Can What a Widow Like You?
Chapters. 47 Kevin's Feelings

As soon as Fania arrived at her room, she immediately laid her body on her small bed. How chaotic his feelings were at this moment, his heart rumbled violently. He slumped his face onto the pillow with a pretty great cry finally coming out of his eyes.

He did not regret the departure of Dimas, only he had hoped much with his feelings. Although his lips said no but his heart denied, Dimas' treatment did make him fall.

But why is he so hearty about his feelings that despite only a few times the unwillingness met, made his heart respond.

"I just hope this feeling goes away on its own. I no longer want to wish on men, all men are indeed baj*ngan". He nodded with his hand. Until he came back crying with a mouthful.

His trauma of his father always hurting him, to tell him to work at a night club makes him afraid to be close to men. Then Dimas finally came, his trauma almost faded.

But Dimas' mistake was so fatal that the trauma brought him back to mind. He wants to run away from all this, but circumstances force him to stay strong.

"You mean, Mr Kevin?" Ask Dinda nervously.

"You don't have to talk this formal when we're both, so there's no more awkwardness between us". Said Kevin who was nodded by Dinda.

"I'm going to tell you a little bit about how I feel right now, so you don't feel like I'm going to play you like your ex-husband. You want to hear it?" Ask Kevin.

"Speak, say. emm.. I will listen to your story" replied Dinda who was a little confused by Kevin's words.

Kevin sighed to gather a little guts, this was indeed not the first one he had said his feelings towards women. However, Dinda is different. He cannot be achieved with love match like other women in general. His heart was too soft if it had to be scratched back.

"At first I was just amazed by you, a woman who is easily always oppressed but can still live a very complicated day well. I used to think that this was just a normal sense of awe, but all this felt different until I was finally able to make a conclusion about my heart always longing for your presence.

Sometimes I shake off all of these feelings, only that you're still holding on to my thoughts. And I finally realized, that this feeling was not just as bold as awe or a joke as you think it is today. It's pure affection". Obviously Kevin.

Dinda couldn't believe Kevin was going to say this, he was made speechless by Kevin.

"Maybe I was presumptuous or you think, I concluded things too quickly. But, believe. I just want to make you happy with me, I want you to feel safe without anyone else interrupting you. So, do you want to marry me? Being a wife for me to take care of and perform the longest service with me". Kevin's smile floated when his feelings had all been expressed.

"I-i.. I, can't answer your feelings, Mr. Kevin.." Dinda answered, looking confused.

"Why is that?" Ask Kevin who looks a bit disappointed.

"I was sorry for what I did to my parents, until my mother died, I couldn't make her happy. And right now, I still have a father. I don't want to disappoint him with my decision like I used to. That sense of trauma was still lingering in my heart, and the regret that had been created by myself became a terrifying shadow at this moment".

"Then?" Ask Kevin back who is still patiently waiting for Dinda's explanation.

"If you want an answer from me, talk to my father first. He's my guardian, I'll believe him. Because his decision was the beginning of his prayer. I don't want to make him feel disappointed again, even though he never prayed bad for my household, but he has the right to determine who deserves to be my side". Dinda is back.

Kevin finally understood, Dinda never regretted for opposing his parents who forbade him to marry Dimas. So that he did not want to be rash in accepting someone to be his companion, without the blessing of his father.

"If that's what you want, then I'll immediately ask your father for permission. When are you gonna meet me with your dad?" Kevin's reply made Dinda widen her eyes in disbelief. Maybe it won't feel awkward for him, it's just that he's different from Dimas. Who must be forced first to ask for the blessing of both parents.

A notification is visible from Heru's phone screen, initially he will ignore but his curiosity makes Heru look back at the phone screen and open the incoming message from the unknown number.

How surprised he was to see a short video showing how baj*nganngan Dimas against Dindq. He had believed her back, but his trust turned to hate after knowing what Dimas meant by that.

"You lied to me s*lan, you're good just to get my fortune. I'm a bod*h trust you back, 'cause you're basically a selfless kid. Sorry I added the name 'Adhinatha' behind your name". He shouted furiously, he could not stand the attitude of Dimas who continued to throw tantrums.

The foreign number again gave him a message, Heru quickly reopened it. He wondered who sent him the message.

'If you don't trust your son like this, you can ask Dinda directly. And because of someone's orders, you have to tell him if I have to teach him a lesson so he can know himself a little'. Fill in the message from the foreign number.

'Do as you please, I'm tired of his behavior. You don't have to tell me anything else about him'. Reply Heru in his short message.

Heru sighed, he did not know Dimas's way of thinking. He always willed as he pleased. Just a few days ago he was given his trust back, but the result is still the same as before.

"Are you sure, Mr Kevin? If you don't get my father's blessing later, how about it?" Ask Dinda.

"You're hoping I'll give up? I'll try to fight for you more, because I'm sure. I deserve you. You can see me, right? How handsome I am, surely your father will bless me so easily". Kevin replied with a chuckle.

Dinda just grunted in annoyance, how could at a time like this she still feel confident. Dinda just slid her hand over her face. He must be more patient when dealing with this man.

'Astaghfirullah.. Again he pisses me off'. Mumbled Dinda in the heart.
