General Xuan was still speechless staring at the black veil in his hand. He really did not understand why the Luoying emperor ordered an investigation but after the investigation was conducted, the Shadow Army attacked his own daughter.

“Is it true Emperor Luoying ordered to eliminate Princess Wu Shuang ?”general Xuan's inner self still remained clueless after rethinking yet he found it strange why the Emperor had also ordered himself to conduct an investigation.

General Xuan then took the evidence and kept it. He then immediately left there and returned to his original place before his emissary bodyguards found evidence there.

moments later some of his emissary bodyguards returned and reported what they had found.

“Report General Xuan, we did not find Princess Wu Shuang's body at the bottom of the ravine. At the bottom of the ravine there is a river and it is possible that his body was submerged in the river and was already in the prey of wild animals there.”ucap some bodyguards that he was assigned to look for the body of the princess in the ravine.

Several other bodyguards searching the other areas also gave reports.

General Xuan heard the reports from all of his emissary bodyguards.

The bodyguards were silent and no one answered because they had not found out who the princess was. Suddenly, one of the guards came forward.

“General Xuan... I found an arrow and this seems to belong to the shadow army.”Cap an army showed the arrow he found.

General Xuan received the poisoned arrow and directly threw it back to the ground.

“General... what should we report to the emperor if things are like this ?”ask the other bodyguard who became confused.

General Xuan was silent and thought to answer so as not to mispronounce and not to take a step.

“I don't know if the emperor himself sent shadow troops or his own shadow troops did.”Cap General Xuan conveyed the possibilities.

“We don't know if the shadow army betrayed the emperor or the emperor tried to find the scapegoat?”general Xuan added.

The bodyguards became afraid of hearing General Xuan's explanation. They were afraid that they would become scapegoats for the death of Princess Wu Shuang.

“General then how will we get a penalty ?”reply one of the guards who was horrified at the thought of the punishment they would receive.

“You don't have to worry I'll handle it. You guys just follow my orders.” General Xuan replied to calm the frightened guards at the risk of this investigation.

After General Xuan gave the briefing and told them what they should do for the good of all of them, he invited his guards to immediately leave the forest and return to the palace.

“Quick go before day adds afternoon !”the general gave the order.

The bodyguards immediately jumped onto their horses. They immediately followed the general who had advanced first in front of them.

An hour later they came out of the forest area and passed through the street in the center of Ling Yu's herb.

In the middle of the road a soldier accidentally saw something sparkling in the streets. The bodyguard then stopped for a moment to look at her.

“This is the usual konde puncture used by Princess Wu Shuang ?”muttered the bodyguard while taking a skewer of konde and saw his distinctive motif and shape.

The bodyguard took him and jumped back onto the horse then spurred his horse faster to chase General Xuan.

“General... wait !”the bodyguard shouted after being behind the general's horse.

General Xuan slowed down the pace of his horse after hearing a call from his bodyguard.

General Xuan accepted the konde stitch and looked at it.

“This is very similar to the konde puncture commonly used by Princess Wu Shuang ? Why can it be here ?”muttered the general did not believe what he was holding.

He immediately stored the skewer and again accelerated the steps of his horse to get to the palace immediately.

The next hour they arrived at the gate of the Wanzhou palace.The gatekeeper immediately opened upon seeing General Xuan and his bodyguards coming.

Inside General Xuan's palace faced Emperor Luoying alone after having previously asked his guards to return to duty as per their respective duties and shut their mouths tightly about what they had found earlier.

“Hail the noble.”ucap General Xuan salutes while bowing.

“Build. Any word on general ?”the Emperor Luoying.

General Xuan stepped forward and handed the konde stitch to the emperor.

Emperor Luoying received the konde puncture and watched closely.

“This belongs to Princess Wu Shuang. So did you find the princess ?”asked Emperor Luoying with a radiant face.

“Sorry your majesty we did not find the princess anywhere just found it.” replied General Xuan.

Emperor Luoying looked back at the skewer of the konde in his hand and the look on his face turned sad.

“So Princess Wu Shuang really died ?”the emperor said with a heavy sigh.

“Then have you also found out who the killer is?”ask Emperor Luoying.

General Xuan stared at the emperor's face which turned sad and made him think.

“If it was indeed Emperor Luoying himself who sent a shadow army to destroy the princess, then there was no way his face would turn sad like that.”in General Xuan.

“Even thousands of mercy Your Majesty. The noble assassin for us to search for has left no trace at all, so we cannot trace or find him.” General Xuan replied at length.

Emperor Luoying looked very disappointed that the matter was locked and completely unexpressible. He then asked the general to return to his place of duty.

Emperor Luoying then exited the palace and headed to the blue water station where the concubine Wan Rou lived to deliver the news he had just obtained.

While General Xuan after coming out of the palace did not return to his place yet he looked for his friend who was the leader of the shadow army.

Emperor Luoying arrived at the blue water mason and headed to the room of the concubine Wan Rou.

Consort Wan Rou immediately opened the door as she was sure it must be the emperor.

“Emperor Luoying how are you doing about our daughter ?”the concubine looked at the emperor.

Emperor Luoying took a picture and closed the door. He invited his wife to sit down. He then explained the news he had just received.

Consort Wan Rou was completely in disbelief and still could not accept the reality after what Emperor Luoying had just delivered to her.
