Because Rubi never entered, the mother followed Rubi to the porch of the house.
"Who, Bi?" ask the mother. The look of his mamah eyes was fixed on the figure of the man before Rubi who almost made him half-dead shock was sitting on the porch chair in very wet clothes.
"Nanda" said the man, calling his mother's name.
"Aldo?"
"Bi, get me a clean towel in Mama's closet" Nanda told her daughter.
"Yes, Mah,"
After being convinced that his mother knew the man, Rubi immediately stepped into the house. He turned on the milk-white, box-shaped porch light. Without being ordered, Rubi makes warm tea in the kitchen, while filling a small jar with chips and arranging it on the tray, then taking a clean towel in the closet.
Silent
No conversation at all. The house is a small house with only 4 rooms. The kitchen room immediately merges with the living room, next to it there are only two small rooms and a bathroom next to the kitchen. So it was impossible if their conversation was not heard by Rubi.
"Is that our daughter, Nan?"
"No, Aldo. She's my husband's daughter" Nanda replied firmly.

Bitter memories of the past mapped out one by one in Nanda's memory, as Aldo took one of his daughters from solitary confinement due to being born prematurely. Aldo does not know that Nanda gave birth to twins. So only took one daughter.
It's very much Nanda's feeling to remember what happened that night. The night Aldo took one of his daughters forcibly.
"Ah, fairly. You left me for Lisa and now you're left for the others" Nanda said with a smile.
"I'm sorry, Nan. Come back to me."
"Sorry, Al. It won't be that easy to forget the pain. I've been so happy without you."
Silent.
No tears Nanda fell, despite trying to hold him, he still could not resist the pain that slashed his old wounds again when calling Lisa's name. The woman who separated herself and Aldo.
After gulping down all his drinks, the man finally left Nanda.
"Al, wear an umbrella, I'll get it for you. It's raining so hard!"
"Thank you, but, I don't need an umbrella, Nan. I need you more."
Aldo refused Nanda's help even in the most gentle way. Breaking through the torrent of rain that never subsides. He who used to look gallant with arrogance, is now so weak without a handle. He even walked on foot instead of riding his white car. He who used to be so proud to leave Nanda and the baby in his stomach without the slightest pity, now leaves Nanda with the pain of being rejected by the woman he wasted.
Nanda and Aldo's two-year marriage has been unable to erase love from their past. Lisa, a beautiful doctor who has been Aldo's lover since Junior High has become another dream woman belonging to Aldo after knowing Aldo officially married Nanda because he was betrothed by his mother.
The harsh reality is revealed when Aldo is found making out with Lisa at a restaurant. Aldo decided to leave Nanda instead of upsetting Lisa. Nanda leaves Aldo and settles down in a small town on Java.
