Abhimanyu is like a fish that has just run out of water. He was really unsettled after seeing some of Gerald's posts that showed Infiera's closeness to Adi, his student and also a foreign man who, according to Adi, was a donor, as well as a coal businessman.
Last night, Abhimanyu searched for the fastest flight to Malang. He wanted to go that night, too. Unfortunately, Abhimanyu had to swallow disappointed because the tickets were there only for the flight the next day.
The next day, Abhimanyu left for the airport. Not much preparation. He was wearing only jeans, a white shirt wrapped in a brown coat jacket.
Abhimanyu departed for Malang with a flight around ten in the morning. He did not care about anything, all he thought about was how Abhimanyu met Infiera.
Before entering the gate, his phone rang, a call came in. Abhimanyu saw Gerald's name on his screen. “Bi, where are you? Not this afternoon we have a meeting with the vendor for opening later?”
Abhimanyu did not immediately reply, he looked around. Suddenly the sound of a call to prepare was heard.
“Bi, where are you? Why did I hear a rich-like voice at the airport?” ask Gerald.
“Gue is indeed at the airport,” reply Abhimanyu is preparing to continue his steps.
“Airport? What's at the airport? Don't we have a meeting?”
“Gue has a short business. Lo handle first business today.”
“But, Bi—“
Abhimanyu did not let Gerald do his talk. He simply turned off his phone and rushed to get on the plane.
In a different place. This morning, Infiera was seen helping the elderly to have breakfast together. They are wasting some healthy foods that can be consumed for the elderly.
“Fier, can you deliver these fruits on that table over there? He said, they want to try kiwi fruit.”
Fiera smilingly grabbed the tray containing the kiwi fruit that had been cut from her senior, Adi.
“Fortunately, yesterday we got the kiwi from Mr. Rendi, yes.”
Adi only responded with a smile and nod because he was again busy with other activities.
Infiera's friendly smile develops as she takes care of those disadvantaged parents, making her well-liked by almost all the parents she cares for.
“Grandmother should spend her first meal. Just can eat the fruit,” said Fiera with her soft voice.
“Nak, you also have to eat. Stop taking care of us, you have breakfast first.”
“Iya, Nek, soon Fiera breakfast.”
Infiera arranged the fruit in front of some of the old men who were at the table. Afterwards, Fiera returned to the back to help the others. While going into the kitchen area, Fiera met with Rendi, a young businessman who also joined other volunteers. He also brought in medical personnel to check the health of the parents.
“Fier, have you had breakfast?”
Fiera smiled gently before replying, “In a moment, sir, together with the others.”
“You should also have breakfast soon, as we will soon move to another point.”
They must move to a predetermined point. Last night, before all activity was stopped. They were told that there was a nursing home that began to lie dormant because of the lack of funds to take care of the parents who were there. Rendi, as one of the donors directly instructed his men to send logistics to the location in question.
Fiera brought a glass of fruit ice made by volunteers to a wooden chair in the park, under a large tree.
“Ah, fresh,” exclaimed Fiera after sipping fruit ice in her hand.
“Cape, yes?” greeting someone from the back, surprised Fiera who had just leaned her back on that wooden chair.
“Aaaa, Mr. Rendi surprises only.”
Rendi shook her head to see Fiera step up from her seat. The man asked, “Can I sit here?” his tanyanya pointed at the empty space that was next to Fiera.
“Please, Sir.”
Fiera shifted slightly to give the space more space.
“Iya, Sir.”
“Wah, you know, it turns out there are still many young people who still want to do activities like this and care about something that is starting to be ignored.”
Fiera smiled slightly before responding.
“A lot, really, sir, young people who still want to be involved in something like this. Unfortunately, the media prefers to tell the bad news. What's more, in the modern era where social media is increasingly advanced. All the information quickly spread throughout the entire line. No wonder, if the good thing is covered with news minus.”
Rendi nodded in agreement with Fiera's statement. He seems to think.
“Fier, I was about 31 years old. Do I look old?” asked Randy suddenly.
Fiera turned her head, looking at the face of the man beside her as she was perplexed by the man's question. “Emm .. not really. What, why, sir?”
“You can call me mas only, ga, anyway? I feel so old called mr.”
“Pffft...” Suddenly Fiera laughed at Rendi's complaint that felt uncomfortable with the call of the Father given by her—, everyone actually. But, because since yesterday Rendi talked a lot with him, so impressed only Fiera who called like that.
“Yes, how yes, sir. You know what age I am, ga?”
“What is your age?”
“Two one, Sir. It's a lot different, right? Naturally I call mr.”
Rendi smiled and nodded. It wasn't hard to find out about this girl, he thought. Ever since he first saw her, Rendi had already felt an interest in Infiera. She tries to get acquainted, but it does seem like Fiera is quite a reclusive girl. It has to be in a different way to know the details about it.
“True too. It's 10 years, right? But some are married with such an age difference, loh.”
“In exist and it's not a problem too.”
“True, have trouble!” Rendi's smile grew wider at the answer the girl was unaware of.
“Pak, everything is ready.” Adi appeared from the direction inside the parlour and told the man that they should immediately move to another place.
“Alright,” replied Rendi, then turned to Infiera. “Come, Fier, you have to prepare, I will also prepare,” he continued, a little ambiguous. Rendi was still discussing about their age difference, whereas Fiera did not think that far at all.
“Good, Sir.”
Almost everyone moved, but there were still some people who remained there for the next two days, as they had to supervise the repair of the parlour.
They all moved by using minibuses and open tub cars to carry some pre-prepared logistics.
“Fier, you go with Mr. Rendi, yes? The bus is full.” Adi told after he checked everything it turned out there was still one person who had not entered, namely his partner from Jakarta who had not entered.”
“Eh? Why not Ka Adi?” Fiera looks a little panicked. Not comfortable if you have to one car with Rendi only alone.
“I got in the tub car, Fier. You want to ride in the back?” adi asked, pointing at the car behind him.
Fiera looked, besides it was full. There were also three other colleagues who were in the back of the car.
“Already, Fier, you come with me only.”
Without warning, Rendi held Fiera's wrist, to get into the car. “Come, Fier, the other half are waiting.”
“Eh, i-iya, Sir.” Fiera tried to release her hand from Rendi's grasp.
“Ayo.”
Fiera nodded, she was still trying to pull the hand from Rendi's grasp, but suddenly.
“Hey, get your hands off her!”
