The five-hour journey from Emertown to Heren takes Bia and Divan. Before leaving, they parted ways with the Kenan family who lived in Emertown as well as with Mrs. Carol and Melvi. Heavy for sure, especially Bia had never stepped on Heren before. He only heard how beautiful the city was.
Divan never stopped telling stories. He recalled almost every detail of the city while away with Mrs. Carol first. "There's lumah tigi. Mallna glass fir. Divan to cini. Same grandma," he said as he entered the city limits of Heren.
It is very different from Emertown. There are no classic buildings here. There are only high-rise buildings, luxury housing and shophouses. Heren has a fast train and also advanced digital machines. Robots began to be employed in restaurants to offices to help humans.
The streets in this city are also wide because of the density of vehicles. Even overpasses are built so as not to clash with economic activity under it.
Bia's eyes widened. The city is in stark contrast to Emertown. "Tigi's house!" designate Divan on the tallest building in the city.
"That's Grandpa's office" Dira said while still driving.
Bia amazed. "Yes? That's Kenan grouph's office called Black Tower?" ask Bia. The building is black. Dira nodded.
"Beautiful, huh?" Bia's eyes sparkled to see the building shining in the darkness of the night. Dira's car passed through the city streets. Arrive at a luxury residential gate.
"I built a house in the area. I don't think living in an apartment is good. There is no field where Divan plays. More than that, its safety. I'm afraid Divan went to the balcony without our knowledge" explained Dira. Bia nodded.
The car entered through a very high black gate. Four security guards were waiting for the gate. The garden ground that separates the gate and the front of the house. Bia sure, walking from the front of the house to the gate alone will make feet ache.
Arriving in front of the house, the three got out of the car and were greeted by several servants. House with modern and luxurious design. So big the terrace is just as wide as Bia's house in Mrs's hamlet. Carol.
"This is our house." While carrying Divan, Dira leads her little family in. The high ceiling of the house, crystal lights hanging in the entrance of the room and a circular staircase with a wide staircase. Bia never imagined she would live in a house like this again.
Dira walked up the stairs. There are eight doors on the second floor. Dira opened the first door on the right. There is a room with pororo wallpaper wall. Bed fit the wall. Dira seemed to know very well what her son liked.
"Polay!" exciting Divan. The boy came down from Dira's lap and looked at his toys.
"Is this not excessive?" bia asked to see how luxurious Divan's room was.
"He's my first child, I counted." In Divan's room there is a ball bath, slides to toy trains as well as toy cars that turn on automatically.
Bia was shaking her head while Dira chuckled to see Divan so happy to try his new toy. Dira approached Divan who was in a plastic ball pool. "You're happy, aren't you?" ask Dira.
"Happy! Divan's happy! Papah makacih," said Divan as he ran towards Dira, hugging the neck of his papa and then kissed Dira's cheek with anxiety.
...🍁🍁🍁...
At first it might be Divan no problem playing happily in his room. As soon as night fell, he began to look spoiled approaching Bia. Divan did not want to go down and continued to sit on his mother's lap.
Divan still thought the words of Dira who asked her mother not to sleep in Divan's room. However, this room was spacious and Divan felt small. "Mama, play here. Toys for mom. Bobokna's here, huh?" pinta Divan was terrified.
Bia raised Divan's body to lie on her lap. "Mama masa biarin Divan sleeps alone? Must have taken care of Divan, really."
Then the face of Divan was happy. His hand touched his mother's face. Bia feels like a return to the time when a new Divan was born. When her little son's fingers touched her face and rubbed her, Bia seemed to have no desire other than to make the child happy.
Bia kissed Divan's palm. "Well, dangan nangis," said Divan. The boy seemed to know what was in Bia's heart. Sadness, confusion, and all.
The sky is still dark. It had only been three hours since they arrived in Heren. It's nine o'clock in the night and Divan is still talking to Bia. While Dira still organize his studio.
"Grandma when is cini?" ask Divan.
"Let's go to Grandma's. Papah said Papah was on holiday. Now Divan plays every day with Mamah. Mom doesn't work anymore."
Although a bit disappointed away from Grandma who nurtured him, he was happy because he would spend time with his mother. Things that Divan has not been getting.
"Why not sleep?" dira asked as soon as he opened the door to Divan's room still heard the boy's voice. Lekas Divan hid by darkening the face in Bia's stomach.
Dira approached his wife and son. He wiped Divan's head. "Quick sleep, champ. It's late at night. You must be tired of long trips. You will be sick again" suggested Dira.
Divan's face is facing Dira. "Bobokna with Mamah. Dak sendili," pinta Divan with a face.
"Yes to Mamah. You must be afraid to be alone" said Dira. Divan's lips curled and there was a dimple on her cheek. Dira peeps Divan's forehead. "Now sleep, yes."
Gently Divan rubbed Dira's face and then kissed her Papa's cheek. "Divan bobok. Papah's night" he said.
Dira. "You're accompanying Divan to sleep. I'm going to sleep too, tired. A day of shaking hands until numb," said Dira. After that Dira went out of Divan's room and closed the door.
Divan came down from Bia's lap and went up to the bed. "Good, pat," Divan's plea. Lekas Bia lay down next to Divan and patted her back.
Divan hugged Bia tightly. While Bia gritted her teeth. Again Dira was acting so cold. It's not the kind of married life I dreamed of. There was no good night kiss nor a sweet greeting from Dira. In Dira's mind there is only Divan and as if affirming the reason Bia is in his house just because there is a Divan.
"If this continues, I will also consider my existence here only as Divan's mother, not your wife!" inner Bia.
Meanwhile Dira lay in her room. He looked at the ceiling of the room. Then her hands grabbed the pillow and hugged it. "Sabar Dira, your son needs his mother more now" he said.
