AD CHAPTER 103 - A Message From A Friend
Morning comes.
The ringing of Jia's cell phone echoed inside this still quiet room. Alex was still in the bathroom and Jia was combing her hair in front of the dresser mirror.
Jia then got up and took his phone which was on the nightstand, seeing there was an incoming call from Daniel.
Without a second thought, Jia immediately answered the call.
"Hello Niel."
"Jia, where have you been? why didn't you meet Mr. Louis yesterday. Didn't you rent the building?" ask Daniel bertubi. He contacted Louis and asked about Jia and the rental of the building, but how surprised Daniel would be if Jia did not come yesterday.
"Sorry Niel, only today do I want to see Mr. Louis. I was busy yesterday."
"Busy what?"
"Me and Alex registered our marriage."
The deg! Daniel was glued, suddenly gambled and did not know what to respond to. Just enjoying his chest feeling tight.
"Why so fast?" ask Daniel lirih.
"Just want to stir up good intentions."
Suddenly Daniel lost all his words, he didn't know what to say anymore. Until Jia's soft voice came back to resuscitate him.
"Niel, are you still there?" jia asked, the call between them was long enough silent, there was a pause that made it seem as if the call had been interrupted.
And Daniel gulped down his gulp rough before returning to his voice.
"I'm just a little surprised, I'm sorry and .. congratulations on your marriage."
Hearing that Jia smiled, naturally she was very happy when one of her friends gave her congratulations.
"I really hope your marriage this time will be successful, but Ji .. May I say something?" ask Daniel.
But Jia had not been able to allow, Daniel had already continued his speech.
Jia was silent, that was exactly what she wanted to do now. Love Alex and love himself. Jia will grow into a stronger woman, able to even stand on her own feet.
"Thank you, Niel, I'll always remember your message."
"If Alex forbid you to see me would you do that?"
"Why talk like that? why would Alex ban it?"
"Maybe he's jealous."
Jia chuckled, "My husband isn't like that."
"Currently, disgusting call."
Jia's laughter was getting clearer.
"We'll see, if Alex forbids you to see me, I'll laugh out loud in front of your face."
Jia snorted, she was sure Alex would not do that. Not about jealousy, but about the trust they have to give their partner.
after all, living in this world they do need to socialize, not only with fellow women or fellow men, but with both.
After threatening Jia like that, Daniel disconnected his phone and shortly afterwards Alex came out of the bathroom.
Seeing Jia sitting on the edge of the bed and holding her phone.
"There's a phone?" alex asked, standing with his half-peeled body, he only used a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Yes, call from Daniel," Jia replied honestly.
But hearing Daniel's name so early makes Alex feel uncomfortable, he does not like to see the closeness of Jia and the man. In the past Alex did not have the right to prohibit, but it feels now Alex wants Jia to stay away from Daniel.
"Why? how did his face get so stiff? Daddy's not mad, am I friends with Daniel?"
