Father of My Son

Father of My Son
Husband of Telat Siaga

"So the ambulance came? Dira went straight to the hospital," said Dira with panic that had spread to the crown. He swerved and changed the path to the hospital that Mrs. Carol mention. Divan was born in the same hospital.

He has tried to speed as much as possible to quickly get to and with Bia. Unfortunately, Emertown's traffic jams at several intersections keep her wishful thinking on hold.

Dira tries to find opportunities by overtaking slower vehicles. The goal is only one, he does not want to miss the moment of the birth of his second child, the moment he missed for Divan first.

Sweat has run down the river. Dira's hands trembled and more than that his heart pounded until it felt tight. "Wait for me, my wife. Knowing you're going to give birth sooner, I'd rather take a day off" she lamented.

In Dira's mind there is only Bia now. He did not stop praying that his wife was given ease on the way to the hospital. Dira is always haunted by wounds imagining Bia walking alone on a bus to the hospital.

"Oh, don't jam donk!" mooed Dira while pressing the horn due to a queue of vehicles. It felt like Dira's head was exploding so badly with the streets of Emertown every weekend. Trucks carrying production materials combine with vehicles to the tourist attractions.

Thankfully, fifteen minutes everything was back to normal. Apparently there was a clash between the motorcyclist and the car due to an accident after the motorcyclist violated the red light.

Dira does not want to be involved, he has a much bigger thing for him to take care of than being involved with the selfishness of others. His feet were treading on the gas strongly. He was used to speeding when young first - now also young. It might be useful until .. he had to step on the brakes strongly due to a miscalculation that made his car almost hit the road barrier.

Stay a few inches longer, maybe not just a car destroyed, Dira can also end up in the hospital and even the grave. Dira rubs his chest. He took a breath and let it out slowly. "This time it's God, give it smoothness. This time just let me be with Bia. He needs me. Don't let him hurt himself anymore. I beg you," Dira prayed while shedding tears.

His hands shook so much that he held the wheel of the car almost like there was no power. His eyes also look dim. The feet and hands feel cold.

Dira closed his eyes for a moment. After his eyes opened, he remembered Bia. "Strong Dira, you can do it. Waiting for you," he said.

At that time, Dira rewinded the car and then turned it to the right until it returned to the road. Now he is learning to take his car in a quieter way. Slowly, but surely .. forty-five minutes later he arrived at the hospital.

Dira quickly got out of the car and locked his vehicle. He ran with all his might. He called Mrs. Carol to guide him to the delivery room.

"Where is it, ma'am?" dira asked as soon as they met on the second floor of the hospital.

"Not yet born. The doctor said there's still an opening eight. He just kept Young Master going," replied Mrs. Carol.

Bia was still lying on the patient's bed while holding her stomach which was painful. Dira doesn't waste time. He walked up to Bia and held her hand tightly.

"I'm here, Bia. Don't be afraid, will you?" said Dira gives strength. He stroked his wife's hair and kissed Bia's forehead.

"Here you go, huh? Don't go anywhere" pinta Bia. Dira nodded.

A few minutes of enduring the pain of the opening is not yet perfect, finally the thrilling moment begins. The baby's head is already in sight.

"A strong urge, Mrs Bia," the doctor advised. Dira holds his wife's hand. While Bia is still trying to catch her breath and push her baby out.

"Come, Bi. You definitely can. You're terrific. You can also fight with Divan, right?" said Dira. Quickly the man leaned his body. He kept Bia's hand on his shoulder. Then Bia's only hand he held firmly. "Hand hold on to me, we fight together."

Bia looked at Dira's face. Their gazes intertwined. Dira nodded as if giving strength and that Bia could feel. "Come, you can" said Dira.

Bia smiling. "Yes, I can. There's my husband here. There's the father of my son here," inwardly.

Bia tried to push again with all her might. The baby's head is indeed the most difficult part to remove, but after it comes out perfectly then the other body parts will be easier to get out.

Bia felt that, when her little baby slid into the lap of the doctor who helped her give birth. The baby immediately cried and like Divan once did, his little hands clasped, a sign of thirst asking for the tenderness and warmth of his mother's touch for the first time.

Dira saw a lot of blood coming out. Not to mention Bia's body that looks weak and doctors are still in the stage of removing the placenta. Dira was horrified by himself. Suddenly the pain seemed to be present in his body until his legs trembled.

"Why, Sir? That's why it's good for his wife. Giving birth was horrified," said the doctor while laughing to see Dira sitting limp on the floor due to seeing the state of his wife and blood that came out a lot.
