Tang Su looked surprised when he saw a paper scroll similar to a letter fall on his lap. He also took a white paper bound with a green thread on the middle side.
“What is this.. ?”muttered Tang Su opened the rope that tied the paper roll earlier.
When he opened it there was writing on the paper scroll.
“Canton language... ?”tang Su muttered as he read the writing which was an ancient language. He understood the intent written by the author but could not reply to it. Even the girl could read cantonese because her grandfather used to teach her.
“My daughter Wu Shuang. At the palace right now everyone's got news of your death. But I don't believe it and believe that you're still alive. I accidentally sent a letter through Bulbul and hope you reply if it is still alive.”ucap Tang Su read what was written there.
He looked again at the writing and looked at the fan pigeon that was still nearby.
“So the one who sent this letter is his mother the owner of this body ? Jeez they thought Princess Wu Shuang was dead.”the inner Tang Su felt pity for the grieving concubine Wan Rou.
“Then how do I reply...?”tang Su's inner was confused as she was willing to reply.
He also thought and did not want to make the concubine Wan Rou sad even though he himself had never seen it and seen it.
“What if I write it as I can ?”inner Tang Su.
He went into the house to get a pen. Two minutes later he came out with all the pens and a piece of paper.
Tang Su wrote down some of the few cantonese he understood and mixed them with Mandarin because he did not understand some of the words.
“Hopefully her mother Princess Wu Shuang could understand the intent I wrote.”ucap Tang Su when finished writing the letter.
He rolled it up and tied it with a green rope and gave it to the pigeon fan.
“So your name is Bulbul yes.”ucap Tang Su while stroking the pigeon head of the fan.
“pur... pur..”Bulbul wagged her tail and pecked at Tang Su's hand.
“Bulbul now go back and deliver my letter to my mother.”ucap Tang Su touched Bulbul who perched on her shoulder as if reluctant to leave her.
“pur... pur... pur...” as if understanding at what Tang Su said, the fan pigeon then immediately jumped into the air and flew off astride, making it so, within minutes the pigeon was gone among the clouds.
From inside the house Lin Fan came out looking for Tang Su to take her to lunch.
“Sister what is sister doing here ? Why keep staring at the sky ?”the little boy asked as he saw Tang Su Yang raising his head upwards.
Tang Su immediately turned his head back when he heard Lin Fan calling out to him.
“Ah does not exist. Sister only saw a fan pigeon that flew.” replied Tang Su.
Lin Fan looked up at the sky but he did not see any pigeons and as mentioned by Tang Su thought the bird was gone. He also remembered his original purpose.
“Sister let's have lunch. Big brother must have been after splitting some wood.”ucap Lin Fan stared at the pile of firewood already cut by Tang Su.
“Ya well... let's eat.” replied Tang Su briefly because his stomach now rang.
Tang Su and Lin Fan immediately walked into the house and ate with Jiu's grandfather who was waiting for him.
Elsewhere Consort Wan Rou who was in the palace was waiting for Bulbul's return. The woman did not leave her room and opened the window.
One hour later Consort Wan Rou sat on the chair. From the outside came the sound of footsteps walking towards his room.
“kriek..”.Consort Wan Rou turned her head as the door of her room opened.
“Concubine Wan Rou... You are aware.”
“Your Majesty..”he replied when he saw the emperor entering and immediately stood up to salute him.
“Concubine Wan Rou You are aware?”emperor Luoying said he was relieved to see the concubine sitting in the room.
Concubine Wan Rou immediately stood up and gave the Emperor a salute.
“How are you concubine Wan Rou?”the Luoying emperor asked as he held his wife's cold hand while sitting next to him.
“I'm fine, your majesty. Sorry to bother you.” replied Consort Wan Rou briefly.
“Your majesty I still can't believe that our daughter is dead. I beg of your majesty, please find Princess Wu Shuang once again.”ucap Consort Wan Rou begs.
Emperor Luoying became saddened to hear the words of his wife who had not been able to accept the fact. In the heart of the emperor felt guilty because he gave the task to the princess. If only he hadn't given him a job, maybe this wouldn't have happened.
“Darling... I know you still can't accept this fact. But sooner or later you should be able to accept it.” replied emperor Luoying.
Consort Wan Rou looked even more saddened at the answer from the emperor. She just kept her head down and shed tears because her husband did not want to hear her request.
“Huft...”emperor Luoying let out a long sigh looking at the crying Consort Wan Rou.
“Well dear I will re-investigate the whereabouts of Princess Wu Shuang and also investigate the cause of her death.
The next twenty minutes Emperor Luoying walked out of Consort Wan Rou's room. He searches for his bodyguard and assigns him to search for the whereabouts and investigate the death of the princess.
Consort Wan Rou moved to sit in the chair in front of the window. He's still waiting for Bulbul's return.
“It has been two hours but Bulbul has not returned as well.”gumam the concubine waited clearly and continued to settle out the window.
The wind blew in through the window and made Consort Wan Rou fall asleep for a while.
An hour later, Bulbul returned. He came and stayed on the table near Consort Wan Rou who was still asleep.
“purr... purr..
Bulbul whistled near the ears of the taste buds with the intention to wake her up but Consort Wan Rou still remained asleep.
“pur... pur.Because the concubine Wan Rou never woke up as well, Bulbul fingertips the concubine.
“Oh... Bulbul you're back?”concubine Wan Rou said when she woke up because she felt the tip of her hand tingling.
“Have you met Princess Wu Shuang and you brought a reply letter from your master?”wan Rou's concubine asked the fan pigeon.
“pur... pur..Bulbul dropped the letter he was carrying.
Consort Wan Rou turned out to be patient and she immediately took it. He hoped it was not his letter but a reply from Princess Wu Shuang.
