I will try to apply for additional scholarships for you. Improve your academic performance this semester. The scholarship seems to suit you. If necessary at the end of the lecture later, I will try to set your performance index to cumlaude. That'll make it easier for you to find a job after you're done."

"There's nothing else I want to talk about. You can go home now. Thank you." Thank you."

Asih remained unmoved looking at the number one person in the Literature Campus who was now sitting in front of him.

The entire joint in his body was suddenly stiff. His tongue became a club. In fact, there is a lot that he wants to say.

Slowly Asih twisted his body and walked away from the dean's room.

***

Outside the dean's room, Asih felt his stomach harden. The age of the womb continues to grow and hormonal influences, Asih becomes very easily tired. Plus the words of the grandfather of the fetus they contain now is very painful, making his mood become plunged into basic numbers.

Asih exhaled a rough breath. In silence he walked away from the dean's office area.

Unknowingly, Asih was followed by a pair of eyes that accidentally both ears heard the conversation that had just happened in the room of the Dean of the Literature Campus.

“Hai!” Andi greeted Asih who walked slowly towards the campus parking area.

Asih jumped in shock to look at Andi who was leaning on her car.

“Pak Andi? How can it be here?”

“Iya, Sir. I also had a short business.”

“You're home now? I take ya?”

“Not done, sir. The hostel is also close by. Thanks for the offer. I first yes, Mr.” Asih continued his footsteps leaving Andi.

“I'd like to go home. We are also in the same direction. Yuk!”

Given the state of his stomach which is now not in a state of good condition, Asih assented Andi's offer to be delivered home.

Andi opened the door for Asih. After being convinced Asih was sitting comfortably, he rushed towards the steering wheel and started the car engine.

Before the vehicle drove, Andi reminded Asih to install a seat belt. Asih only returned Andi's attention with a nod accompanied by a smile.

“Thanks for the ride, sir. Sorry if I was troublesome.”

Andi smiled at the beautiful face of Asih that he always missed every day.

“If I have to drop off and pick up every day I can too. If you want, anyway,”

Asih just laughed crisply at the temptation that Andi threw.

“One more time, thank you, sir. Be careful on the road.”

Asih let go of Andi with a warm smile.

Unconsciously the friendly and warm attitude he gave to Andi just now, created a burning fire from the heart of his beloved. From a distance of several kilometers, Deni was watching her beautiful smile with excessive jealousy. Until Deni's initial goal of visiting Asih to repair all their love knits, changed direction into a never-ending love story.

Deni never knew that afternoon was the last beautiful smile he could see from Asih.

***

“Ma.. Who's coming?”

“Mama don't know, Gi. He said it was Grandpa's friend. Name's Kirman. But after Mama told Grandpa, no need to make a drink he said.”

To be silent to the information given by his mother.

The curiosity about the stolen talk heard earlier from Grandpa and his friend made Fori feel lost in spirit.

I don't know what really happened in the past. Why are all members of his family connected to Asih.

‘Did Grandpa and Papa have anything to do with Asih's death?’

To lean his body on the sofa of the family room after asking about the guests who came to his mother.

‘Kirman. Who is Kirman? Where should I find information about Kirman?’

There are so many questions he wants to ask now. But what power, only inside him was he able to pour out at this time.

To not want to be careless because of curiosity, make all the power and effort that Agia and her friends have done to be useless.

‘Kirman. I have to find out first who Kirman.’ is
