Chapter 26. Pregnant Engineering

Ainisha just followed Bu Kartika's desire to invite him to go to the obstetrician acquaintance Haikal. Ainisha only hoped, Haikal already had preparations for what would happen later.

Because they already have an appointment with Patra's doctor in person, then Miss Kartika, Haikal and Anisa do not need to wait long. They were immediately called in for an examination. Ainisha's heart was pounding and there was a feeling of fear and anxiety. If it is discovered today, that she is not pregnant, then everything will end and it is not Ainisha's fault.

Carefully, Ainisha lay on the patient's bed and Patra's doctor immediately examined her stomach condition. Not only a physical examination but finally Ainisha had to undergo an ultrasound examination. Ainisha could only resign and accept whatever the outcome was

But, it was completely beyond Ainisha's expectations. Doctor Patra told Bu Kartika and Haikal that the condition of the baby in the womb Alisha is fine. Even according to the results of the USG, Alisha's fetus is well developed.

They took a serious look at the explanation from Patra's doctor while looking at the monitor. Apparently, there was a small object that moved and was there. He said it was a very small baby. It is shaped like a small dot.

Haikal looked calm and Bu Kartika looked happy. Ainisha, however, still did not understand how all this could happen. But most importantly, everything went according to plan. They immediately decided to return to the car.

"You guys just wait in the car. I'll make up for the medicine first" Haikal said, holding a prescription from Patra's doctor.

"alright. If you can, don't stay long. Poor Alisha," said the mother, smiling at Ainisha.

"Take care as soon as possible."

Ainisha and Bu Kartika went back to the car, while Haikal returned to the pharmacy. After finishing the medicine, Haikal immediately got to the car, for fear that his mother and Ainisha would wait.

Arriving in the car, Haikal immediately asked his mother and Ainisha to wear seat belts before the car drove on the road. Haikal smiled inwardly. He remembered his attempt to convince Patra to help him was not easy. His profession as a doctor is at stake here.

Haikal asked Patra's doctor to tell her mother that Ainisha was pregnant with her child. Doctor Patra is willing because he owes Haikal a favor. The debt of life, because Patra's doctor almost died from lack of blood after an accident. Haikal donated his blood which eventually saved Patra's life.

Even Haikal was very happy with USG doctor Patra who showed that Ainisha's fetus seemed to really exist and live. Haikal himself did not know how Patra's doctor could do that. Maybe it's a pregnancy tape belonging to another woman.

"Haikal, look out .. there's a car ahead!" yelled Bu Kartika loudly.

Haikal panicked and immediately braked his car suddenly.

"Alisha, how are you doing, are you okay? What about the baby in your womb?" bu Kartika asked frantically for fear of something happening with her granddaughter.

"Alisha, fine, just shocked," replied Alisha in complete shock.

"Haikal, next time if you're driving don't daydream. It can be very dangerous" advised Mrs Kartika.

"Yes, Mom. Haikal is wrong, next time Haikal will be more careful" Haikal replied with a heavy sigh.

Haikal drove back to his car after seeing Ainisha doing well. Along the way, Ainisha still did not understand today's events. Ainisha looked towards Haikal. It turns out Haikal is good at also organizing tactics.

Arriving at home, Ms. Kartika helps Ainisha out of the car. Ainisha was treated like a queen because she would give offspring to their families. Haikal is the only child, and Bu Kartika hopes that Haikal will have many children so that the house becomes crowded and fun.

They immediately went in to rest. While Ainisha was resting in the room, Haikal and Bu Kartika were sitting casually in the living room.

"Mom, how long are you planning to stay?" haikal asked while looking at his mother.

"Why, would you like me to leave immediately?" answer Miss Kartika.

"You're right too, Haikal. Maybe tomorrow I'll be home. I'm relieved to know that mom's granddaughter-in-law is okay."

"Thank God," Haikal murmured softly.

At night, Ainisha sat on the back of the bed while reading a novel. Haikal when it comes and will also rest.

Ainisha, you haven't slept?" haikal asked while sitting on the other side of the bed.

"I can't sleep yet. I'm still thinking about the results of the USG this morning. Very convincing," Ainisha said trying to figure out what happened.

"I have arranged everything. If not, maybe things will go my way. The USG results also. All just engineering and you don't have to worry. After all, tomorrow I'm going home, so your job will be over soon too" Haikal said.

"Thank God. I also want to go home soon to see my mother's condition after the operation" said Ainisha sadly.

"Wait a minute."

Ainisha nodded slowly. He was eager to meet his mother after the operation. But he also had to be patient until Bu Kartika left.

"Sleep, don't wake up tomorrow" Haikal said when he found out Ainisha wasn't sleeping.

"Yes, very chatty" murmured Ainisha.

Ainisha tried to close her eyes even though it was difficult. Even though he finally fell asleep too. Haikal, meanwhile, allowed Ainisha's blanket to keep Ainisha from freezing. He saw the face of Ainisha without make up. If you look closely, Ainisha has a natural beauty. The more he looked, the more his face looked sweet.

Kikoura, Alisha. Two names that are almost similar. Haikal began to suspect. Haikal recalled that Alisha had a birthmark behind her right ear. Haikal moved his heart to dispel his suspicions.

Slowly, Haikal touched Ainisha's cheek so that Ainisha's head could tilt to the left. After that, Haikal began to see if behind Ainisha's ear there was a birthmark or not. Haikal gasped in shock and could hardly believe it. His eyes were round and his heart was pounding.

Between happy and sad, Haikal touched Ainisha's face. His hands shook and he could not think clearly. I can't wait to find out what really happened.

Ainisha is Alisha. Alisha is Ainisha. Haikal tried to remember everything that had happened. Starting from her first meeting with Ainisha as a delivery girl. Then his meeting with Alisha at a Cafe and other events that happened afterwards. Everything seems to be interconnected.

The next day, Haikal waited for Ainisha to wake up. Ainisha was startled, when she saw Haikal looking at her sharply as if he was holding a rage.

"Hey, why are you looking at me like that?" ainisha asked somewhat scared.

"Isn't there anything you want to tell me? I'm giving you a chance to be honest" Haikal said still with a strange look.

"What, it seems like there's nothing I want to say. I just want to go home and see my mom, "Anisha replied upset Haikal because Ainisha did not want to be honest with her.

"I think I'm going to divorce Alisha" Haikal said, to Ainisha's surprise.

"What, divorce?"
