Carmen
I dropped Mas Zaky in front of the house. It's already night time. May Abi sleep well. After Mas Zaky dropped off all his belongings, I put my car in the garage.
I locked the gate as agreed in this house. Whoever comes home at night has to lock the fence. Without exception. I then quietly entered the dark house and stumbled on the table which somehow changed position. I think when I left there was no table there. Why is there now?
Suddenly the living room lights were turned on. The bright lights made me squint my eyes. Abi was already standing with a tense face and looking at me sharply.
"Where have you been?" abi asked in a hostile tone at all.
It's been a long time since I've been reprimanded by Abi in this tone. Last time I asked for my blessing to marry Mas Zaky first.
"So I was out with my friend, Bi." I had to lie. I'm afraid of Abi. Mommy who was behind Abi also said nothing. Maybe Abi has forbidden Mommy from helping me talk.
"Whose friend? Try calling the guy!" turns out Abi doesn't trust me.
Well how is this? What else am I supposed to say? Why didn't I tell you to go with brother? Ouch, fool! Abi must be suspicious. Yeah, lie again. "Yes, I lied. I went to the house of Kak Dewi and played with Vino until I forgot the time." I cover up the lies with the lies.
Mami shook her head with my answer. While Abi, smiling full of mystery. "Oh yeah? You play with Vino? What color is she wearing today?"
Well, why Abi to nanya what color Vino shirt? How do I know what color the kid wears? Why does it have to be like that? Lie again dong! Let's just see the status of Sosmed Kak Dewi, surely I know what clothes to wear. Stupid carmen! Lying is not strategy! Now I have to think calmly and prepare a reasonable answer.
"White dress, Bi. Before going to bed, he changed his clothes!" I remember once that Vino had a lot of white sleepwear.
I glanced at Mommy who seemed to be shaking her head while bowing weakly. I have answered wrong again. Vino' is one camp with Abi, until the color of Vino's clothes Abi memorized. Well, Abi's mad at me.
"Saran Abi, next time if lying is prepared first the material lies. See situation. Ask him if he really wears that shirt? And more importantly, was the child really in his house? Because the Vino you made up the reason for lying was here. The boy fell asleep in the yellow shirt that Mommy gave him. So now you're honest with Abi. Where did you end up?" Abi's gaze now could no longer be lied to.
All right, I gotta be honest. But a little, the rest is Mas Zaky's business. "Yes, I'm honest. I'm out of the airport."
"Airport?" Abi's forehead looked wrinkled at the answer I gave. "Did you go to the airport?"
"Well, go back and forth to Singapore, shop for bags and shoes and keep eating dinner there, then back again to Indonesia," I answered honestly.
Mommy's getting more and more head bobbles and Abi's eyes are getting glaring. "The correct answer!" Abi's getting mad at me. The tone is getting higher.
"No, answer ah! If you answer, Abi will be even more angry with me!" whining me with spoiled.
"If you don't answer, Abi is even more angry! You've come home late, lied to Abi with a silly story about Vino, reasoned unclearly and now you don't want to tell me your real reason? You want to make Abi even more angry?" ask Abi who is getting upset. Mommy is seen stroking Abi's arm to make Abi patient.
Hearing the word reward, Abi's face was not as stiff as before. Maybe Abi knows what I'm doing isn't a sinful thing. His voice is softening now. "Yes, Abi is not angry right now. You said, What are you doing at the airport? Not because you want to try the coffee that's there, right?"
"Ih, I'm not doing much, Bi. Want to go to the outlet where it feels the same," I replied without feeling sinful, making Abi again upset.
"Carmen's Arabfirullah! You want to make Abi's blood go up? Just answer me so hard! Why the hell should muter-muter-muter half of Indonesia you just answer the question Abi?" Back Abi rose blood with my answer.
Actually I was deliberately muter-muter. Let Abi tired and not ask me more but it turns out Abi was even more curious. Forced, my little boom blew up. I'm ready for this diomelin, but I take a little muter-muter ah. I don't know why I'm happy to upset Abi? Like it wasn't just me who used to indulge with Abi.
"Want me to take Abi's high blood medicine? Uh but Abi's usually low blood instead of high blood. Can it be that easy to change from low blood to high blood? Is it because Abi is a grandfather now? Bi, do I need to call Abi's doctor?" ask me without guilt.
"Carmen Princess Jelita Agastya." Abi spelled my name one by one. Abi's omens are at the height of the anger now.
"Yes, Bi."
"Baby, you're on them. Don't answer Abi you!" mommy's Scolding. "Abi's love you her wrinkles increased. There are four wrinkles on the forehead. Mommy Maskin Abi's job is more and more!" Mommy seems to know what my strategy is. Mommy helped me buy time until Abi got upset and didn't want to ask again.
"There are no wrinkles. Mommy, don't swear Abi's got more wrinkles! This Abi's forehead is still slippery with no wrinkles!" Abi answered while holding his forehead.
Oh God, I had to hold back the laughter of seeing this wonderful act of my parents. It's a sin I lied to Abi.
"Then anyway? Mommy saw when Abi was angry there was a frown. Here try Abi nduk. Let Mommy check again. I'm afraid Mommy's eyes have a wrong look at night!" mommy's orders.
Abi obediently lowered his head. "Aren't you, Mi?" ask Abi.
Mommy gave me the code to escape through the back of Abi's body, who was looking down silently. I did what Mommy told me to do and went up the stairs slowly.
"Attent. It was night. Not so clear. You see, Abi's forehead is still tight because Mommy likes to make Abi a mask of eggs and honey. It doesn't exist, Bi. That means shadow doang!" answer Mommy.
"What did Abi say? Abi is young. So, Baby-"
I don't need to see, I know Abi didn't find me because I was up there and peeked a little.
"Oh so this is Mommy's plan? Lying Abi huh? Look out, Abi's law tonight Mommy doesn't sleep all night! Come fast!"
Huft .. congratulations. Sorry, yes, My. Mommy worked hard to be punished Abi. Relax, Abi's punishment is good. I was good, oops.
