Fernando growled in annoyance as he set foot in his magnificent home. There was no one to welcome him but silence. The waiter and the neatly lined up attendants greeted him like he could even seem to ignore him. They tend to be welcoming to formalities only. Sofia's smile or Rafa's funny laugh is like lost without a trace. Even the servants who greeted him at the door also just bowed respectfully to him without being willing to interact with him.
