Chapter 22 Single Parents

Almero drove his car into the gate of the three-story house. He saw some burly men standing guard. As he got out of the car, one of them rushed up to him.

"Sorry, sir, are you Almero Adhiyaksa?" the man asked while staring at Almero and his cell phone in turn. It seems he matched Almero's face with the photo on his phone.

"Yes, I will attend the wedding of my sister, Ivyna Adhiyaksa. Can I come in now?"

"Please, Sir."

Seeing Almero, Ivyna could not bear his grief.

"Almero," called Ivyna running into his sister's arms. Ivyna's actions left Keano stunned. Somehow he felt annoyed to see Ivyna cuddling with another man, even though it was his own sister. Moreover, Almero Adhiyaksa is very beautiful. Had they not been brothers, Ivyna and Almero would have seemed compatible as a couple.

"Why are you crying, Ivy? Don't you want to get married? Tell me the truth" said Almero, calming Ivyna, sobbing in her arms.

Ivyna shook her head.

"No, I'd like to apologize for getting married while you're still grieving. And again I didn't tell you before."

"It doesn't matter to me if you get married now. The important thing is that you are sure and truly in love with your husband."

Before Ivyna answered, Keano had already responded to Almero's words.

"Of course we love each other. Otherwise, we will not get married. And from today I will be your brother-in-law, Mr. Almero."

"Where might I be mad at you. I want you to always be happy, Ivy," said Almero, smiling.
