Diamond Girl

Diamond Girl
Chapter 4. Reawakened

Rivan wakes up in the middle of the night, the clock on the wall pointing right at the number 12. He is now awake alone. Widia and Bian have been coming home since then, and promised to come again tomorrow morning in place of Rivan who had to return to work.

The blanket, which covered his waist, got up and sat down for a moment to collect his life. His neck muscles felt stiff, Rivan massaged slowly until slowly the stiff muscles gradually loosened.

Hoaam! A wide gulp escaped his mouth, the man blinked his eyes. The coldness in the room began to feel like it was piercing his bones, he got up and walked closer to Arga's bed.

The man smiled as he rubbed the hair of his sister's head, then his hands went down to correct the location of the blanket that covered Arga's body to the limit of the chest.

The handsome face looked pale, his eyes wrapped in bandages up to the back of the head. Bruises on the left side of his face appear to be turning blue, and on his chin there are longitudinal scratches that have dried up.

“Hei brother, quickly wake up! I'm not tired of sleeping from yesterday. Well, outside there are girls who are looking for you, insistent on meeting.”

“He said, You keep her necklace. I don't believe her, but Mama told me to investigate it was a girl. Tomorrow, deh. Now it is very late,” said Rivan to talk Arga who is still unconscious.

Rivan pulled out a chair and sat down beside Arga, stunned for a moment while staring at the wound on his sister's face. “Actually what happened to you, Ga. Toni said before the incident you had a fight with Nesya.”

Rivan knows Arga is in a relationship with Nesya, a model and rising commercial star. However, due to the busyness of each, the two rarely meet.

Rivan smiled wryly, the person he asked was still unconscious until this moment. “Ga, wake up dong. I miss the storm with Lo.” he said in a hoarse voice.

Not feeling the corner of his eyes water, Rivan smiled and rubbed it with his fingertips. "Gara-gara Lo, Ga. I'm being a crybaby!"

Suddenly his eyes caught a small movement at Arga's fingertips, at first slowly like a twitch and then all five fingers moved.

“Arga!” Rivan stood up and brought his face closer to Arga. Slowly the eyes blinked, then before long the forehead frowned deeply.

“Ga, you are aware!” Rivan hits a button on Arga's head, and soon a doctor and nurse arrive and ask Rivan to wait outside while they check on Arga's condition.

Rivan rushes out of the room and immediately contacts his parents, informing them that Arga is awake and is currently being examined by a doctor.

While indoors, doctors and nurses were examining Arga's body. "Hello Arga,” greet the doctor is friendly.

Arga opened his eyes, he heard someone say his name. He opened his eyes, but only part of it was visible to him. The shadow of one's body was wearing white, twitching around him like a dancer.

“What do you feel right now?” the voice sounded again, and Arga closed her eyes again. It hurt like something was stuck in his left eye.

Huh! What question is that. His body felt weak, and his vision blurred.

“Where is this, what's with my body. Why did my vision become blurred, and I couldn't move my legs?” Arga tried to move his body, but only a hoarse groan could be heard coming out of his mouth.

“Master is now in the hospital. If your eyes are blurred, it is because your eyes are being bandaged.” The nurse answered Arga's question. “Master had an accident, thank God you are safe and our people who have brought you to this hospital.”

Didn't the nurse say her left eye was on the bandage! Arga raised his right hand with great difficulty, then felt his left eye continue to rise to the head. Arga was surprised because his head was bandaged.

“Master should not move much, just lie down first.” The nurse reminded Arga.

“What happened to my body?” His head was bandaged, his eyes were sore. Arga suddenly panicked, he then opened the blanket covering his legs and his eyes widened to see his left leg wrapped in a thick bandage from the tip of the foot to the groin.

Arga shouted furiously and thrashed, prompting the nurse who wanted to restrain his movements. As much as he could, he tried to move both his legs. Although his right leg moved a little, but still unable to shift his body.

“Let's quiet Mr, if you keep moving like this the stitches can be off all!” The doctor warns Arga, but the man continues to thrash.

“Sus, I'll try to hold this guy and Sister who has to do it!” the doctor ordered the nurse.

“Good, Doc!”

The nurse injected a needle into Arga's thigh, and again he thrashed. But soon his movements weakened and his body drooped and fell asleep.

While outside the room, Rivan was talking on the phone with his papa. At first glance he heard a screaming sound from inside the room behind him, Rivan immediately disconnected his phone.

“You take good care of your sister there, tomorrow morning Papa comes. Now that your mama's asleep, pity to wake up.” Bian answered across the phone.

“Okay, Pa. Rivan. Yes, it was, Pa. Rivan wants to go in first, because the doctor has finished checking Arga.”

Rivan disconnects the phone, and goes back into Arga's ward. He saw his sister was asleep again.

The doctor came up to Rivan and spoke to him near the long sofa in the room. He explained how Arga's spontaneous reaction was during the rumination and the doctor had to give him an injection because the man had revolted after finding his left leg could not be moved at all.

“How about my Brother's left eye, Doc. Will the wound in his eye recover soon?” rivan asked with a stifled voice.

The doctor smiled and nodded his head, “Lucky once the impact was not to the extent of damaging his eye nerves. His eyes will recover soon, which needs to be considered is a fracture of his left leg. There were some broken bones in that section and it almost broke. We've tried to fix it as much as possible.”

Sadness flashed on Rivan's face, he turned to the bed where Arga was asleep with a pushy look. “What it means my sister will ca..”

“We can not guess what will happen next, the patient's family can seek treatment from the best specialist doctors as well as physical therapy. But it all depends on the patient himself.”

“How determined he is to heal and be able to walk back, the support and spirit of those closest to him is also very influential and will greatly help his healing process.” The doctor said again, patting Rivan on the shoulder, before leaving.
