Genius Child: CEO & His Private Chef
CHAPTER 55. Polaroid Photo

***Hartono Restaurant***

Moments later Thomas brought a bowl of chicken noodles and his warm gravy out of the kitchen.

Thomas presents it on the table of the Great.

Bakmi chicken. The food is very simple and is a favorite meal of loyal customers of Hartono Restaurant.

This cuisine is the creation of Thomas with his birth mother Rossy so that Thomas was very good at cooking this legendary chicken noodle.

"That's right," praised Agung while smelling the smell of chicken noodles tickling his nose.

Thomas watched as Agung was savouring his chicken noodle.

Lately always come to the Hartono Restaurant for lunch. The menu is always Bakmi Ayam.

Thomas knew the Great was a rich man and could order any kind of food. However, each time the old man simply ordered chicken noodles. Certainly because you want to remember something or someone related to the legendary chicken noodle.

"Thomas. Come sit with me, "please take me in friendly manner after you finish eating the chicken noodle in the bowl.

"Good lord." Thomas never refused his customers' requests.

Usually Agung will go home after finishing eating chicken noodles. However, today Agung wants to chat with someone.

"You know why I always order this legendary chicken noodle?" ask Great.

"Maybe because the Great Lord tried this legendary chicken noodle and loved it so much" Thomas replied.

"Ha ha ha! You are very confident in your restaurant's menu. One of the reasons is because of your delicious chicken noodle soup," said Agung honestly.

"Other causes?" ask Thomas.

"My eldest son recommended this legendary restaurant and chicken noodle to me" replied Agung.

Agung was silent for a moment to recall the events of twenty years ago and tried to control his emotions so that he could tell Thomas.

"At that time my son Satria and my daughter-in-law Eva and my granddaughter coincidentally passed by this restaurant. My granddaughter Jackson wanted to play on the beach so they decided to have lunch at this restaurant" Agung said.

"The three of them really liked this legendary chicken noodle and called me to join them. I was having an important meeting with a client at the time so I didn't join them. Finally we made a pact to eat together at this Hartono restaurant two days later," Agung said with teary eyes.

Agung did not think he would have no more chance to gather and eat with Satria and Eva.

Satria and Eva have a car accident that claimed the lives of both of them, precisely on the day they made a lunch appointment at Hartono Restaurant.

On that day Jackson also experienced trauma that resulted in him suffering from eating disorder.

A woman kidnaps Jackson and asks Satria and Eva to go see him. Satria drove quickly because she was worried that the woman would hurt Jackson, resulting in a car accident that claimed the lives of both of them.

In the end the woman releases Jackson after finding out Satria died in a car accident.

The woman was hysterical and went crazy and was put in a mental hospital. Two months later the woman committed suicide inside a mental hospital.

All this time Agung felt guilty to Jackson. Prior to Jackson's abduction, Agung went to see the woman and threatened her not to disturb Satria's household again.

Agung does not know the threat will provoke the woman to kidnap Jackson and result in the deaths of Satria Wijaya and Eva due to a car accident.

That woman's name is Susan. Susan is the secretary of Satria in Wijaya Company. Susan is crazy about Satria and wants to be her woman. Satria rejected him firmly because he already had a wife he loved so much, Eva.

Susan does not despair and uses a cunning way to trap Satria to have a friendly relationship with her once.

Satria immediately fired Susan from the Wijaya Company. Susan did not give up. The woman considers herself to be Satria's wife and terrorizes Eva into divorcing Satria.

At that time Eva was pregnant young and due to severe shock was almost a miscarriage. Satria tried hard to explain everything to Eva and Eva also believed the words of her husband who loved her very much. Eva forgives Satria.

Agung finds out about Eva who almost miscarried due to terror by Susan so took the initiative to meet Susan and threaten her not to disturb the household Satria again.

Soon after, Susan disappeared from Bali. Agung thought Susan had disappeared because she was afraid of the threat so she would no longer find out where Susan was.

Not five years later, Susan returned to Bali and brought a four-year-old boy over to the Wijaya Mansion.

Eva, who has become a mother, is more determined to face reality and leave all decisions to Satria.

Satria, who loves Eva very much, balked at Susan's unreasonable request.

Satria will do a DNA test with the boy. If the boy was indeed his son, Satria was willing to be in charge of providing all the same facilities as Jackson. Satria will send her to school until the child has a career and lives independently. However, Satria will not accept Susan and her son living in the Wijaya Mansion. Satria will find them a nice and decent home to live in.

Satria and Eva know Susan will definitely not accept Satria's decision and will terrorize Eva again.

The great who knew about it met Susan and threatened her again. It was unexpected that it provoked Susan to kidnap Jackson.

Susan asks Satria and Eva to meet him if they want to save Jackson. Susan had already prepared a divorce papers between Satria and Eva. Susan intends to force them to sign it as a condition to save Jackson.

Satria and Eva have a car accident on the way to meet Susan, which causes them both to die.

When police found Jackson, whom Susan had released, Jackson was very concerned and had to be hospitalized for a month.

From then on Jackson suffered from eating disorder. Jacksont can't eat any food. When forced, the food will be spewed back.

Agung had no idea what Susan had done to Jackson during the kidnapping. Many psychiatrists examined Jackson and remained unsuccessful in curing him because Jackson did not want to tell Susan what he was doing to her.

At that time Jackson was still a child so Agung did not want to force it too much. Agung is very grateful that Jackson can still survive for twenty years even though his illness has followed him all along.

Thomas saw Agung silent for a long time and did not continue his story so Thomas tried to talk to Agung.

"Did the Great Lord come to eat this legendary bakmi at that time?" ask Thomas carefully.

"I did not have time to eat this legendary noodle because Satria and Eva had a car accident that claimed their lives at that time" Agung replied sadly.

"Great Lord. I'm sorry for making you remember the sad events of that time" Thomas said.

"You are innocent. It is precisely the small family Satria had a happy day while in your restaurant at that time," said Agung.

"Satria tells me this Hartono restaurant has an interesting tradition. Every guest who eats here will be photographed with a polaroid camera and his photo is attached to the corner of the room wall. Today I ventured to look at the photo and find their photo. They are very happy in the photo" continued Agung.

Agung pulled out his phone from his pants pocket and opened his photo gallery.

Agung looked at the photo on his phone screen intently, then stared at Thomas.

"I took that photo with my phone. Satria, Eva, and Jackson look very happy in this photo. Maybe you still remember their faces" said Agung, handing over his phone to Thomas.

Thomas received the phone and saw the photo on his screen.

A pair of men and women smiled happily. The woman held a small plate containing a piece of cake.

In front of them stood a handsome boy with cream cake stuck to his nose and next to the boy was a girl with two braided hair smiling sweetly.

On the nose of the girl was also taped cream cake, just like the nose of the boy next to her.

"Rossy!" thomas said that the girl in the photo was Rossy, his eldest daughter.
