CHAPTERS 177. Dinner together
***Hartono Restaurant***
Agung stared at the photo sent by Jackson into the group chat 'Wijaya family'.
"My great-grandson is two," murmured Agung with a wide smile.
Agung was very fond of the surprise given by Jackson and could not wait for Jackson to bring Rossy and his two great-grandchildren to Vila Wijaya.
As usual this afternoon Agung ate the legendary chicken noodle at the Hartono Restaurant.
Agung looked towards Thomas who was standing not far from him in a lethargic and pensive state.
Since arriving at the Hartono Restaurant, Agung was already aware of Thomas's behavior. Agung knew Thomas must be thinking about the issue of his second daughter's engagement being canceled last night in the ballroom of Hotel H.
"Thomas!" The great calls Thomas.
"Yes, Great Lord," replied Thomas and walked over to the table of the Great.
"Sit down!" uttered Agung.
Thomas sat in front of Great Vijaya.
"What's up Thomas? Why aren't you excited today? Was it because of last night's engagement party?" ask Great.
Agung believes Thomas must have found out about the engagement party of his second daughter that was canceled last night. It's just how far Thomas knows about last night's events, Agung wants to find out.
"Yes the Great Lord," Thomas replied with a long sigh.
Agung sat quietly and patiently waiting for Thomas to tell his heartbreak.
"Every night Grand Master saw Rossy in the ballroom of Hotel H?" ask Thomas.
Agung nodded his head.
"Overnight Rossy was very beautiful and charming" said Agung.
Agung knew Thomas wanted to know about Rossy who had been in America for five years.
"Good," Thomas said with a smile.
"Thomas hasn't met Rossy yet?" ask Great.
"Not yet, Grand Master. I just found out Rossy was in Bali this morning. Violet complained that her engagement party was broken by Rossy," Thomas replied as he held her head in remembrance of the drama Wulan Sari and Violet had done at her home.
They both cried bitterly and accused Rossy of making Thomas not feel at home and went straight to the Hartono Restaurant.
"You believe Rossy did it?" ask the Great calmly.
"I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding" Thomas replied firmly.
Agung was relieved that Thomas trusted Rossy deeply and did not believe Violet's words.
"Yes. Just misunderstood. Rossy didn't mess up the engagement party last night" Agung said.
Thomas looked at Agung with great pleasure after hearing the words of the Great.
"Great Lord! What happened in the ballroom last night? Earlier this morning one of the loyal customers of Hartono Restaurant called me and just told me about Violet's engagement being cancelled without saying the cause" Thomas said.
"The customer must have been afraid to offend Jackson" said Agung.
"Overnight one of Violet's girlfriends accused Rossy of spilling red wine into her party dress and forcing Rossy to seek redress. Violet sided with her friend and asked Rossy for damages. Then on the stage LED television screen appeared a cctv recording showing the woman flushing her own dress making a mess in the ballroom. Finally your son-in-law's candidate went on stage and announced the engagement party was canceled" Agung said.
Agung accidentally hints to Thomas that Stella was the one who broke Violet's engagement party last night.
Agung believes Thomas will be very difficult to accept the fact if he says Violet trapped Rossy, causing her fiance to cancel the engagement last night.
Agung knew clearly that more evidence was needed to show Wulan Sari and Violet were not as naive as Thomas thought they were.
Now Rossy is his son-in-law's future grandchild and has given him two handsome twin great-grandchildren so Agung must be on Rossy's side.
Agung believes Jackson will definitely protect Rossy and will not let anyone harm the young woman.
Agung deliberately did not tell Thomas about his twin grandchildren because Rossy was the one who had the right to tell Thomas that.
"It turns out it was a misunderstanding. I'll give Violet some understanding tonight" Thomas said happily.
There was no longer a lethargic and agitated expression on Thomas's face.
"I'm sure you can soon gather with Rossy" said Agung, patting Thomas on the shoulder.
Thomas is looking forward to his reunion with Rossy.
"Maybe I can ask Rossy's whereabouts through Michelle. Violet must have known how to contact Michelle because she invited Michelle to the engagement party last night" Thomas said.
"I will call Mr. Lesmana later to ask the situation of the Wijaya Mansion," said Agung's heart.
***VVVIP patient room Kelvin Hartono***
Michelle came to Kelvin's VVIP patient room after finishing her day shift.
Felix, who knew about it, joined Kelvin's VVIP patient room.
Michelle chatted with Rossy, while Kelvin and Chandra raced in a mobile game.
While Felix sat down near Jackson and was having a serious chat.
"Felix! You know him?" jackson asked while showing a photo of Michael inside his phone.
Bagaskara has sent information about the identity of the owner of the blue Xenia car that followed Jackson's car this morning.
Jackson's been reading information about Michael. A great surgeon. The new doctor joins Healing Hands Hospital and lives in a rented house close to Michelle's rented house.
Jackson is shocked to learn that Michael is the foster son of Salim Adinata, the owner of Australia-based Adinata Company.
"This handsome doctor? He is well known at Healing Hands Hospital. The sisters and the young doctor idolized him" Felix replied, looking at a photo of Michael on Jackson's phone.
"You know him?" asked Jackson in an investigative tone.
"Just met a few times. He was the one who took Doctor Erik to Healing Hands Hospital during the transfer from Medical Health" Felix replied.
"Doctor Erik?" heart of Jackson.
"Jackson! Is there anything suspicious about him?" ask Felix.
"For a while there hasn't been" Jackson replied.
"OKAY. I'll help you watch him for anything suspicious" Felix said.
"Thank you Felix" said Jackson.
A few moments later there was a knock on the door.
"Definitely Robin," Felix said excitedly and walked to the door of the patient's room.
Felix was starving and wanted to finish his dinner so he could be alone with Michelle again when he drove the young woman home.
Since being in Kelvin's VVIP patient room, Michelle has always been with Rossy so Felix is forced to sit next to Jackson.
Rossy and Michelle also walk to the door and help Felix pick up their dinner which Robin escorts.
They were all gathered inside Kelvin's VVIP patient room and dinner together.
In an instant the atmosphere inside the patient room became crowded like a market.
Jackson who usually likes calmness does not reject the warm and crowded atmosphere he feels now.
"We will gather dinner at the Wijaya Mansion with Rossy's cooking after Kelvin leaves Healing Hands Hospital" Jackson said in a loud voice.
"Horay!" kelvin and Chandra shouted at the same time.
"Yes! I can eat Rossy's cooking again" Felix cried with excitement.
Rossy and Michelle smiled widely and shook their heads at the same time because of Felix's frenzied reaction that exceeded the twins' reaction.
