Eps. 33 Seeking the Existence of the Princess

The trial at the temple hall ended three hours later. The Prime Minister and other officials came out of the temple hall where the congregation was held.

Emperor Luoying walked in towards the palace. He also recalled his words earlier this morning to the concubine Wan Rou.

“Xuan come here a minute !”call the emperor to his trusty bodyguard who happens to still be inside the palace.

“Good noble.”answere the guard closing in on the noble.

“Hail noble is there any order for me ?”xuan replied while paying respect to the Emperor.

“I have orders for you. You find Princess Wu Shuang where she is now and ask her to come home immediately.”ucap Emperor Luoying gave the order.

“Good noble.” replied Xuan while saluting.

The guard asked permission to leave the palace and immediately went on a search.

Xuan exits the palace with five of his men to his aides in search of the princess's whereabouts.

Xuan's entourage rode on horseback and headed to Lanxia city in search of Princess Wu Shuang's whereabouts where she was assigned to the city by the emperor.

After a three-hour journey Xuan's entourage finally arrived at Lanxia city. They entered the gate of Lanxia city.

“You spread to all corners of this city and find Wu Shuang's daughter !”xuan said to his men.

“Good general Xuan !”answer the five emissaries of the Emperor's trust.

The five envoys of Xuan then spread throughout Lanxia city. Some spread to the public places that were there.

A messenger is looking in the shopping mall. Another searched for some lodging. Another searched several restaurants and the rest spread to several houses.

A messenger who was in one of the big restaurants in Lanxia city brought a painting of Wu Shuang's daughter to make it easier to find her.

The envoy saw some citizens sitting in front of the table just but with them. He sat in one of the empty seats.

“Excuse me sir have you ever seen anyone in this painting?” the envoy asked while showing a picture of Princess Wu Shuang.

The 40-year-old man saw the painting shown by the envoy and returned it again.

“Sorry I never saw the girl in the painting.” replied the man earlier.

The envoy thanked him and then asked other diner visitors who were there.

“Sorry sir I never met the girl in the painting.” replied a man.

The messenger then asked the other visitors who were at the restaurant but he again got the same answer as before.

The messenger came out of the restaurant and headed to another restaurant in the city of Lanxia.

Yifeng asked all the diners by showing them a painting of Princess Wu Shuang, but the visitors there claimed to have never seen it.

He headed to the other two restaurants and did the same thing he had done before.

“Why has no one ever seen the existence of the princess here ?”muttered Yifeng out of a restaurant with his bare hands.

Another envoy who was in a shopping mall in the city of Lanxia asked the whereabouts of the princess to some vendors along the way.

“Excuse me sir have you ever seen this girl ?”suzaku asked the jeweler.

The merchant looked at the painting that the messenger had shown him.

“Face in this painting seems like I've seen it but I'm not sure they are the same person.”in seller who some time ago received Tang Su jewelry because of different names.

Suzaku then asked the other sellers who were there.

“Excuse me sir... have you ever seen this girl ?”suzaku asked the sweets merchant by showing him the painting he was carrying.

The merchant removed his head while handing back the painting to Suzaku.

Suzaku then asked again to all the merchants who were there.

“All traders here said if they never saw the figure of the princess. Then where else will I look for ?”suzaku muttered out of the shopping mall while carrying Princess Wu Shuang's painting.

Other envoys who were in public places did the same. One envoy was in front of the Sky Wuji temple.

The envoy met the monk there and showed him a painting of the princess.

“Sorry teacher... have you ever seen or met this girl ?”baozi asked.

The monk looked at the painting and returned it with a shake.

“Sorry I never met the figure of a beautiful girl in this painting.” replied the monk and left him.

Baozi then headed to several other public places that were there, but he did not get any news about the existence of the princess.

The other two envoys, Shuo Tang and Haoyan who spread out in several houses of the citizens asked for the whereabouts of the Princess.

“Mrs... sorry have you ever seen this girl figure ?”shuo Tang asked a mother carrying a child now.

“Sorry sir I never met or saw the girl.” replied the woman earlier.

“Excuse me sir have you ever seen this girl figure?”haoyan asked a man who was outside the house and cut bamboo.

“Sorry I never saw him sir.” replied the man after seeing the painting of the princess shown to him.

Hao Yan and Shuo Tang then asked again every citizen they met. After two hours of searching they returned empty-handed.

The five people then returned to the gate to meet General Xuan.

“How do you guys bring good news for me?”general Xuan asked his five envoys.

The five eunuchs looked at each other and then arranged their leaders.

“Sorry General Xuan.. We have tried hard and searched all over but we still have not found the whereabouts of Princess Wu Shuang.” answered eunuch Shuo Tang representing the others.

“What How can no one know where the Princess is here?”the general replied, Something strange.

After a short rest they decided to return to the palace. They pass another path to get to their destination faster by passing through a forest.

In the middle of the forest they saw a broken chariot with many arrows stuck there.

“Why does the train look so familiar?”said General Xuan.

He got off his horse and checked that a used horse carriage had been attacked by someone.

“This train is the train that carries Princess Wu Shuang in carrying out his mission in this city.”gumam General Xuan.

To reassure his doubts he got into the carriage and looked at the item there and checked it. How surprised he was to find out that the items that were there were indeed the property of the princess.

He was even more surprised when some eunuchs found traces of blood on the horse carriage.
