AD CHAPTER 71 - Can I Be Selfish?
At 10 am.
After the re-examination, Sofia was finally allowed to go home.
Daniel holds Rayden as Jia and Alex help Sofia out of her wheelchair and move into the car.
"Niel, come visit our house" Sofia told Daniel.
Sofia knows the Lincoln family well enough, they're both in the upper ranks.
"Other times Mrs Carter, today was quite busy," Daniel replied with a friendly smile.
"Don't call me that, I know your parents well enough. Just go get aunty."
"All right, Aunt."
After Sofia is perfectly seated, Alex takes Rayden by Daniel and sits him in the middle seat, leaving Jia and Daniel both beside the car.
"I'm coming home" said Daniel to Jia, he looked at the two beads. Enough to calm him down.
"Yes, thank you for today."
"Thank you to Rayden."
"Why?"
"Because of Rayden I came here."
Jia grunted in annoyance, willing to say a word of thanks just bothered once.
While Daniel immediately chuckles, until now teasing Jia remains his hobby.
"Come on," Alex invites who is suddenly present between Jia and Daniel.
Jia nodded, then they parted ways. Daniel's headed to his own car. Alex and Jia. Sofia and Rayden used another car.
"Is Daniel a good man?" alex asked when he and Jia had sat perfectly, the car had even sped up following Sofia and Rayden's car in front.
"Yes, Daniel is indeed a good person," Jia replied honestly.
While Alex who heard the answer was only able to smile wryly. He tried hard to dampen the already burning jealousy.
Trying to think that Jia is lucky to be surrounded by good people. Something she should be grateful for as well.
"Al."
"Hem."
"We'll go to my house for a second, yeah, I'll take something."
"All right." Alex nodded.
"You don't want to go down?" jia also asked because Alex just stayed in his chair.
Not that Alex did not want to enter, but he was afraid of not being able to control himself when in a room just alone with Jia. Alex doesn't want him to get out of control and go back to making Jia hate him.
"No, I'll call Sean."
"Phone inside only," Jia also pinta to make Alex difficult to answer.
And finally Alex could only nod. Then come down and enter into Jia's house.
He actually contacted Sean despite not knowing what his purpose was. Call while standing up agitated.
"South."
"Yes, sir" replied Sean in a steady voice, ready to do whatever task the Master gave him.
"What are you doing?" ask Alex, make Sean immediately snort. Looking back at his phone is this really a call from Alex.
It is true, indeed his master.
"I've just been from the police station, sir, Miss Amora's case is being processed, then just staying in the care of our lawyer."
"Hem, okay."
Alex disconnects the call, leaving Sean at the other end confused. His master is like a man without a job. Though about Amora, Alex has raised his hand. He wants Amora to go to jail without her interfering.
Not yet had time to put his phone in his pants pocket, Alex was already made stunned by the arrival of Jia.
The woman was wearing a home dress, with her hair tied high. The new clothes that Jia bought using her first salary yesterday.
Jia looks so charming, like that alone has made Alex speechless.he continues to look at Jia clingy.
"Come, this is what I took." said Jia, lifting the paper bag in her right hand.
But Alex did not agree, instead fixated.
"Al." called Jia again, he moved his hand on Alex's face until dady Rayden finally realized.
"Why you?" ask Jia.
"May I be selfish Ji?" ask Alex anyway, instead of answering he replied to the question.
"Any about what?"
"About you, can we get back together?"
