Chapter 17 - The Good Child

“She is no ordinary woman. He seems to be an agent or something assigned to guard this house. He has the equipment to protect himself. Even I am now injured and trying to get in. You have to be careful,” Jefferson told Trez who is currently with Rieko. Hearing that, he immediately said that to Rieko. Just now they were about to go split up looking for the HACS they had to find. Ella immediately came and attacked them from behind.

Trez and Rieko who realize it spontaneously dodge and try to protect themselves. They are engaged in a fight with Ella who tries to stop them from finding James with the tools in her hands. Ella goes to great lengths to keep them from seeing her foster children because she knows enough about the black organization called SOTD. More than the information he got last time about the syndicate, they are conducting an experiment involving children from several countries to turn them into a dangerous and deadly new technological machine.

“I've warned you to go!” Ella continued to attack the two until they were overwhelmed. Rieko and Trez had trouble keeping up with her rapid movements.

The object can emit an electric shock when the tip comes into contact with the body of the object. Seeing Rieko being overwhelmed and barely having a chance to strike back, Trez helps him by attacking Ella.

Ella gasped in shock as her body suddenly stung from behind. The woman immediately drooped on the floor in a limp state. Trez smiled as he looked at her while Rieko looked at him while thanking him. “Now let's find that thing.”

Ella was still trying to maintain her consciousness. The woman tried to endure it, yet she was completely helpless because her body was too limp. “Don't you dare touch anything in this house!”

Ella said in a stark manner. Trez and Rieko only looked at him with cold faces. “You'd better stay here if you don't want to fared worse! Now let's find it again!”

James ran over and directly crouched down nearby to confirm the woman's condition. Ella turned anxious when she saw James coming towards her, because as soon as the child came, Rieko and Trez immediately stopped while looking at her.

“Ella, are you okay?”

“James, what are you doing here? Don't come in here. Here dangerous, quickly go!” Ella tried to ask the boy to leave from there. But James completely heeded his sentence and kept silent while looking at him with an anxious face.

“Rieko!” Trez pointed at the thing in the boy's grasp. The thing in his grasp was the thing they were looking for HACS. The tools they should have got and they brought.

“Good son. You came so we wouldn't have trouble finding you, did you?” Rieko smirked. He approached James. Seeing this, Ella tried to protect James by pulling the child's body behind his back. Ella wakes up and sits on the floor with James on her back.

“Don't you dare touch it!” Ella looked at him fiercely.

“What are you going to do?” Rieko looked at him no less fiercely. Beside him Trez had already clasped back the weapon that had been used to incapacitate him. At the same time, they heard the front door being broken into, and Jefferson stepped inside. Rieko further flashed a smile the moment she saw the man arrive. “You're stuck!”
