Firefields
Two Working Devotion

ONE-BY-ONE people came to the fields owned by Jauhari to help each other clean up the fields that had just burned. Even Jauhari himself did not know. When he heard the news from Wijan, Jauhari immediately told the teachers to go to the field.

The teachers did not remain silent, after asking Wijan, they eventually turned the entire lesson into a working day together. The teachers asked the students to go home to change their uniforms in free clothes and bring various equipment.

Apparently, even though Jauhari had not yet agreed to the plan, the people chose to make their own decisions . After all, they expected nothing from Jauhari. Like pay, for example. Not at all. All of this comes from sympathy and empathy.

Initially Kasiman, Memet and Karjo were heading to the Jauhari clove field using a bicycle. They brought their own equipment.

During the trip, they greeted each other. Knowing or not knowing, greeting each other is common in their village.

Starting from just a small talk, they said they wanted to help clean up Jauhari's farm. Unexpectedly, the story spread widely. Each is willing to leave their job.

Some carry hoes, fertilizers, vegetable seeds and others.

Seeing the arrival of the people, Mat Yusi was astonished. He thought people were going to throw him out.

No doubt, Mat Yusi was prepared if they acted arbitrarily. However, after they explained, Mat Yusi immediately kept the sharp weapons he had already grasped.

One by one began to work on what Mat Yusi had done.

“No one sows seedlings first. On that matter, let Jauhari decide. We only prepare the field until it is ready to plant,” Memet suggested.

The proposal they accepted immediately. While Jauhari did not exist, they worked according to Kasiman, Memet and Karjo's orders. Each one hoeed, burned grass, prepared drinking water and food.

Although Mat Yusi was there, they barely spoke to each other. There is a sense of reluctance and fear if Mat Yusi holds a grudge because they complained to Jauhari yesterday.

Meanwhile, from the direction of the reservoir, seen Jauhari and Wijan seemed to rush to ride a motorcycle. Jauhari is worried about misunderstanding between residents and Mat Yusi.

Seeing Jauhari coming, Memet immediately came closer. He apologized for working the fields without waiting for approval.

Jauhari did not answer directly. He watches over all the citizens present and looks for Mat Yusi. After seeing everything was fine, there was no problem between them, Jauhari then responded to Memet's remarks by asking that people gather.

“I personally thank you for the kindness and care of all of you. I know you guys want to help, and I apologize for not making any decisions. I myself do not yet have a certainty of a plan about this field. That's why I chose to be quiet,” Jauhari explained.

“How about we Plant vegetables only?” memet Suggestion

“We have provided the seeds and fertilizer. If less, we will add,” said another resident.

“Sayur faster harvest. This field can grow various types of vegetables at once,” concluded Kasiman.

“If Mat Yusi goes, I'm ready to take care of him,” whispered Wijan to Jauhari's ear.

Last night, the two of them had heard firsthand Mat Yusi's plan to leave the field.

Many times Jauhari asked for an explanation, but Mat Yusi chose silence. In fact, Mat Yusi had

apologizing for his mistake could not keep the field and had to go with Yudha.

Hearing Wijan's offer to manage his fields in place of Mat Yusi made Jauhari happy. For him, it could treat his sadness when later Mat Yusi left.

“Then, you should give me advice on how to farm this next. After all, you will also continue later,” challenge Jauhari.

“I agree if planted with vegetables,” replied Wijan without hesitation. He also immediately mingled with the citizens.

While busy working, from afar a noise was heard. Everyone looked at the origin of the sound. It turned out that the group of students Jauhari with the teachers arrived.

“Good, we have extra energy,” said Wijan told Jauhari not to have to reprimand the teachers. “Respect their good intentions. Let's just say today is the day of planting national fields so that everyone works in the fields,” Wijan joked.

“Sontoloyo. Where there is a day to plant a national farm. Yeah, already. You just invite the students to help,” command Jauhari to Wijan.

After seeing all of each working, Jauhari approached Mat Yusi and invited him to speak.

“You see, they don't even bother you. Whenever you want to stay here, I'm always open to you. Don't hesitate. At the very least, look at us here,” said Jauhari.

Mat Yusi just nodded his head. However, he did not want to be carried away by the sad atmosphere. For him, separation is a very difficult thing to live.

“I want to help them. So, this place will be a vegetable field, right?” tanya Mat Yusi.

“Wijan is willing to take care of him. Anyway I still need people for the fields to run normally.”

“Good. Wijan should have been in this place. ”

“Do not misunderstand. Wijan and you I've considered like brothers myself.”

Mat Yusi nodded his head again. “Thank you for accepting me all this time. Sorry if it finally disappoints,” said Mat Yusi directly helps people who are working.

Among all the busyness of the villagers in the fields of Jauhari, there were some disciples who had separated themselves since.

“We take the wagon first, mumpung my father is helping Jauhari, so unused,” Sidik said to his football team friends.

They all agreed to help Sapri after being told by Sidik and Ikbal. In fact, they also tell of their success in deceiving Yudha's men. The cloves they sold were from Yudha's own fields.

“Then we have to be fast. Some follow me to the Yudha clove field, the rest follow Sidik take the cart,” Ikbal suggested.

Sapri really did not expect all football teams, other than Zian, to come to his aid. “If everything is compact, I am sure a hundred clove sacks we can get all day and all night,” said Sapri enthusiastically.

“Urusan burned Yudha fields, we have prepared everything,” Ikbal said showing the kerosene they brought.

Sapri was very happy to hear their preparations. “If tomorrow morning we burn, it means we have to save the cloves we harvest first. Yudha's men must have all come here and their buying warehouse was closed,” Sapri said.

“Tak problems. Let's keep it in the bushes behind the school. There is safe and rarely people cross,” Ikbal proposal that is directly approved all. That way, they can keep an eye on cloves just from behind the classroom window.
