I quickly sent a message to Horikita and she immediately replied to me quickly.
"Are you getting messages from school right now?"
"yes"
"I was appointed to meet at 18:00. How's yours?"
"I was appointed at 20:40. Looks like our assigned meeting time is different”
"I get it. at 20:40 huh?" Same time as Kushida. I wondered in my heart whether they would divide a boy and a girl. But it was impossible, I was told in my message that the exam started at 18:00.
"I'm curious about the difference in starting time, this could lead to injustice between disciples of various groups."
"I can't say for sure at this point". We sent messages back and forth but soon there
a message from Horikita.
"There are things that I would like to discuss further but there is no more time, since your meeting time is early, please report back to me" he said briefly.
"Understand" I then turned off my phone.
"Amazon-kun?"
While I was focused on talking to Horikita, Kushida looked at me as if asking me what was wrong. I thought for a moment if I should tell Kushida about the same meeting time as Horikita, but it would be very disturbing to do so. I decided to wait and see how things like this played out. It shouldn't be too late even if I act after getting more information.

I received a message from the school informing me of the meeting place and the designated location.five minutes before the appointed time I arrived at my destination. Room 204 on the second floor. The students in the corridor all entered into their respective rooms. I couldn't recognize any of them, but the students went back and forth past me and into each other's rooms.
“Murid from another class, yes?” I wondered in a loud voice.I was originally thinking of waiting outside the room but thinking back, I thought the meeting might have started without me noticing that I was rushing towards the room. I knocked and received a quick answer.
"Come in".
Apparently I was given permission to enter, I entered the room. There I saw the homeroom teacher of Class A, Mashima-sensei sitting on a chair. There were two male students sitting in front of Mashima-sensei as well. Both are from Class D and people I know.
"Ahh, so the remaining 2 of our group are Ayanokouji-dono, kopo!"
The disciple who issued the statement ending in this strange accent was none other than Sotomura. A boy of this unattractive type from our class who looks like an otaku. A person who is familiar with machines and history as well as other pieces of trivial things although unexpectedly he is bad at communication.
"Isn't this weird, Ayanokouji?" The one who asked me that question was the one sitting next to Yukimura named Sonomura. Sonomura and Yukimura. I never really noticed the relationship between them. Looking back, I wonder how their friendship started.
"What are you doing? Sit down "
we were instructed to sit near Mashima-sensei. Thus, I sat quietly beside Yukimura who was sitting beside Sonomura. The strange thing that I was a little worried about was that there was another chair beside me that was still empty. It seemed like we were put into a group of four students from the same class with one teacher watching over us.
Judging from this tone he delivered, this late fellow would not get much trouble even though we had to wait. Of course, in order to ensure justice for all the disciples, it made sense to give us an explanation of the test when all the members of the group were gathered. Regardless of whether it was a written test or surviving on an uninhabited island, this remained the same. However, this exam seemed like it was going to take place in this small room. What does that mean, I wonder. Or maybe I'm just too worried about this.
In both cases, I will get my answer as soon as the last member of our group arrives. While sitting on the chair, I thought there was no need to speak anymore until now. Waiting for our last member, a heavy silence fell on us. The scheduled time is already suitable at this point so personally I would like for our last member to appear as soon as possible. The second of the clock was the only sound that filled the room. Soon the watch was showing at 18:00 and Mashima-sensei saw the clock just once before a knock on the door sounded. As in my case, the teacher told the person to come in.
"Excuse me" A voice rang out as the last member of our group finally joined. Karuizawa Kei who walked into the room and sat down on the chair next to me.
"Eeeh ... kenapa Yukimura-kun dan yang lainnya di sini?" Itulah yang ingin aku ketahui juga. Aku merasa
a little embarrassed at this point. Sonomura did not think about the situation at all but Yukimura looked a little strange.
"I thought of a message
it told all the disciples to be on time, you're late" Mashima-sensei reprimanded Karuizawa.
"Sorry" Karuizawa seemed to be dissatisfied with Mashima-sensei's words and our general existence. My eyes met Karuizawa for a moment and she quickly lifted her chair and gave us some distance. Even if it was only 1mm the distance that increased between us, I
feeling a little depressed so she gave me the idea of hating close to me.
"Sonomura, Yukimura, Ayanokouji and Karuizawa. Now I'll explain the contents of the special exam" I can guess this from the message we received, but I'm a little curious about the exam itself. But, the arrangement
the group of 4 students and 1 teacher still confused me. I have a troublesome feeling about this exam
"alright. Wait a minute, I don't understand what this means, what does it mean to explain the exam? Isn't the exam over? And what are these people doing here? Isn't this weird?" Karuizawa immediately threw a barrage of questions towards Mashimasensei. I wonder if he can't keep quiet for a while. I was thinking if he even took the trouble of reading the message properly before coming here.
"I wouldn't
answer the question again at this stage, so listen quietly"
Mashima-sensei instantly responded to Karuizawa like that while looking at her sharply. Clearly, the teacher part of the school had no intention of answering such a question at this point. Mashima-sensei is known as a cold and strict teacher by the students, it seems like this also applies to him now. Chabashira-sensei is a kind of soft teacher who teaches quietly. On the other hand, it seems like Mashima-sensei is always firm and flat-spoken.
"In this particular exam, the, all 1st grade students will be divided into groups based on their zodiac and the entire exam will be conducted in groups of students who share in the same zodiac as the four of you here. The test is to assess your 'thinking ability"
According to the zodiac, right? so 12 groups will be formed of all 1st grade students. So Class D itself will be divided into 3 groups and added to the mix of other classes to form the 12 groups needed for each zodiac? I think like that. And what do they mean by 'thinking ability'? If I mean it really, it means that it will test our ability to think.
"What do I mean by 'thinking ability'?" Karuizawa who had just been asked to be quiet started asking questions again. It might have been unintentional, but it seemed that he was unwilling to listen to Mashima-sensei's words.
"I've told you that I won't answer the question" Even Karuizawa seemed to now understand the gravity of the situation as she fell silent. Of course I looked at him and it seemed like he had a dissatisfied expression on his face. But I chose to shut up and listen. Yukimura and Sotomura also took this situation very seriously as they also listened to Mashima-sensei intently.
"There are three things that are needed so that people who benefit well in society are required to master: Action, thought, teamwork. It is necessary for all of you to be successful adults. The last test on the island emphasizes teamwork which is quite heavy, but this will hone your mind. The ability to think critically, analyze existing situations and solve given problems will be tested in this exam. Ability to work creatively with imagination and work with determination to solve problems. Such traits would be the crux for this test."
Mashima-sensei explained our entire exam. Of course, I still have some questions regarding this exam that I want to ask him. Many aspects of the exam are still unexplained and unclear to me.
"Therefore this exam will be conducted with 12 groups that part according to their zodiac and the exam will take place under those conditions" Mashima-sensei continued. "Is there a question?" he finally said that.
