Father of My Son

Father of My Son
I'm Glad to Confuse You

At the end of the week Lily was picked up by her father-in-law's driver, apparently she really can't wait to meet her granddaughter again. As Lily promised, she and Adam will stay there.

Aric couldn't drive them, because of an important meeting this morning.

"Are you ready, honey?" ask Lily to her son who is packing.

"It's Mother" Adam answered cheerfully, putting the last toy in his bag.

"What did Adam bring that many toys for?" ask Lily in surprise.

Adam brought almost half of the toys in his room.

"You play with Grandpa, at Grandpa's house there are no small children Mother, there must be no toys," replied Adam innocently.

"Okay .. when we're ready to go now."

Lily helps Adam with her toy bag, and they leave in a pickup car waiting in front of the mansion.

In the middle of the trip Lily asked the driver to stop at a typical Turkish food store. When visiting some time ago, Lily only found out that her father-in-law likes the typical Turkish cover called baklava.

Lily bought a box of pistachio baklava rolls.

After traveling far enough, they finally reached the main house. Although it was second, Lily was still nervous. Lily's car was parked perfectly in the courtyard of the mansion.

Lily and Adam got out of the car after the driver opened the door for him. Lily's arrival was welcomed again by Bi Asih, the middle-aged woman looked very happy with Lily's arrival.

"Mrs, let me take you to the room." Bi Asih reached out her hand to bring the bag Lily was carrying.

"No need to Bi, let me take it myself," Lily refused subtly.

"But Madam, I do it with pleasure, I want to serve Madam." His old face looked disappointed. Lily could feel the sincerity highlighted in her eyes.

"Bi, can I ask you a favor?" ask Lily gently.

Bi Asih's face immediately sparkled.

"Of course Madam" he replied expectantly.

"Please Bi Asih take care of Adam, my hands are troubled to hold him," said Lily reasoned, even though he only carried a small bag and a box of baklava only.

"Of course, Madam." Bi Asih grabbed Adam's little hand.

"Young master, the great sir has already prepared a room for you."

"Wah ... really Bi? There's no toy?" ask Adam enthusiastically.

"There were a lot, yesterday the big master bought a lot of toys.".

Adam's tiny hands tightly grasped the large hands of Bi Asih who had been eaten by age. Lily watched the two who walked ahead of her. They are without affection, Lily can feel the love of Bi Asih to Adam. So sincere, even though they have only met twice.

Adam took off Bi Asih's grasp, with small steps he ran towards Hadid.

"Grandfather!" yells.

Adam smashed himself into Hadid's body, until the man staggered slightly back.

"Adam, slow. Later Grandpa can fall," said Lily.

Adam turned his head, he grinned to show off his white teeth.

"Sorry Mother, sorry Grandpa."

Hadid smiles. He lifted up Adam's body in his trunk.

"It's okay, Grandpa's still strong."

"Stay, if Dad fell down earlier how? Aric will definitely scold me," Lily said.

Lily drew closer to Hadid, grabbed the old man's hand and kissed him with reverence. Hadid's eyes glazed over, she was deeply moved by Lily's courtesy.

"Aric won't scold you, no matter what happens to me, son," Hadid said.

"Why do you say that, Aric loves you so much. Of course he'll be mad if you get hurt."

"I really hope that what you say is true, son."

Hadid was eager to be close to her eldest son, since childhood Aric was always far away from her. Especially after the incident at that time, Zahra the wife and Aric disappeared without news. After a few years, Aric came with news of his grief. Zahra died, and handed over Aric entirely to Hadid.

Even though Aric was with her. However, Hadid felt Aric was very far away. He always gave a clear boundary between them, Hadid aware of his mistake. Hadid hopes that Aric will forgive her.

"Definitely Dad, Aric must love me." Lily clasped the wrinkled hand, she could feel the sadness in her in-laws' eyes.

"I bought this for Dad." Lily gave a box of pistachios baklava, to divert their conversation.

"Baklava, it's been a long time since I've eaten it."

"Bi Asih, take it and save it. Serve for my afternoon tea later," Hadid added.

"Good sir."

Lily handed the baklava she brought to Bi Asih, the woman accepted it with a smile. Then step away.

"Rest, you must be tired. I'll play with Adan for a while. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask those who work here, this is also your home" Hadid said solemnly.

"Thank you Dad, Adam don't be naughty. Don't bother Grandpa."

"Good Mother!" exclaim Adam.
