AD CHAPTER 50 - Rayden Is a Drug

After two weeks of marriage, Niko visits her mother's house. Her mother who just came out of the bathroom saw Niko's arrival with her clothes bag was astonished.

“Ririn where's Niko?” ask mother.

“At home Bu.”

“Why wasn't your wife invited here?” ask mom Tanti.

“Tomorrow Niko will be on duty outside the city of Bu, so tonight Niko sleeps at the home of Mother.”

“You're nothing anyway.... I got married but slept here. What would your in-laws say if you saw you staying at your own mother's house,” explained Mrs Tanti.

“Niko has been saying goodbye to Niko's mother and father-in-law and they don't matter Bu.”

“How long have you been outside the city of Niko?”

“Possibility a week Bu.”

“It should be your wife, you bring all of them here let her stay here with mom. Even though you are on duty outside the city, it is not wrong that she lives at home mom.” Miss Tanti looks a little disappointed.

“What mother mean?” niko did not understand.

Niko was silent for a moment. Seeing Niko not responding to her mother's words, Tanti asked again.

“Mothers see you don't seem happy. Are you sorry to be married to Ririn?”

“Entahlah Ma. But it feels like Niko hasn't been able to accept Ririn. Niko still thinks of him, Niko's sister. Our relationship became more strained after we got married. We were very familiar before. But once married we rarely talk. Moreover, Ririn is famous for being quiet.”

“But Niko can't be ma'am. Niko has tried to love Ririn and replace Widya in Niko's heart, but can't either. Because we were close since childhood and Niko still think Ririn is a sister.

Ririn who felt that her husband could not accept it wholeheartedly felt familiar when Niko stayed at her mother's house even though there was a little disappointment tucked in her heart. After dinner, Niko enters the room and turns on the tv. While lying on the couch Niko watching tv. Eventually, Niko fell asleep on the couch.

Sometimes to cover the suspicions of her parents, Ririn also entered the room when her husband had entered the room. Once when Niko entered the room and Ririn chatted with her parents in the living room, then her mother immediately told her to come in.

“You accompany your husband in Ririn's room,” his mother said.

Outside City Tasks

It's been a week of Niko's out-of-town duty and today Niko's plan is to go home. As soon as he came home from the office Ririn immediately took a shower. He deliberately dressed in front of a mirror and did not forget to wear a little perfume. The room was arranged as neat as possible so that when her husband came home she could linger in the room.

Although they have been married for a month, Niko is still cold. Even when duty outside the city Niko never contacted his wife asking for news of his wife. But Ririn kept trying to make her husband love her.

She could not wait for her husband to come. To relieve her sense of boredom Ririn fell on her bed and played her phone. Time passed and magrib arrived, Niko did not come home either. Ririn was worried because it was almost night her husband did not come home too, but when he was leaving Ririn had asked Niko about until home at what time. Niko tells Ririn that there is no obstruction usually at five in the afternoon has arrived home. But it's already late in the night Niko hasn't come home either.

‘Why mas Niko hasn't reached home yet. Did something happen to her?’

A very worried Ririn ends up calling her husband but Niko's phone is off. Finally Ririn exited the room and paced on the terrace waiting for her husband's arrival. Her feelings were not calm before her husband came home.

Why are you also going straight here. You should have gone home to your house first and met your wife because you were married, Niko.”

“Whatever why. If you feel bad living with in-laws, you can contract a house with Ririn.”

Niko just kept quiet listening to her mother. Actually Niko was lazy to go home not because she lived at home with her in-laws, but she felt more comfortable living in her own mother's house.
