Eps. 68 Lantern Festival

Siyue was in a closed room. He looked around to find clues to his whereabouts.

“This is like a picture in ancient times, royal times.”gumam Siyue when looking at knick-knacks and room arrangement in the room.

He sat in a chair in front of the dresser and went back in the mirror.

“The clothes and hairstyle like this is also a model commonly used by a princess. Am I in a palace now ?”muttered Siyue guessing by himself.

Not lost his curiosity, he was suddenly startled by the sound of footsteps outside the room.

“tok... tok.....” the sound of footsteps stopped in front of the door and the sound of someone knocking on the door.

Because there was no response, someone standing at the door opened the door.

“Nona... sorry I entered myself because Princess Mei Lin did not answer.”ucap a woman dressed as a palace maid.

Siyue looked nervous and a little misbehaved.

“This servant calls me Princess Mei Lin ? Who exactly does he mean ?”inner Siyue.

The servant looked at his nona with a different gaze than usual.

“Princess what's with Princess Mei Lin ? Is princess okay ?”the waiter asked because he saw a pale face.

“Oh... ti-no... I'm fine.” replied Siyue stammered and tried to calm down.

“Princess of the day there is a lantern festival, w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-why see her there with me ?”ask the waiter again.

“Oh yes... Then I will prepare now.” replied Siyue while standing up and heading to the wardrobe.

He also took a dress that he thought was beautiful and deserved to be worn to see the lantern festival.

“Daughter Mei Lin let me help wear it.”ucap the waiter helped Siyue put on the clothes that had just been taken.

A few minutes later Siyue walked out with the waiter. Outside there was already a horse carriage waiting for his arrival.

“Please let the lady go up first.” said the waiter opened the train door and Siyue immediately entered and sat down.

After the princess sat down, the maid was sitting in front with the horse coachman.

The train glides towards where the lantern festival takes place.

While Siyue opened the mosquito net slightly and stared into the street. He also looked at the palace where he was.

“Pingxuo Palace..”gumam Siyue read the big signboard in front of the palace and then turned to staring at the streets. Along the way he again found a sign reading the city of Ling.

After an hour on the road, the train stopped somewhere.

“Weizhi you just go with Princess Mei Lin, I will wait here.”ucap a man on the waiter earlier.

From inside the carriage Siyue could clearly hear what they were talking about.

“So the woman's celebration was named Weizhi..”batin Siyue and tried to remember it.

Weizhi went down and opened the door for Princess Mei Lin.

“Princess Mei Lin we have arrived please get off.”ucapnya still give respect when the princess got off the train.

“It looks like the event almost started princess.”ucap Weizhi when she saw a red lantern being flown into the air.

Princess Mei Lin then walked with her servant towards the crowd. The trees there are decorated by multicolored lanterns.

Siyue looked happy to see the many lanterns hanging along the way and felt lucky to see them.

“We look for a place that is rather quiet.” said the princess after entering the location and looking for a quiet place to enjoy the beauty of the lantern there.

The princess looked for a slightly quiet place and together with Weizhi watched the lantern festival.

Elsewhere far away, at the Wanzhou palace where she was in the blue water maison was seen Consort Wan Rou who was daydreaming in her room staring blankly outwards.

The concubine often looks moody and sad after the death of Princess Wu Shuang. His cheekbones were slightly protruding after not eating for days and only eating a few mouthfuls.

Once Consort Wan Rou fell ill. The woman still looks sad depressed and has not been able to accept the departure of her only daughter.

The court physician intervened with the health of the concubine. Even the Emperor invited several healers from outside the palace to heal his wife but none of them made Consort Wan Rou smile or heal him.

Emperor Luoying from day to day often observed the condition of his wife. He did not want to see the concubine getting worse.

“I have to do something. Should I just have a contest. Anyone who can cure Consort Wan Rou will get an interesting gift from me.”batinnya after an impromptu idea.

Emperor Luoying also called some of his emissaries and he conveyed his point.A few moments later, some Emissaries of the Emperor came out of the palace with announcements and attached them to several places in the crowd.

“What are the palace guards putting up announcements along the way ?”said a passerby who saw some of the palace guards go from the downtown streets to another place.

“Iya what announcement was made by the emperor ?”reply to other pedestrians who became curious.

A few moments later many people gathered to the place where the announcement was made.

“Wah... if only I had the ability to treat someone then I would join this contest.” chirped someone who had finished reading the announcement earlier.

“The gift is not clearly mentioned but I think the gift from the emperor must not disappoint at all.”ucap someone again added after reading the details of the announcement posted.

Turning to the Changle palace where Emperor Chun Jun looks sad because the crown prince has not been conscious until now.

Emperor Chun Jun was in the prince's room and sitting next to him.

“My son exactly what happened to you ? How long are you going to be like this ? Father wants you to wake up immediately.”pap the Emperor looked at the Crown Prince with a deep sad face.

“huft..”.Emperor Chun Jun let out a long sigh.

“There have been many healers checking you but none of them can cure you.”ucap the kiaras while bowed.

An Imperial guard saw the Emperor grieving and suddenly came up with an idea.

“Even the previous noble was not the intention of the servant to patronize, this was just a proposal.”ucap the bodyguard looked at the Emperor with respect.

“Tell me what suggestion you mean.” replied Emperor Chun Jun.

The bodyguard then advised that the Emperor should make an announcement and that anyone who could heal the Crown Prince would receive an attractive reward or something.

Emperor Chun Jun seemed to be thinking for a moment, but he gave a small smile after agreeing to the advice of his trusted bodyguard. He asked her to make an announcement and put it up in a crowd or something.

BE PATIENT...
