Diamond Girl

Diamond Girl
Chapter 5. Hope

Bian Winata, a famous lawyer who is known to be firm and reluctant to colleagues and opponents because he always managed to win every case he handled in that court, unable to endure the sadness of seeing his youngest son lying weakly with his legs wrapped in casts up to the groin.

Bian sat by Arga's bedside and continued to hold his son's hand. Sometimes he turned his face away, rubbing his watery eyes.

“Pa,” call Arga in a soft voice.

Bian turned his face, trying to control himself. He had been told by the doctor who treated his son to be optimistic and not to show his sad face in front of his son. But still he was unable to hold back his tears.

“Yes, Son. Is there something you need, let Papa get it.”

Arga smiled bitterly at the face of his papa, sadness was clearly drawn there. “My circumstances must have been so severe that Papa cried like that.”

Arga never saw his father cry, nor did his grandparents die in a plane crash. But now, his father was crying seeing his son get hurt.

Bian shook his head strongly, “You will recover soon, Papa has already got the best doctor for you. They will come tonight also from ..”

“Pa, can Papa help me give this necklace to that woman, she is in this hospital.” Arga reached into his pocket and handed the necklace in his hand to Bian.

The deg! Bian Langaung remembered the story of Rivan. So the necklace was in Arga's hands, and the woman who spoke to Rivan last night was not making up a false story.

“Which woman, how can Papa know who the owner is?” Bian stared at the necklace in his hand.

Before he was taken into the operating room, Arga still had time to see the appearance of the woman who accidentally dropped her necklace until it fell on her neck. “Papa can tell Papa's men to look for the woman, I hope Papa can find her as soon as possible.”

Bian knitted his brows, “What if Papa doesn't manage to find him?”

“If not ... I'll feel so guilty to her.”

“How can you blame yourself, son. You guys don't even know each other,” said Bian was surprised to see the anxiety on Arga's face. “You should think more about your recovery first than how to return this necklace!”

“The woman is in this hospital, her hair is long and she is wearing glasses.” Clearly Arga frowned considering the woman who owned the necklace.

“Nak, the characteristics of the woman you mentioned are a lot in this hospital. At least we have to know what his name is,” said Bian.

“Papa, a woman like her is not much in this hospital, because only she has such a necklace. He looks sad and his face is pale.”

Bian just nodded resignedly, he went out of the room and immediately gave orders to his men to look for women with the characteristics as Arga mentioned.

Two of Bian's bodyguards elbowed each other after his boss came back in, “What should we do, aren't many long-haired women and wearing glasses in this place?”

And sure enough, not even five minutes had three glasses and long-haired women passing in front of them. But there was not a look of sadness on the faces of the women as their superiors had described.

Alya spurred the pace of his vehicle with moderate speed, heavy rain plus strong wind made him have to be extra careful when passing through a puddle-covered hollow road.

This afternoon there is only one address that must be delivered, and the place it is aimed at is an apartment area close to the port.

Alya rubbed the wet glass of her helmet, blurring her eyes. The food box near her feet was swaying and almost slipped off the hanger if only Alya did not hold it.

Luckily the road he passed was quiet, so he did not have to worry about passing other riders who passed the road.

Naas for him, just now Alya was about to turn to take a shortcut. From the front, the lights of a car are coming towards him.

“Aaarrgh!” Alya screamed loudly, he could not control his motorbike and fell down over his own motor body.

“You gapapa, Non. There's a wound, isn't it?” a person's voice distracted him, and he was surprised to recognize the face of the man before him.

“Master?”

“You?”

“Master who was at that time in the hospital, right.”

“You said back then that your necklace was with my sister, right?” said the man who was none other than Rivan, he was out driving his car to the hospital to replace his father after returning to work.

Rivan then helps Alya take his motorcycle to the side of the road, both of them then take shelter at the stop not far from where they were.

Alya chuckled, then grimaced to see the food box underneath. “Yeah, how to say it later the same boss sir. Crushed like this?”

“Sori, have made your food fall apart. Let me replace it with a new one,” said Rivan, then take out some red money from his wallet.

“How to change, Mr.” Alya refuses Rivan's money. “This meal is a special order from a Japanese restaurant, I am just a courier told to take orders to the customer's house.” Alya was clearly with a sad mimic.

“Oh, so you're the food courier of that Japanese restaurant?” rework Rivan again. “Try mentioning the address where?”

Alya then mentioned an address, and the man in front of him smiled broadly as he patted his forehead. “Jeez, order I own cuy!”

“Meanor?” alya was confused.

“So this food is ordered by my sister Arga who is in the hospital. Now he's conscious, and I want to look at him and bring him his favorite food.”

“This is my home address, and this is proof of order and proof of payment.” Rivan showed it to Alya.

“So how, this. If I have to compensate for this food, frankly I can't. I do not have money to buy food ordered by this Master,”, Alya said bluntly.

“Papapa, no need to replace. Let me buy it again later, and stop by the restaurant. His name was also unintentionally, I understand. You weren't wrong either. I'm the one who suddenly appeared in front of your motorbike, make you surprised.” Rivan calms.

“Thank you, Sir. Not unexpectedly, it turns out that the Master is very good.” Alya said sincerely.

“Ya already, I want to go directly to the hospital first,” said Rivan. “Be careful, if the rainy weather like this mending called his customer. Definitely want to be delivered until the rain subsides, rather than wet all.”

“OK, Mr.”

“By the way, whose name are you? I'm Rivan, and the one who's sick is my sister Arga.”

“I Alya, Mr.” Alya welcomes Rivan's hand. “Ehm, Sir. What may tomorrow I see Master's sister, I just want to take My necklace which is with Tuan.” sister

Rivan was silent for a moment, he looked at Alya face long judging her words. The face before him was plain and honest. “Bby, tomorrow morning you can meet Arga.”

“Thank you, Mr.”

Rivan smiled broadly at the twinkle in Alya's eyes, he then left Alya and walked towards his car.

It's still raining, but not as hard as it was. Alya looked up at the night sky, there was still hope for her mother, if she could get her necklace again.
