Harvesting Yudha Cloves

The SEEDS of sadness were embedded in Mat Yusi's heart, especially when he was looking towards Jauhari and Patra. He did not care if the villagers started to hate him, but destroying their trust was painful.

His efforts all this time to live life properly like in vain. He could not understand why Yudha still attacked his honor at a time like this. In fact, he was ready, with Dul Sanif will help Yudha run a new business.

After leaving the Jauhari house, Mat Yusi immediately returned to the field. He immediately made a new, simpler hut to rest before nightfall.

It didn't take long for Mat Yusi to make it. The hut was only triangular in shape using a sackbed, and the sides were covered with foliage.

For Mat Yusi, it was already more than enough to simply protect him from the night wind. From the reservoir there, Mat Yusi looks like he is camping in the field. Dry twigs look already lit for Mat Yusi cooking water and instant noodles.

For some reason, moments like this, Mat Yusi felt defeated and longed to go home, longed for home, missed his parents. He had left everything without news for a long time.

If he had not been crazy about Halimah, maybe the story would have been different. However, Mat Yusi did not want to dissolve in his sadness.

The night is coming soon. Mat Yusi continued his work that was delayed. He wants, the field immediately clean and can be reused. Whatever Jauhari will do with his fields, it's a matter of later.

Meanwhile, in a place far from the settlement, it appears Sapri and Ikbal sneak into one of the clove fields that Yudha has controlled.

Ikbal invites Sapri to immediately enter the middle of the field. There, they rest for a while.

“If from the middle, people passing by will not see us,” said Ikbal took out a machete from inside a bag full of equipment and food.

“Good as well as your idea,” praise Sapri following Ikbal's plan to prune clove branches first. With clove branches that have been trimmed and collected into one, they can harvest it when night falls.

“We harvest below just let's be fast,” said Ikbal.  “Sekalgus became a fortress,” he explained again telling every plan that was in his head.

Sapri was really amazed by the plan. According to him, every plan Ikbal very reasonable and efficient.

Like when Ikbal asked him to look for clove trees that were close to each other first. Ikbal apparently wanted to make the tree trunk as a hut pole in the shape of a rectangle.

Sapri could not wait to find out the reason Ikbal when forbidding him to prune the branches of clove trees that have been used as poles.

“We still need lighting light with this teplok lamp,” point Ikbal after taking it from inside the bag. Ikbal then grimaced. “These clove leaves will cover the smoke and light from above,” Ikbal explained.

Sapri understood what Ikbal meant. He doesn't even count on that. “It turns out besides crazy, you're smart too. I'm sure if you become a striker, surely our football team will win,” Sapri praised.

Ikbal immediately stopped tying up the tree branch he was going to serve as the hut where they were staying tonight.

“You're kidding, right?” ask Ikbal. hope Sapri does not hold back.

“During this time I was less observant in preparing our team formation. In the match later, I'll show you as an attacker,” jawba Sapri.

“Lantas how about Sidik?” Ikbal was worried. The position of the attacker has always been occupied by Sidik. If he suddenly replaces her, Ikbal fears Sidik will antagonize him.

“He'll get me out of the team. In fact, the backup player did not,” Sapri replied in an annoyed tone.

Ikbal looks agitated. “Just because of this afternoon?” tanyanya.

Vigorously Sapri cut off the clove stem whose flowers already looked reddish. He dragged the branches around the hut that Ikbal was working on. As much as possible, Sapri arranged the branches to easily pick the clove flowers at night.

He then stood a bit away while observing the pile. True said Ikbal, the pile looks like a bush and at the same time serves as a wall hut.

“Try you stand inside,” pinta Sapri followed by Ikbal.

“How?” tanya Ikbal wanted to know the outcome of his plan.

“One great. We will not be seen by people,” said Sapri jubilant.

“If Yudha's men come too, they must be just watching from out there,” concluded Ikbal assured that their plan is very safe this time.

“Not too good to make the hut. Tomorrow night we'll burn too!” exclaims Sapri back to prune the clove branches. “At the very least, we can collect twenty bags of cloves until tomorrow morning.”

“Tomorrow morning we leave this place first. Whatever we get, we immediately take it to the warehouse of Yudha clove purchases,” Ikbal advice.

“You mean, after selling cloves, we go straight to school?”

“School is important,” says Ikbal. “If I predict, until tomorrow night we have a lot of cloves.  At dawn, when people are still sleeping, this field we just burn.”

Sapri scratched his head. He disagrees if he has to go to school. He wants to harvest cloves all day to get more results.

“How about you go to school. I'm staying,” pinta Sapri.

“If it's your choice, then I'll come back here after school and bring you food,” said Ikbal secretly did not want to tell all his plans.

Actually Sapri disagrees with Ikbal's decision. He wanted the two of them to continue harvesting cloves. However, seeing what Ikbal has done, with his clever ideas, Sapri feels hesitant to argue as he did to Sidik.

The afternoon began to fill the night. The branches of cloves that are trimmed have been collected a lot. The hut was finished. Ikbal took out the entire contents of his bag and arranged the food and drinks near the hut pole.

“Complete is also your default, Bal!” Sapri. “Sorry, I just brought this,” he continued showing fried bananas and drinking water. He went to his bike to pick up some of the sacks he had brought from home.

“We didn't come here for camping. As long as it is not hungry and thirsty, it means that our supplies are enough,” Ikbal said while tasting the fried food brought by Sapri.

The lamp was immediately turned on. They looked around the very dark clove fields. Sapri made sure once again from the outside. The light of the lamp was completely invisible.

Without delaying any more time, they immediately broke one by one the stalks of clove flowers from a branch that was wet.

Time continues to spread. When Sapri wanted to pee, he tiptoed when he saw the flashlight from out there. He immediately found Ikbal who was still picking clove flowers.

“There are people out there,” Sapri whispered.

Ikbal also watched from inside the hut by bending his head between the branches of cloves that are still complete with leaves.

“Turn off the teplok lights. We wait until the person leaves,” Sapri orders in a nervous voice.
