The atmosphere of self-study in the morning in XI MIA 1 class is so peaceful. The students are reading their textbooks, some are doing practice questions and discussing with their friends.
"Guys, guys! There's bad news!" Joshua shouted and hit the teacher's desk hard.
"Don't please, Jo. In the morning, make a noise!" the students sitting at the front desk.
"Where is the master? Bimo, where are you?"
Bimo who had just entered the classroom, pouted. "Gue's not the handler!"
"Shh." Joshua hissing. "Dengerin was. This is important for the good name of our class."
"Tell me if it doesn't matter."
Joshua ignored the threat of his classmates and said, "Gue got word, we want new students to come."
"Certainly? Is this what you call important?" satirize one of his friends.
"The problem is that students have bad grades in previous schools!"
Joshua's remarks made the students in the classroom feel exposed to thunder on a sunny morning.
"What?!"
"Kok he can get into our class?"
"It's not like he should be in 9th grade!"
"He could threaten our class."
"We can't lose to the XI class of MIA II."
"Why not go to XI MIA II?"
"Well, our class's getting weird dong."
Students - students are no longer focused on learning, they prefer to discuss this important matter. In their school, there are 16 classes in the eleventh grade level of High School. There are nine MIA (Mathematics and Natural Sciences) majors and seven IIS (Science - Social Sciences) majors.
When they first entered this school, which is when they were in class X, they had undergone a series of tests to determine their major, MIA or IIS. After being divided into two majors, they are re-tested and placed in classes according to their ranking order in the exam. Ranking 1 - 30 occupy class X MIA I, ranking 31 - 60 occupy X MIA II.
This class division is temporary. When they move up to XI class, they are ranked again and the class is readjusted. So that some of the students of class XI MIA I came from other classes before. Most of those who could not survive, moved to the XI class of MIA II. This is what causes the two classes to often compete in the grade point average.
The students of XI MIA I class are worried that new students who are rumored to have a history of poor grades will greatly affect the average results of their classes. The results of the exam last semester they won by only 0.5 points higher than the XI class MIA II. They're so worried!
"Boycott that student!" The glasses student shouted loudly.
"Yes, yes it is! We do not accept students of a level that is not the same as ours."
"Agree, let's all sign the petition."
"Well, what petition?" asked Hendra, the Guardian of Class XI MIA I who stepped into the classroom. "Joshua, get back to the seat!"
Joshua looked sadly at his teacher. Then he found someone behind his teacher. Oh my goodness what kind of appearance is this! Annoyed, Joshua sat down beside Bimo.
Hendra stood up and knocked on the teacher's desk. "Repeat everyone. Today is the arrival of new students. Son, introduce yourself."
"Gue Rigel."
Hendra waited but the new student did not open his mouth again. "OKAY. You guys welcome him well. From now on you're classmates, okay?"
Although reluctant, the students still replied, "Well, sir."
Hendra looked at Rigel, "You can choose to sit on an empty bench. This class leader, Eagle will help you pick up the textbooks later. The eagle's here."
The eagle was calculating the offense points of this new student.
Dyed hair 5 points
Not in full uniform 1 point
Colored shoes 1 point
Ear piercing 10 points
"Relang?"
"Sorry, Sir. I'm daydreaming." The eagle immediately walked to the front of the class.
"Please help Rigel pick up his textbooks" Hendra repeated.
"Good, sir."
"Okay, I'm staying then. You guys continue learning the mandiri."
"Good, sir."
Hendra then left the class.
"Let's go with me to pick up your book" said the Eagle to Rigel, who was leaning on the board.
Rigel simply glanced at his new class leader and walked over to the empty bench. He sat down and greeted his colleague, "Hello, Miss Callista. We meet again."
"Hello."
Rigel narrowed his eyes, dissatisfied with the short reply given. "Miss."
Nuna looked at Rigel, "Yes?"
"Lo hasn't been properly responsible."
What responsibility? Their classmates sharpened their ears. Is there any new rumors?
Nuna noticed the curious gazes of her friends. Unknowingly his brows furrowed. "You're coming with me." Nuna closed her book and stood up.
"But I have to take the book with the Eagle." Rigel glanced at the Eagle not far from them.
Nuna looked at the Eagle and said, "I'll help him pick up the book."
The eagle shook his head, he noticed Nuna's skinny arm. "No, those books are too heavy for you." He knew that Nuna wanted to speak privately with Rigel, so he decided "Gue took the book himself."
Nuna was about to refuse, but Rigel quickly grasped Nuna's wrist using his free hand. He smiled broadly at the Eagle saying, "Thank you, bro." Then pull Nuna walking to a hidden corner behind their classroom building.
"Please let go of my hand" Nuna said to Rigel, leaning against the wall.
Rigel took off his grip.
Nuna took a distance and opened her mouth, "You have said that you have accepted my apology that day. What do you mean? I also offer accountability, but you refuse."
Rigel grinned. "My brain is injured and my bones are broken. See? My hands are still in the cast. But you just come, apologize, keep coming home. I was almost three weeks in the hospital, and you never showed up again. You sure, you're sorry for what you did?"
"I never said I was sorry for what I did."
Rigel's two round eyes stared at Nuna's expressionless face, "Lo, lo?!" He raised his tone, "Lo made me fall from the second floor, you know, the height of the balcony from the ground five meters! Five meters! And you don't regret it one bit?"
Nuna looked straight at Rigel. "I've apologized to you. I have no regrets because your suspicious behavior caused me to take action that day."
"Lo fuck me? That's my house! It's up to me to get in through the door, the window, the roof cake. My whatever! And you as a guest, just want to kick me out of my own house!"
Nuna said straightforwardly, "My grandfather and I have come to your house. This issue was resolved by the cancellation of the Anderson family company's employment contract with the Pangestu family company. So I don't owe you any responsibility. "
Rigel surprised. He doesn't know this at all. "That's.how much loss does your family bear?"
"You don't have to think about it. This problem is over. So please don't talk nonsense anymore." Nuna then stepped away leaving Rigel who was still in his place.
