Alya sat stiffly next to Arga who was receiving a phone call, deep in her own thoughts and barely uttering a word during the trip back to the lake house. His mind was still filled with the shadow of Nesya's disappointed face, then Arga's sudden expression of love for her.
He should be happy, knowing how Arga really feels. But the opposite happened, he felt guilty to Nesya for taking Arga from him.
Why did the man never tell her that he was still in a relationship with another woman when he asked her to marry him? The question now continues to spin in his head. The woman was very beautiful, and her appearance looked perfect. Must be from a family like Arga. In stark contrast to her who came from an ordinary family with a very simple appearance.
I heard her heavy breathing. Alya closed her eyes while leaning her head against the back of the chair behind her, when the pain suddenly hit her chest. Something disturbed her heart, making her flinch and Alya instantly opened her eyes.
“Ay, mommy tipped greetings.” Arga's soft voice distracts Alya, the man whispers with the phone still stuck in the ear.
Alya turned her head quickly, instantly her cheeks blushed feeling a warm gust of Arga's breath on her face. He put his face back, smiled and nodded trying to cover up his nervousness. It has been half a year since he married Arga, but still the nervousness always controlled him especially when he was in such a close distance as now.
“Mama is equally papa outside the city, so can not pick us up. The day after tomorrow. Bang Rivan was also again on set, returning home the night. Tomorrow morning he said he wanted to take breakfast together in his cafe,” added Arga again, and Alya again nodded in understanding.
“As of You, only. I recited,” said Alya slowly.
Arga raised one hand and grabbed Alya's shoulder, rubbed her slowly and then lowered her face and gave a glimpse of her forehead. “You're sleepy, Ay? If sleepy, just sleep first.”
“No sleepiness, kok.” Alya shook her head in response, and stretched Arga's embrace on her body. But apparently what he said was not in line with what happened afterwards. His mouth suddenly opened wide and Ikapnya just escaped, without Alya had time to close it. Arga laughed looking at her, and Alya blushed in embarrassment.
“Gold is the same as you, Ay. Here resting on my shoulder,” said Arga then pulled Alya's shoulder to get back to him.
“Tuh, someone called again.” Alya said as soon as she heard Arga's phone ringing again. Not just once, but repeatedly.
“I lift first, yes.” Arga released his embrace on Alya's shoulder and returned busy receiving calls from his friends who alternated contact, asking for news of himself and want to meet him face to face.
Alya tried to close her eyes again, and she was completely asleep. One gentle touch on his left cheek, made his eyes open. “Are we home?” muttered Alya with a hoarse voice.
Arga smiled as she brushed off the strands of Alya's hair that fell over her cheeks. “Already, since five minutes ago.” Answer lightly.
Alya's eyes widened, he looked back and saw the driver lowering their belongings from the trunk of the car and there was a housekeeper waiting on the porch. “Kok I'm not built, anyway?”
“To be willing I carried directly into the room, but hunted wake up when I kissed your cheek just now.” Replied Arga smiling as he lowered his brows.
“Do not try, yes. That new leg healed, can not be made heavy load. Remember what the doctor said. Still in recovery stage!” sergeant Alya fast.
“What is the same promise I?” Alya frowned, trying to remember.
“If my legs recover and can walk again, I promise to take you running on my back.”
“Oh, the.” Alya's face warmed up, he turned his gaze the other way just as the driver had finished moving the items onto the porch of the house. “Just relax, I will definitely remind you if I see your legs have recovered perfectly.”
Arga smiles to hear it, Alya then got off the car followed by Arga behind him. Her steps came to a sudden halt as soon as she heard Arga speak, “Tomorrow the night my friends will come here. The plan is impromptu, Ay. And I can't refuse them.”
“Tomorrow nights?” Alya repeated Arga's words, stunned for a moment. When they got married, none of Arga's friends knew, as did all of Alya's friends. Because everything was done quickly and suddenly, after the Arga foot treatment plan came to the fore. “Do they know about the relationship status between us?”
“I guess they all don't know.” Arga shook his head, his face changed suddenly. The single accident he experienced while driving under the influence of drinks, was indeed trying to be covered by his family. “Entah if Nesya open her mouth about meeting with us at the airport earlier.”
Arga looked at Alya as if she had just remembered something important, and Alya turned away from her gaze. He did not want the man to see the pain that was emanating from his eyes. From the beginning he realized that their marriage was secret and not known by the public, only close relatives knew. Even so, it still made Alya's heart hurt, especially after passing a lot of time together.
“If they don't know about us, it'll be much better. Besides, I promised my mother I'd visit her tomorrow. So you can get together again with your friends," said Alya, and no need to worry about anyone knowing about their relationship.
Alya hoped that the man before her would ask her to stay in this house to accompany her to meet her friends later. Didn't Arga love her, and it was just revealed. He prefers himself to his ex. But it seemed that his hope would not be realized, after hearing the answer from Arga's mouth.
“Send my regards to your mother. Sorry if I can't accompany you tomorrow, I'll meet her the day after tomorrow and pick you up.”
“Good, I'll convey.” Alya nodded and could only swallow her disappointment. He rushed into the house and immediately cleaned himself and chose to rest in his own room.
Until late at night, Alya was still asleep. He had not even woken up when Arga went into his room and intended to wake him up to take him to dinner.
The clock showed ten o'clock at night as Alya was awake and felt her stomach wriggle. He got up and washed his face, and looked at Arga first in his room. Looking at the medicine bottle on the table and smiling after seeing the contents, Arga had already taken his medicine without having to wait for him. His eyes turned to the bed. The man appeared to be asleep with the phone still in his hand.
Alya fixed the blanket on Arga's waist, then grabbed her phone intending to put it on the table. His eyes widened so much to see the many chat from Arga's friends, and one of them there is the name Nesya there. Many of Nesya's messages through the green application that has not been read Arga.
With trembling hands, Alya ventured to peek at the short message without opening it. The two lines of sentences that read by him suddenly made his chest tight instantly.
