Galak Lecturer's Wife

Galak Lecturer's Wife
Bickering

Fiera was not at all jealous of the closeness shown by Abhimanyu and also the new lecturer who came with him to the cafeteria. The only thing that surprised him was Abhimanyu's attitude.

All this time, the man had always been indifferent to anyone, but now he was just silent, according, and sitting in the corner of the canteen, he said, enjoy lunch with his new lecturer friends and also some other lecturers.

Afterwards, Fiera did not consider Abhimanyu's whereabouts in the cafeteria at all, she joked with her two friends as well as some of her classmates who came to— to sit at the same table with her.

In the afternoon, Fiera returned home early. He saw that Abhimanyu had not returned. It seemed, the man would return at night as usual.

Once inside the house, Fiera rushed straight to the kitchen to put down the food she bought.

Today, his salary as an online writer has reached his account. So, he bought some good food for dinner. Of course, Fiera was only buying for herself.

To be honest, Fiera's marriage was not healthy at all. It was like living with a stranger who paid for his studies.

Yeah, he's pretty grateful for that. However, for other needs Fiera did not get it from Abhimanyu at all. He had to fulfill it himself from working part-time as an online writer.

“At least, I am still lucky to be able to continue college,” murmured, sighing heavily.

It happened because of Abhimanyu's indifferent attitude. Abhimanyu will meet all their household needs. The fridge is never empty with healthy food. All the needs of the house, everything is fulfilled. Only, the man had never given money for Fiera's personal needs. To be exact, Fiera never asked.

It was triggered because of their distant relationship, so Fiera thought that what Abhimanyu did for her was enough—financed her college and also provided a place to stay for her. Fiera replied by doing good homework.

When he was about to step into the room, his tail caught the package that he threw away yesterday afternoon because it was not worth it. Fiera recalled Abhimanyu's order to contact her mother-in-law and also apologized.

Fiera pulled out her phone and contacted her immediately. “Assalamualaikum, Bu.”

“Waalaikum greetings, Son,” say from the end of that call. “How, Fier, has the package arrived?”

Fiera bit her lips, feeling guilty. Her mother-in-law was very kind and always remembered her if she made anything. “Sorry, Mom, earlier, this is Fiera's fault. Actually... yesterday Fiera already received that package...” Fiera immediately explained the situation. He repeatedly apologized and regretted.

There was absolutely no anger from her mother-in-law's voice. The woman who had given birth to her fierce husband laughed. “Mom thought why. Its alright. It's also called forgetfulness, right? No, don't feel guilty. I'll send you again later.”

Fiera heaved a sigh of relief. Her mother-in-law was very nice. Much different from Abhimanyu who rarely talk, but once opened the mouth, such as chili—bikin powder poignant ears and heart.

Fiera chuckled at the thought of that.

“Oh, yes, Fier, the mother of the plan next week will come to Jakarta because there is a seminar that must be attended by your father.” Mother-in-law continued.

His father-in-law was a doctor at a renowned hospital in Palembang. Often, his father-in-law filled seminars and open classes at universities in Jakarta.

Fiera was stunned by her mother-in-law's words.

Coming to Jakarta?

“A-will mom stay?” I asked a little nervous.

“Of course, how long haven't we met? I miss you guys.”

Indeed, after marriage, it took only three days for them to gather until Abhimanyu brought Fiera to Jakarta.

“Ba-fine, Mom. Fiera will deliver the same Mas Abi.”

After saying a few words, the call closed with a greeting.

Fiera continued her steps towards the room listlessly, thinking about her mother-in-law's words. What if they know about their marriage? What if her in-laws know?

It would definitely make her in-laws sad, besides what about the fate of her parents? Fiera also could not imagine how sad her parents were.

Tomorrow is his day off. He has a lot of work to do and also Abhimanyu's punishment to be handed over.

Of course, whether at home or on campus. Fiera was only a student in Abhimanyu's eyes. There was never any special treatment. In fact, at home sometimes Abhimanyu is more annoying when it opens his mouth.

Fiera went into her room to clean up, then came out of the room after her body was refreshed with some books and her laptop.

The room he was referring to, of course, was Abhimanyu's workspace. She had to do her job before her husband came home.

Fiera put her things on the table, then stepped towards Abhimanyu's shelf.

Some of the books were still scattered, just like when he left them this morning. Fiera still needs another book as a reference. He also wanted to pick up the book he had read. So, it was easy for him to make his recension task.

“Ah, I forgot that Mr. Abi is also a writer.” Fiera chuckled when she realized that, she was married for almost a year, but she had no idea of the world her husband was living in.

Fiera instantly moved to pick up one of the books that were there, but suddenly something fell from inside her book. Fiera immediately picked it up and looked.

“I love you like I'll never get hurt.” US

“I always want to change everything, only you that I never want to change.” US

Fiera narrowed her eyes reading the initials of the name at the end of the poetic words Abhimanyu had written on the book's dividing paper.

Something warm was running through his body. “What is her lover?” Fiera shook her head, removing all prejudice. What if it was Abhimanyu's lover?

He should have known, how their relationship intertwined from the beginning. A sudden marriage made by their parents. Fiera who only wanted to continue college and Abhimanyu who could not refuse the request of his parents.

Fiera put the papers back, then kept them in their original place. After that, he picked up the required books.

Fiera ignored Abhimanyu's writings in his book. He looked at all the books in front of him.

Most of the books are daily life genre, Fiera is quite happy with it because she can take a lot of messages in it.

At night, Abhimanyu returned to his home. When his car got into the yard, his jaw hardened when he realized that the house was still dark. He was sure that Infiera had been home since late afternoon, but why did the woman make her house pitch black?

His bad habits never change at all.

Abhimanyu stepped towards the switch and turned on all the lights outside and inside the house.

Like sure that Infiera is in his study. Sure enough, the woman was there— lying with the book in front of her face and the right leg propping up her left leg. The woman was shocked when the door of her room opened.

“P-Pak Abi is home.” Fiera was nervous and woke up, all this time she had never blatantly entered the room, but now Abi saw her there.

What's more, the room looks chaotic with many books scattered on the table and also the sofa.

“Do you know what time it is?” abhimanyu asked in a cold voice.

Fiera turned towards the wall clock. He was surprised because it turned out that time had shown almost seven o'clock in the evening. Not really, he's been in that room for almost three hours.

“Sorry, I was totally unaware—“

“Of course you are not aware, because you are too engrossed in relaxing.” Given how Fiera was positioned when Abhimanyu opened the door. He's a little misunderstood. In fact, what he has done since is doing the task and working.

“Sorry,” og Fiera. He really didn't realize it. Bad habits when dealing with books. Fiera always forgets time.

“Should use a little bit of your brain so that your bad habits never repeat themselves.”

The deg!

Again. Abhimanyu said Fiera has no brain in doing things. It hurts to hear that. In fact, Fiera just forgot to turn on the lights in the house. Why should Abhimanyu insult her like that?

Fiera felt her eyes heat up, but she immediately held it back, before she finally got up from her seat.

“Iya, I'm sorry. I promise—“

“No need to promise if you will keep repeating it. Better—“

“Better what, huh? You want me to leave this house? Just tell me, I'll do it then. Just because I forgot to turn on the lights, you're saying I don't have a brain? Why do you always pay attention to all my mistakes in this house? Whereas you never care about the good things I do here.”

Fiera gasped, out of nowhere she dared to fight Abhimanyu who had always been angry if she made a mistake.

Abhimanyu was surprised by Infiera's complaint. This was the first time he had seen the woman angry with her words. “Do you hate me so much? Then tell mom that you can't continue this marriage.”

After saying that, Fiera stepped past Abhimanyu who was fixated with her words. The man was too surprised. Abhimanyu rubbed his face rough. He also did not understand what was wrong with him? Why can he be so angry with Fiera, even though all that has happened often.

Damnit damnit! Umpat Abhimanyu's. He felt a little guilty with a rude remark from his mouth.

In fact, her mood had already been very bad when she was still on campus, seeing Fiera being nonchalant as she spoke to Gerald, her friend. What's more, while in the cafeteria Fiera was so familiar with her parks, laughing loosely. He never did it in front of Abhimanyu.
