Dear Enemy

Dear Enemy
Chapter 16 - Attack

Jefferson raised his fist repeatedly towards Ella until the woman was cornered, just as the calculations were fitting, Ella immediately held back the man's hand that was used to attack her. He used his feet to counterattack. Performing a kick that directly leads right to his face. Jefferson could not escape. The man fell on the floor with the part of his face injured. Ella moved from there. But just a step away, the man immediately restrained his legs. He pulled Ella until she fell on the floor.

Jefferson stepped up, trying to overlap the woman's body with his. Ella moved first, the woman rolled in the other direction and quickly got up from her position. Ella faced Jefferson who now rose up while chuckling softly. “Hahaha... It turns out you are quite talented too.”.

Damnit. He gave me no choice at all. I have to do something. Ella tried to catch her breath. On the other hand, he heard his partner constantly yelling trying to ask what happened. Since then they have continued to hear the fight that occurred between him and the man in front of him.

“Red code! I need help. Immediately send help!” whisper Ella while pressing the button on her handsfree. As he tried to enlist the help of his other friend, Jefferson got up and ran towards him with a fist that was now ready to float on him. Ella who caught the attack immediately moved. His hand pressed a button on his watch that instantly turned his watch into an iron hand protector. He used that thing to repel his attacks.

Jefferson grimaced in pain when he hit it was a hard iron. The man looked at his hand. Ella moved, the woman stood there. Seeing what had just happened, Jefferson realized that the woman was no ordinary woman. He had equipment that was also unusual.

Ella removed the hairband on her head and placed it on her other wrist. After that his hand was busy curling his hair with the help of a wire clip that was always kept behind his hair. Ella pressed the pendulum on the hairband now attached to her other wrist, and in an instant it turned into the same hand protection.

“I warned you that you cannot enter someone's house at will.” Ella looked at him with a fierce face. The woman jerked her hands together until a knife came out from both wrists where her protector was attached.

Jefferson was silent with a surprised face. “You. Worth your leather ability—“

The srekk!

Ella continued to attack him until the man was overwhelmed. He moved backwards with great difficulty counterattacking. Ella attacked him nonstop and led the man towards the exit. Right on the doorstep, Ella pushed and closed the door. Jefferson fell outside with an injured hand. The man was upset and did not want to stay silent. He got up and tried to open the door, but Ella had locked it tightly. Having no other choice, the man decides to warn his two friends about Ella.

After taking care of Jefferson, Ella immediately walked to the place where James was.

...*...

James was no longer able to focus on his breakfast when he heard a noise from the direction of the living room. The boy had just got off his chair, intending to check what was going on there. “I heard a noise, what is going on? Could something happen to Ella?”

“James!” A voice heard him. It made James stop and spontaneously turned to the direction of the sound. From the direction of the kitchen table, he saw his mother bowing down there as if she were hiding.

“Mum?” James, who saw this, hurried to him. He's approaching the kitchen. But as soon as he got there, James saw Sheilla crawling towards one of the wide-open lower cabinets. The woman came in and put her hands on her lips as if she was signaling her not to be noisy, while shortly after, she said, he pressed a small button and James saw his mother go down along with the floor inside there. James was silent with a amazed face. He moved about to follow what he had just seen. Once there, the floor was raised again and the figure of Sheilla he saw had disappeared. James intended to follow his mother, but the voice from the direction of the living room first caught his attention.
