Chapter 53. Following Husband

The household life of Ainisha and Haikal seemed to meet a new chapter. A difference of opinion and a conflict began to arise between them. They can finally accept and forgive each other. When Ainisha went to work, Haikal left Haidar with his father-in-law. He will try to find a new job. Armed with his experience and the diploma he had, he should have found it easier to get a job.

"Already, Mom. He even apologized to me for banning me from work yesterday" Ainisha replied.

"Mom's not going to interfere in your household affairs. It is Haikal's responsibility to make life happy for his son and wife. When a husband struggles for it, a wife must support him. When Haikal takes you away, as a wife you must follow. Wherever your husband goes" said Ms. Minarsih, looking at Ainisha gently.

"Not that Ainisha wanted to oppose Mas Haikal's decision to work in his father's company, but what about my father and mother?" ask Ainisha sadly.

"I'm sure your parents' thinking will be the same as mine. They definitely want the best life for their daughter's wedding. As long as Haikal can take responsibility for your life and future, your parents will definitely let you go. You can visit him at any time" replied Ms. Minarsih.

After listening to the enlightenment from Bu Minarsih, Ainisha felt that she was indeed a little selfish. Too stubborn to keep working alone and not take into account Haikal's position as head of the household. Haikal had a greater right to be given the opportunity to take responsibility for himself and Haidar.

Therefore, after work, Ainisha went to see her parents, in a restaurant that turned out to be quite a lot of customers. Ainisha sat down and observed the atmosphere of her parents' restaurant, which could develop with Haikal's help.

"Anisha, why did you come here?" ask the mother who saw Ainisha sitting alone.

"Anisha wants to stop by and see the efforts of father and mother," Ainisha replied with a smile.

"Would you like to eat?"

"No, Ma. Just pack it for home" replied Ainisha.

"Your husband left Haidar with us this morning. I'm actually sorry to see Haikal have to berate work. Though he only just had to say 'Yes' to his parents then he could lead the company owned by his father," said Bu Semi while looking at Ainisha sadly.

"Mother, if Mas Haikal works at his father's company, then we have to move as well. What about you guys?" ask Ainisha sadly.

"Anisha, when you were little, you were our property and responsibility. But after you get married, you belong to your husband. So wherever your husband goes, you have to come. Rest assured father and mother will be fine" said Miss Semi reassured Ainisha.

After gaining the confidence of her mother, Ainisha soon returned home. Ainisha went home while bringing fried rice for the three of them to eat. Ainisha hoped that it was not too late for him to make Haikal reconsider his decision which had run aground due to Ainisha's selfishness.

Arriving home, Ainisha rushed to clean up and changed clothes. She showed herself to her husband and children. They eat casually and while chatting. They enjoy the togetherness that they have felt for a few days since the Haikal company went bankrupt. It turned out that behind the calamity there was still happiness left for their little family. They are still grateful for this favor, even if it is as small as possible.

"Mas, you got a job?" asked Ainisha starting the conversation.

"Yet. They don't seem to want to hire people like me. The reason for that was because they couldn't pay high for a person like me. Though I told you, paid however much I received. It must be just their reason for rejecting me. Ah, that's sad" Haikal replied sadly.

"Then you can work in your father's company" Ainisha said.

"No. Why do I work there, if I have to be away from you and Haidar," Haikal replied while holding Ainisha's hand.

"We'll go wherever Haikal goes. How is it possible that I will leave my beloved husband alone there and what if you are taken by someone else?"

"I'm an item, it could be a snatch. I have a heart and a feeling. And both are yours. So, no one will ever be able to take me away from you" Haikal replied with a sweet smile.

Ainisha saw Haikal very happy. Like when she was happy to get permission to work, now she gave permission to her husband to work according to her husband's wishes.

Tonight, Haikal and Ainisha started packing. They have decided to leave tomorrow afternoon. Because in the morning they had to say goodbye to Ainisha's parents and Ms. Minarsih. Because after all, they will not meet for a long time.

The next day, the three of them go to Ainisha's parents' house to say goodbye and ask for your blessing so that their married life and their economic condition will be better. Prayers from parents will be more effective than anything.

After her parents' room, Ainisha and Haikal say goodbye to Ms. Minarsih. As Ainisha's second mother, Ms. Minarsih promised to give Ainisha and Haikal a special gift someday. Although Ainisha and Haikal were very curious, but because Ms. Minarsih did not want to tell him what the gift was, they could not force it.

Ainisha and Haikal rent a car to go to her parents' house which is quite far from their town. This almost 5-hour journey, then they arrived at the home of Haikal's parents.

They were standing right in front of a house that was quite luxurious and large. Haikal immediately invited Ainisha to enter the house. However, Ainisha stopped in the courtyard of Haikal's parents because there was doubt in her heart. Will she be able to live with her in-laws?
